I don’t get the silver line on the door. It just looks tacky. I remember when they were putting silver in the door frames and I thought they looked like crappy mods, until I learned it was factory installed.
I would go with Acura…….but doesn’t look bad. They need to do some work on their interiors and dash area for $50k. Copy Kia 🙂 The world is officially crazy when a Jeep is $70k and Chevy blazer is $50k 🤣
Great review! The positioning of the side door name badges are definitely odd! Love Chevy’s but still not sold on it being comparable to Acura, more so the mdx which I’ve never been in love with; very odd they still don’t have a touch screen, like they’re trying to create a new trend of people preferring the dial to navigate. I’d say this is more comparable to the RDX.

@@r3tr0actiongamer24 I'm looking at Chevy Spark. Nothing luxury or premium about it. Now models within a brand can be differentiated. But putting ambient lighting in and call it "luxury" is a stretch.

So for what it is meant to be, it's a decent ride. 👌 I'm no longer upset. Lol Personally, I'd go MDX Type S Great review as usual Joe and Lori!!! Literally nobody does it like you guys!!!
Joe, this is one of your easiest questions to answer in a long time. Little deliberation to be had between this Chevy and the MDX. Better handling, more engaging, better resale value, a more unique looking vehicle than the cookie cutter looking Chevy and less long-term reliability concerns than the Chevy. I would go with the MDX all day long over this Chevy.
Hell yeah, I test drove one and that V6 has some power almost feels like a SUV Vette, Chevy talking about dropping in the LS V8 Can you say Typhoon coming soon 🤞💪
The updates make it look very nice. Still think it's about 3 grand too expensive though. It's made in Mexico so GM can afford to discount them. Whether or not you can get a good price at the dealer would be the deciding factor for me. Otherwise, I'd go for something else in it's price range. Such as a loaded up Acura RDX or Infiniti QX50. Or a base BMW X3, base Acura RDX, or base Audio Q5. There is also a fully loaded Mazda CX9 for the same price. GM defiantly needs to add more. Such as, a bigger screen, digital gauge cluster and led ambient lighting or discount the Blazer to compete with the others mentioned.
The engine is a 3.6 but I see that you put it in the description so you just made a mistake in your video. No biggie, tbh I love it but I think the mdx looks sharper. The blazer looks blend but overall still great.
Yeah. There are only three types of buyers at this moment for this vehicle: 1) Desperate buyers who need an SUV for a family; 2) Impatient buyers who are not willing to wait for a better SUV and 3) Uninformed buyers who did not do their due diligence research on this vehicle. That’s why I was patient enough and waited over a year to get my 2021 Rav4 Prime. Chevy was smart releasing the blazer as a midsized suv. Looks better/more sporty than all their other midsized options. In saying that, they need to release an updated K5 Blazer to compete with the Bronco but actually make it an off-road vehicle unlike what ford did with the mall crawling broncos
