The thing is, even to this day, no matter how many times my friends and therapists tell me I was neglected and have trauma from that, there’s still a part of me convinced that I was the one messing up our relationship somehow. Both my parents were abused as children and they swore to themselves that they would never physically abuse their children. Yet they ended up mentally and emotionally abusing me instead. I kept telling myself that it was fine, that other people have been through worse and I’m overreacting and that maybe if I kept giving up my happiness for them they would eventually notice what they’re doing and care for me but to this day, nothing has changed. I need to realize by now that it wasn’t my fault but with how they raised me it’s hard to see fault in people who’re using me. They caused me to be unable to correctly respond to situations and I often find myself reacting inappropriately to events. I can’t tell if I should be happy or sad when my friend rants to me and I still don’t know to what degree I should react. I often find myself overly ecstatic or barely bothered by things that should invoke the opposite reaction.
I was in the similar situation one thing I've been told is that the things our parents do is THEIR problem, not ours, so dont blame yourself. We will eventually grow to learn how to properly react to situations. Stay strong, it will get better.

(Yes this is going to be a story time, I do apologize if this isn’t the main focus but I wanna share this just to get some advice and guidance). I used to be in a relationship with her for about a year and 2 months and during those years, I was known to be “bipolar” ( mood swings ). I wasn’t in the great state of mind during that time and I still wasn’t when I first met her. She was a sweet loving girl who deserved the world more then anything, even I was scared to hurt her. I remember the good times about the relationship but I also remember the bad times.. I never realized it fully until we finally decided to break up. A little info about me before I was “bipolar”, I was basically just someone who was trying to live a normal life when all of a sudden, a boy I used to like, started dating me and treated me like shit. Going through that torture mentally and emotionally caused me to have trust issues. I never trusted myself when I was with my recent ex. The reason was because I was scared to hurt her..and I did without even realizing it. Now I’m currently working on myself and I’m doing what I can to live a new life! Me and her are friends now and that’s better then nothing tbh. If anybody has any questions about what happened or want clarification on it then I’ll be glad to answer them.

She said to me that if I would leave, she would kill herself and if you hear that, you don't know what to do. But if you are neglected in the relationship, feel uncomfortable and want to leave, you should leave. I watched this video once prior to kinda being in this sort of relationship. I'm not sure why I didn't think back on it to help myself, but after rewatching it today, after everything that's happened (not in the literal context of the song, at least not all throughout the relationship I had with a friend who seemed to be just like this boy. Y'know, broken and possibly abused irl, I'll never really know..), I kinda kick myself about it every chance I get because I let myself get to the point that the girl has gotten to. And even though I've long since split from the so-called friend I was with, I'm still stuck holding onto them. Maybe even the idea of them. And I know it's not good. Because of that, I'm essentially putting myself in the cycle shown in this music video. Wherever that sick person is now, I hope they are in a better place mentally, physically and emotionally. As someone who is in a situation like this (or I think I am) im currently talking to a guy that had a breakup with his girlfriend a few months ago. She was his first girlfriend but he was flirting with me a lot so I assumed he was over it. But I was wrong not even a full month in he was acting strange and he told me he was missing his ex. So I distanced myself from him but I started to fall in love with him…so after 5 days I started talking to him again and he said he finally got his head in the right space and he only wanted me (right then and there I should’ve known something was wrong) but I was too attached to him and wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. Things seemed fine and normal again up until now. His ex came up again and he still isn’t fully over her…but I told him I would wait for him and still be there for him if he needs anything but, it’s hurts. It hurts because I love him but he doesn’t love me, we barely talk and when we do it’s dry now. But I have attachment issues and he seems like he just needs me only to fill his void but he needs to fill it himself in order for him to be able to love (or at least that’s how I see it) im putting myself through hell because I still care about him regardless and I understand how losing your first love can feel and Ik first hand how long it can take to accept that, move on and finally except the people that actually care… Sorry for the essay/vent pls lmk your thoughts I need some advice ☹️

I think at the end it isn't a plate with a hole but a lesser amount of food put on the plate. But even if it was a hole. I watched this video once prior to kinda being in this sort of relationship. I'm not sure why I didn't think back on it to help myself, but after rewatching it today, after everything that's happened (not in the literal context of the song, at least not all throughout the relationship I had with a friend who seemed to be just like this boy. Y'know, broken and possibly abused irl, I'll never really know..), I kinda kick myself about it every chance I get because I let myself get to the point that the girl has gotten to. And even though I've long since split from the so-called friend I was with, I'm still stuck holding onto them. Maybe even the idea of them. And I know it's not good. Because of that, I'm essentially putting myself in the cycle shown in this music video. Wherever that sick person is now, I hope they are in a better place mentally, physically and emotionally. I mean that.. But I know we should never cross paths again. I shouldn't ever see them again. I'm glad I came back to this video. Hopefully I can snap myself out of this. 😅

A little detail i noticed abt the music video is that the girl has these beauty marks under each eye and those usually mean that the person will have a bad love life or be unlucky with love 👍
As someone who is in a situation like this (or I think I am) im currently talking to a guy that had a breakup with his girlfriend a few months ago. She was his first girlfriend but he was flirting with me a lot so I assumed he was over it. But I was wrong not even a full month in he was acting strange and he told me he was missing his ex. So I distanced myself from him but I started to fall in love with him…so after 5 days I started talking to him again and he said he finally got his head in the right space and he only wanted me (right then and there I should’ve known something was wrong) but I was too attached to him and wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. Things seemed fine and normal again up until now. His ex came up again and he still isn’t fully over her…but I told him I would wait for him and still be there for him if he needs anything but, it’s hurts. It hurts because I love him but he doesn’t love me, we barely talk and when we do it’s dry now. But I have attachment issues and he seems like he just needs me only to fill his void but he needs to fill it himself in order for him to be able to love (or at least that’s how I see it) im putting myself through hell because I still care about him regardless and I understand how losing your first love can feel and Ik first hand how long it can take to accept that, move on and finally except the people that actually care…

1. The Chattering Lack of Common Sense
This one is extremely hard to decipher! Hell, I don't think even Ghost had a story for this, could be wrong. Hell, they mentioned it was originally just a crack-song they made when 16 (the original is IN the description!)
2. The Distortionist
This can be a bit creepy! But the character is hot so.. Although, the meaning is easier to figure out.
3. Amygdala's Rag Doll (I never really understood this song personally, but it's so catchy!)

I think at the end it isn't a plate with a hole but a lesser amount of food put on the plate. But even if it was a hole. I see the boy the one as the one who gave her the curry and all I believe he is giving lesser and lesser love to her. She believes she will be given love again later therefore justifying his behaviour.
