These and the previous ones are great value, using them with Sanken COS 11, love the charging case! Only thing missing? A small XLR cable so I can use two sets with the sony K3M XLR and use the 4 channel audio!
The no native app or any way to change the transmitter settings without the receive is huge. You can't enable 32bit float, gain (if not using 32bit float), or low cut filter. they just can't be changed.
True! However I would just LIVE on 32 bit float and never change it if I ever took the transciver out solo. Something tells me they will be putting out an app soon though… right ?
@@dandobiYou can only do that if you have a receiver though. Many who will buy a transmitter for use with their action 4 (for Moto vlogging) or similar, won't have a receive. Same for those who got one with their Osmo. A simple app would fix most of the problems.
Wait, but why upgrade from the track e? I use the track e when out and about, and the only thing I can see that makes this better is that there are 2 of them.

I personally think that the audio quality is very poor, specially when using NC. You can see the test on my channel. It sounds like an AI overprocessed audio, very flat and muddy. Really dissapointing… I had very high expectations considering the build quality and user experience. Returned it and sticked to my old RODEs 😁.

I think that there is a general general audio problem with the sound profile. Don't know how much is hardware or software related. But NC is really awful... All the best! PS: Great image quality in your videos! :)

I canceled my order on launch day because I watched 3 reviews in a row that did comparisons with others (like Rode Pro) and I thought the audio quality was considerably lower. I did see other reviews that sounded better, so then I wondered if there is a consistency issue in production models. I waited to get the first version and think I will wait on version 2.
The only thing you did not talk about was what the product was designed for, meaning the quality of the audio that you get. Quite a few youtubers have had issues with that. How can you review a microphone and not talk about that?
Interesting! Had nothing but a good experience with it. Maybe they didn’t have their settings right? I mention in the review that placement is improvement and good audio is dependent on how you actually use the mic! Also, yeah for the price tag I feel this is really good audio, are their better (more expensive) options, yeah sure! Regardless, appreciate your comment dude!

With that said, there are others that had better sounding audio. I think there may be an issue with consistency. Like with version 1, I think I will wait at least 6 months before giving it a chance.
Please Check the Signal of both mic. I discover that they have not the same signature 😔 It is a Problem with the Hardware and quality of the micro 🎤 😡 I Return mine for an other set of dji mic . 😞
