Vetting a man is important regardless of color. Dating a number of men, white or black, only increases your chances of finding the man for you. Open your options up to any great man.
Yes! as a BW I date whoever I LIKE (black man, white man, or otherwise). I will love who loves me. Period. Too many BW limit themselves from finding love because they're waiting on a BM. Meanwhile, BM are dating and marrying whoever they want. The only issue I have is when one race fetishizes the other or puts down their own race because they've chosen to be in an interracial relationship. It highlights inner self-hate issues that need to be addressed. However, if I choose to date outside of my race, it's my business and it DOESN'T mean I don't love my people. Some of these comments are so childish and ridiculous.
Okay so let me get this right. The girl in the middle wanted to “experiment” with a white guy to “see what it be like” but she was turned off because she thought he was just “experimenting” with her. Okay...
Sasha 0406 Right, people need to really listen to these people on these talk shows.Becouse a lot of these guests ain't that smart or just not worth listening to.
I’m glad Claudia is being real. Its rare that someone that is biracial speaks with candor.Usually they paint a rosie picture of family life. They’ll usually only complain about how they were treated outside of home. She admitted she had struggles with her Mom being white.
True Freeman100G that sounds like a women issue not race thing. Trust and believe I’ve gone behind women of all race in the ladies room trust and believe some of their ass stank to.
The problem occurs when people put their own race, nationality, or culture down to say that they wouldn't date "their own." People can definitely have preferences, but don't downgrade others to try to justify the preference.
Gentleman Rated Or look up majority of black male celebs swirlers and plenty of black men on RUclips disparaging black women. Very rarely is a black female swirler disparaging bm
White male. I’ve dated a pretty much equal number or white and black women. There have been good and bad relationships with each. But I will say communication and a sincere openness is absolutely key in cultivating and sustaining a healthy interracial relationship. But you can’t let society dictate who you want to spend your time with!
I am highly disappointed in this clip. Claudia please start interviewing your guest before you let them on your show. How did a conversation about interracial dating turn into how big black men's penises are?? There are so many other things that needed to be discussed. Claudia you introduced some great topics but your panel did not further discuss in-depth what needed to be discussed. And the fact that y'all started to discuss the size of black men penises is problematic and a fetish in itself, like WTF 🙄 I'm so annoyed.
We were just having a lil fun. My shows will always be playful and serious when NEED be. But thanks for watching we will have all kinds of topics in the future
@@claudiajordanreal I understand and I giggled a couple times here and there. But this subject matter is too heavy to be light hearted about. And the direction the conversation went with the BBC comments were honestly shameful and embarrassing. I believe in you, I think you're a great host. You remind me of Tyra, when she started her show. But Tyra was a beast and she didn't play. She tackled hard uncomfortable topics with the correct connotation. I seen that you were trying to gear the convo back on topic but your guest didn't help you with that. That's why I said, try to have a say in who's gonna be the guest and chit chat with them before the cameras start rolling. Because it just always seems like your guest have a different agenda than the topic at hand; or their input is uninformative and lack luster. If you're gonna tackle these subject's that affect so many peoples lives', please respect the topic enough to give it the proper context and information. Especially for viewers like myself who want to see in depth, unbiased, intellectual conversations about these kinds of topics.
@Celeste Shui yeah, with Fox's history, it did seem majorly suspicious. Like wtf is Fox 'Soul'? Why are you calling it that? Why is it separate from the main network? And why is it all black people?
@Celeste Shui I agree about Fox being in control and not televising the true issues in the black community. I don't think her being biracial means that she is incapable of having an intellectual conversation about black issues. She's viewed as a black woman in society, her experiences are just as valid.
I agree the whole interview missed the mark completely dating outside your race is I mean is a deeper discussion. I know my son married white. And I could write a book about the complexity of me being a Pro-Black light skinned, light eyed Grandmother. It sucks...
How stop using black men to date outside your race .. black men don’t have to want you for you to date other men.. why it always have to be somebody not wanting you??
@@swatkins67 Maybe if the white man calls them the N word, and people say they never should have dated a white man in the first place, the women can say black men never wanted them that's why they got with a white man.
No she's not. She's bias. So black women never hear black men or black women call black men sellouts, and weak? Or they only hear when black men do it to them?
I dated interracial many times and in every one of them there was something missing. I have a better connection with black woman. There are some many unspoken agreements with in the culture.
I'm white and I dated a black man in the 70s when it was WAY outside the norm. I'm happy women today have more freedom to date whomever the hell they want.
I’m glad they talked about fetishes because it is so true. People need to ask themselves what’s a fetish, discrimination and prejudice vs what’s genuine.
Not all non black men fetishes black women. Just like there are black men that fetishes black women. Black men can fetishize non black women, and non black women do the same.
It's interesting how it's only people who make a conscious choice not to date a black woman, because apparently black women don't ever make a conscious choice to not date black men lol
@ Bohwe, It is definitely a fetish when WP have a preference for black people. The media sexualizes BW which perpetuates the fetish. Soon as BW got off the boat WM fetishized BW which is why they ra9ed BW unmercifully. And to this day you are still getting ra9ed mentally and psychologically which is why you uphold WP above your own race.

the woman in red dated 1 white guy who, according to her, acted just like a black guy (whatever that means). it's interesting she framed it that way, that the white guy acted like a black guy, as if the black guy has an act or a way. what she's really trying to say is that her TYPE of guy she would even entertain having a date with is a stereotypical player and it's entirely her fault for having poor taste and honestly enjoying being played on the low
That dating stereotype. Ugh it's cringy to watch this dating expert say this. My husband is white and we give each other that look. We have no barriers in our conversation. If you have barriers that person is not for you. Communication is key.
As a black man.....I respect that you give your White Husbands "that look" and I have know doubt that he understands that look from "you" but does he understands what the significance of what just took place? I think the issue with some black women is that we tend to be closed minded because of the pressure society puts on us to "protect" and " uplift" the black man. The one thing I absolutely hate hearing is "there are plenty of good black men out there" because I had only dated black men, until I met my fiancé. Granted, I am only 23 (going on 24 shortly), but I think it's very "toxic" (for lack of a better word) to bypass someone who is going out of their way to cherish you just because of their skin color. Black women are one of the most under appreciated demographics in the country (USA), even when considering black men, so why would I spend such a long time searching for something that so many beautiful black women before me haven't found? I was raised to understand that "it's not about the black or white man, but the RIGHT man". I will NEVER speak poorly of black men, as they tend to do when they date outside of our race *COUGH COUGH*, but I will acknowledge that I have never been appreciated, respected, loved, and cared for as much as I am right now. I'm in no way saying that it's solely because my fiancé is white, but I am saying that had I kept the closed mind that society expects...I may have missed out on one of the most special men I have ever met. Wow. That was so long! lmaoo Sorry!
I'm blonde and I like black women. I can't explain why I like it so much. But I know it's difficult for a blonde to have a black woman. A woman with African ethnicity is different from everyone else. It's very difficult to bear her power.
Girrrl. I had a "2" inch black man,i am still traumatized by it. The sad part is,he was playing me with another woman.so i told every body who knew him. He was very conscious of the size as well. Never again it is HARD work with a small penis.
I dated 2 micropenis BM ( both from California) one I was intimate with, the other I wasn't. It's very say because they can't control their size, but I had to let them go. I've also dated 3 gigantic size BM, and they had to go too. So big that it wasn't pleasurable, just straight painful. I'm like Goldilocks, not too big, not too small, but just right.

@14bricks LMAO, I rarely see Black couples period. If you don't believe me, ask someone else that lives in Los Angeles. I don't wear rosy colored glasses over here, I am reporting what I observe daily. If you are that serious about it, take a flight to Los Angeles to witness the high number of Black men with nonblack women. Seeing Black couples is so rare to where, when I do, I stare. I see Black women alone out here with their children.
@14bricks WHEN YOU HEAR THE QUOTE "MOST BLACK MEN ARE MARRIED (NOT DATE) TO BLACK WOMEN," ITS A LIE! Many of those women are MIXED race or light skin Latinas that black men CALL black. Now the 2020 U.S. Census is coming and a lot of people that are mixed ( most a product of black men and non black women) will check the black box. Why? Because black men know that fewer black babies are being CONCEIVED between black male/black female unions, and this has lowered the 13-14% black population in America. So to make it seem like the black population is growing ( when it's really shrinking) they encourage their mixed race children (18 and older, white passing or not) along with their mixed race significant others that they are black and to check that black box on the U.S. Census questionnaire. No! The majority of black men who are married are not married to FULL-BLOODED BLACK WOMEN. Do not fall for the okay donkey black women.
I was in a relationship with a white man for 5 years. He actually brought me to the NAACP. He supported my interest in diversity and he was so comfortable with my friends and me with his.
1. Claudia Jordan is fine as hell and an EXCELLENT host. 2. The guests were fine as hell. 3. I love Fox Soul so far! 4. We as black people should have our own network to have more shows like this
Auh.... We did have our own network to have more shows like this (4). It was called BET. Bob Johnson sold us out, along with many other BLK owned Magazines, TV networks and things specific to BLK people.
That is deep... how Claudia said her mom didn’t get it sometimes growing up and she at times wished she had a black mom for that reason. Her hair styles as a child too. It’s a real situation.
I believe it was one of those paradox's that seemed revolutionary and forward thinking. Personally, I wouldn't approach a white man about certain aspects of my blackness either.
The problem with these kind of conversations is that, the blk men are not there. Its always the women. These kind of conversations are goid with blk men too so that you see the difference in the mentality between men and women.
I get your point but from my experience the men just say that black women are the worst things ever and every woman is better than an western black woman.
The title is BLACK WOMEN on interracial dating though. Not Black people on interracial dating. So no black men were not needed in this segment. There are plenty of interviews on youtube of black men on interracial dating. A lot of them will sound similiar and be very disappointing because many of them are dating outside their race because they have personal issues with black women. Not because they were curious or interested in exploring cultural diversity in love. When black women date outside their race it is because they are usually just being open minded to finding love period. It's more genuine.
So she should hold black men to a higher standard than white men? Sounds like she has the same standard for both. But went back to black men cause that's who she's attracted to truly

Yes Donia! She touched on both being Black but coming from different backgrounds. I’m from a Panamanian household and my husband comes from an American household. We constantly argue because he refuses to go to Panamá with me to understand my culture. He thinks everything we do is “stupid” and I don’t play that mess. We’re different but we’re definitely NOT “stupid.”
My family is very mixed. And to be honest, I love my black men. But, if the man who is for me is white, Asian, Hispanic...I am happy. But, I just think as black women, we love our men so much more than they love us 🤷🏾♀️
Here I am, back to this discussion a year later. As a black woman who has dated multiple cultures, men are men. However, there’s a specific reason why I think black women focus on this particular issue. The issue with black women, is that we really love our black men. To the extent where marrying someone of another culture is pretty much taboo. And let’s not start on the fact that we tend to get shamed a lot more for not being with a brother than black men for being with white women or racially ambiguous black women who can pass for another ethnicity, in particular. For black men, it’s often been a status symbol or inherent self-hatred. Colorism and stereotypes at its finest. But, I think the reason a lot of black women are so critical even unto themselves about marrying or being with a white man in particular, is because of the sheer judgment we get in general from the black community. Almost as if we betrayed someone. In spite of the fact that black men have been doing it for years. We tend to be extremely loyal to the culture which already has a shortage of eligible men. But, I’m sorry. If the love of my life is a Japanese boy or a European man and he treats me like gold, I’m not letting the culture and the need to please the culture get in the way.
We need allies of the white race to fight along side with us. Unity not divisiveness. Nothing wrong with it, hes not ruling over anyone but helping the whole movement. As long as the white man isnt oppressing but uplifting than why not.
@@demam4648 why do we always make deflective responses. None of what u said has anything to do with my comment. No other race calls another race governing them unity or an alliance. No its a master save me slave relationship. U dont want to grow up and be responsible for your own race so u NEED alleged wite allies as a crutch. U need what they give and their compassion to survive. U don't have your own agenda or governance for anyone to aide or ally. Nor are we fighting for ourselves, only white inclusion,, interacial dating and acceptance. If we were fighting to have our own we would have no white allies. A race in a childlike state that does not governing their own cannot have allies only controllers. U cant be unified with someone ruling over u. U have a childlike slave mentality response. Unity among races does not replace a race being self sufficient being unified and presiding over themselves. We as blacks are more concerned with white allies than helping ourselves because we see him as a parent and a master. We are dependent on their help, compassion and acceptance as a means of survival. I can't be devisive in a race that's not together but under someone else.
This topic deserves a Part 2. There’s an explosion of mixing and mating happening and I believe it is largely due to the contributions of a social media influencer, business owner, and author of the book “Swirling.” Christalyn Karazin, Beyond Black & White is trailblazing through communities and cultures teaching BW how to expand their options despite an enormous amount of resistance from BM. I hope you will check out her videos, web page, and book and consider revisiting the topic of interracial relationships to expound on this growing shift.

Absolutely....I went out with a Italian guy an the whole night he only talked about how beautiful my skin and I was and I told him this isn't going to work out.
@TroubleChizzy2010 That's what controlling black men think back women want. In my opinion as a black man: Black women want men who love them for who they are AND how the look. It can't just be one or the other. That's how most humans are. the conversation becomes dehumanizing when some of us in the black male collective assume ALL black women (who date out) desire is the white gaze. They want love and protection.
I don't think someone being attracted to you physically is a bad thing or that person telling you that you are attractive. Most relationships begin due to physical attraction.
@Savannah Peters It's not a compliment when it's obsessive and no conversation about anything else, I don't need to be told I'm beautiful every second.
The lady in the red dress was not "trying something new" if she still chose a thugged out Eminem kind of guy👎🏾. I could tell from the way she described him when they met that he was the type of WM that acted like a BM. She said she didn't even know he was white at first 🤷🏾♀️. So that means he was probably dressed in hip hop clothes, surrounded by BM, listening to rap music, in an urban nightclub, or speaking heavy slang that he picked up from his many blk male friends that he hangs around. And honestly this is probably what attracted her to him because she's used to dating BM only, so of course she would pick a WM that was as close to a BM that she could get. That was her initial reaction to him before she noticed his blue eyes and realized he was a WM, she was attracted to his BM mannerisms. I never date the G Eazy's and Eminems, they're just a different shade of BM. What's the point of "trying something new" as she said if you're deliberately picking the same thing? #ChooseBetter 👩🏾+👨🏼=🍦😍🍦
Slim Goodie but isn't that how most white men act and look? Why white girls love the way Justin Beiber act and look? Cause he acts black. Most white boys today use words like lit, drip and turn their hats backwards.
I told the universe I wanted something different: commitment, passion, hardworking. I was dating bums!!! It just so happen that the next person to approach me, happened to be white. We’ve been together for twelve this April and we have a smart, funny, and f-omg adorable little boy. My husband is educated on how to comb and nurture his hair. We have open and honest conversations. My husband in an immigrant, so explaining diversity and discrimination isn’t difficult.
I am in an interracial relationship and we’re happy. I educate myself about the culture and all the fights black people have to go through and he is starting to love his skin. When he said I hate my skin color I cried, because the black people are so so beautiful. I mean their skin looks like gold and so smooth and beautiful. In an interracial relationship you can be pro black and be active against racism! I love the woman with the white husband she gets me and my thoughts about being open minded and don’t shrinking yourself
I've always said (& Claudia was brave enough to be brutally honest 4:36) that the mixed kids with black Mother's fair way better in life than the mixed kids with white ones! Take mixed celebrities for example, the ones who have black mother's & white father's are more settled, less confused, etc. The celebrities with black father's & white mother's for the most part just aren't! White mother's always tell their children THEY'RE JUST JEALOUS OF YOU, after coming home explaining issues with their peers! That is not teaching them how to solve social problems - It teaches them to believe that they're BETTER than others. Then you have to consider why they even wanted mixed children in the first place! Most times it's just bc of their own fetishes or insecurities, which get passed onto their children, bc the Mom spends more time with the children EVEN IF HE'S IN THE HOME (& most cases he is not) Don't get me wrong, There are examples of white mother's who did an excellent job, but very few! HALLE BERRY 's mother is on the top of my list! It's bc she told Halle, "it's not just about how you see yourself -it's also about how the world (aka white ppl) views you!" 🤯She told Halle that she's a black woman, PERIOD! "Your father is black & so are you & that's no slight on me!" (her mother said) look up some of the old interviews of Halle Berry, they're chocked full of pearls, gems & wisdom
@Sleep1061 Obama struggled very bad in the early part of his life. He was very confused. He didn't start coming into his own until after he took a trip to Kenya and got in contact with his black African relatives. Steph Curry doesnot have a white mother. His mother is Creole
The host was being so real about her experience growing up biracial with a White mother. In my opinion, if you are White and you are with a Black person, and you want the relationship to last, you MUST educate yourself on what it truly is like to be Black in the Western world. It will be helpful, especially when you have kids. And for god's sakes, if you have become a mother to girls, learn how to do the hair.
These generation of men are different 😆. They’re raised differently. My issue is they only show either a white man or a white woman as the standard of interracial dating. They have Asian guys too plus some Arabic guys like black woman. And saying that all Black men are well endowed is over sexualizing them. Your basically just saying they are only good for one thing. Plus the definition of well endowed for is different for everyone. Some people think 9inches is small. So it just depends on the person.
I am a lighter skinned black woman and Arab men love me. Im married to a black man. Yet, I know I could have gotten with an Arab man or an Indian or latino. Those men have approached me just as much as black men.
not ALL black men are big. saying ALL is dumb , the fact is that black men on average are larger than any race.if you see one blackman with a 5 inch penis be sure that for that one black man there are one thousand white man with 5 inches.
@Hopeless in Nyc I had a woman tell me anything under an 8 was small she said 8 was average she said a 9 was medium and anything over 10 was big...I've also had many women tell me I'm big and I'm only a 7 in a half....then I had some women tell me I'm average...so I've heard it all...

there is racism when a white man likes a black woman. a white man is considered inferior in everything. a white man can be attacked in the street just for being with a black woman. a white man has to go through all of this to have a biracial marriage. but it is very difficult to have a black wife in the United States
I notice the two ladies that love black men so much is ringless 🤔 I guess black men don't love you that much to put a ring on it but the lady that dated out married that's what happens when you don't explore your option you end up on national tv ring less saying how much you love black men

I don't know why everyone was clapping when she said her white husband was the vice president of the black student union! Would a black person ever be the vice president of the white student union? NOPE! So that made me very uncomfortable to be honest.
I only date within my own race specifically bc Ive learned that we are just different people that have different cultures and completely differing views on the world and how things should be. It's not bc I'm racist at all bc I'm not. Im just not attracted to other women on that level. There's nothing wrong with that at all but the media and all of these liberals want people to think you are a racist if you believe that way. It's like they want to tell people who they should be physically attracted to now. It's just ridiculous.
yalisaconner no it’s not it’s a preference. I date only black and that’s my preference because I can totally be friends and colleagues with people from other races but I have zero sexual attraction to them.

Your sex/gender is dictated by your genitalia and hormones and if your hormones effect your body in a way where you have the inside of one sex but appear as the opposite sex on the outside. Then you will have identification issues. That’s totally different then having the reverence for another race to the extent that you identify as that race
Jay R but that happens in less than one percent of transgender, who were born with ambiguous genitalia. And most of these situations are rectified when they are young.

I am highly disappointed in this clip. Claudia please start interviewing your guest before you let them on your show. And the fact that y'all started to discuss the size of black men penises is problematic and a fetish in itself, like WTF 🙄 I'm so annoyed.

WHEN YOU HEAR THE QUOTE "MOST BLACK MEN ARE MARRIED (NOT DATE) TO BLACK WOMEN," ITS A LIE!

Aggree
They are a waste of time
Here I am, back to this discussion a year later.
Then why do you treat them so poorly?
They are not your men. They don't belong to you. You don't own them. They can be with who they choose to be with.
That wasn't a "Black Student Union" then.. smh

This topic deserves a Part 2. I hope you will check out her videos, web page, and book and consider revisiting the topic of interracial relationships to expound on this growing shift.

@Tasheri a naker??? you socialize with self hating swirlers who date racist white men don't you???
I see where you're coming from. She probably didn't think that far ahead and just assumed since he was white it would be different.
@Celeste Shui 😂
Shamar Moore's mother told him the same thing
Obama? Curry? I don't know, theory seems kind of shaky.
Lol black females are so desperate haha!
@Sleep1061 Obama struggled very bad in the early part of his life. He was very confused. He didn't start coming into his own until after he took a trip to Kenya and got in contact with his black African relatives. Steph Curry doesnot have a white mother. His mother is Creole
@@kisha4040 Beyonce? Lol
@@a.d.w8385 good grief!😰💦
not ALL black men are big. saying ALL is dumb , the fact is that black men on average are larger than any race.if you see one blackman with a 5 inch penis be sure that for that one black man there are one thousand white man with 5 inches.
@Richard Byfield Well black men sure are not taking responsibility of raising the men they father. Black women can't produce children by themselves. I bet your ass can't take responsibility for this one either. Dumb Ass!
This video gave me a lot of things to think about!! It was very interesting!!
I've dated couple black Americans. I haven't had good experiences but so far I agree with Donia. We are all human and that is what we should always do. Just keep giving people chances no matter what race.
there is racism when a white man likes a black woman. a white man is considered inferior in everything. a white man can be attacked in the street just for being with a black woman. a white man has to go through all of this to have a biracial marriage. but it is very difficult to have a black wife in the United States
I notice the two ladies that love black men so much is ringless 🤔 I guess black men don't love you that much to put a ring on it but the lady that dated out married that's what happens when you don't explore your option you end up on national tv ring less saying how much you love black men

Well you have to hink when this problem of single black woman came about. Back in the days the black household married and being single with kids was frowned up upon in the black community why has it changed so much now?
Damn we rip each other apart way too much...We all melanated ppl.If you want to date out .Just date out lol
Rachel was tripping and lying about her indentification... so it made her look bad and crazed about our culture. She went way too far. Be you and be honest
I don't know why everyone was clapping when she said her white husband was the vice president of the black student union! Would a black person ever be the vice president of the white student union? NOPE! So that made me very uncomfortable to be honest.
yumchi09- yeah that is suspect. LOL He seems like he wants to be Black when he can.
Is there a White Student Union? Most all student groups on campuses are for white by white and are often quite comfortable with segregation.
How about you date for values and character instead of superficial crap. Date people you like and who likes you.
Claudia said did you see his thang ?? Lol 😂🤣😅

I dated a white man before I started dating my husband. At the time my husband was a friend and he even said that he thought his chances with me was very low because I shared with him how well that guy treated me and how much I liked him. I never compared him to black guys though because to me that didn’t make sense since my father (God rest his soul) was my heart ♥️. He still is, he’s resting in peace now 🙁.
I didn’t like the stares we got when we went out because he was the whitest of white guys and he was all over me. LOL Hand holding, staring into my eyes. I don’t know, I wasn’t used to guys being that affectionate. He didn’t notice the stares from others but I did. Anyway, it didn’t work out and so I ended up with the friend whom I told everything to who just so happens to be Haitian 🇭🇹. 20 years later, we are still making each other laugh.

I understand. The sad thing is that if a black woman is seeking an affectionate man and she only gets it from men of other races, she may start to believe that she is not attractive to black men. Of course, that was not the case for me.

Never go into dating and relationships with the mindset of wanting to be with a particular "race" tribes we can just about get as you want to uphold the traditions say for example #IgboCulture but other than that you should go into dating and relationships with knowing what your role and position is as a man or a woman and live out that role. The problem is so many don't know how roles and relationships actually work. So they move by trial and error and get hurt and then blame a particular "race" and then decide well let's date another "race" and then realize it's not them it's you whether you have good experiences or bad experiences...true or facts?

I feel the best thing to do in interracial couples learn each other's backgrounds and culture and don't change or sell out who you are. A LOT OF OUTSIDERS WITH ISH TO SAY CAN'T GET A MATE IN ANY FASHION, THAT'S WHY THEY HATE!!!
So a man can identify as a woman and that's okay, but Rachel can't identify as black???
Renea Mitchell yes because your skin colour clearly dictates what race you are. Your sex/gender is dictated by your genitalia and hormones and if your hormones effect your body in a way where you have the inside of one sex but appear as the opposite sex on the outside. Then you will have identification issues. That’s totally different then having the reverence for another race to the extent that you identify as that race
