    You are a Rockstar Ajith!!! Thanks so much for your video. This solved my blocker perfectly. I was quoting the sharepoint variables in the json structure which was giving a type error. Your compose output also completed my output question. Your example videos have been a lifesaver for my power automate learning. Cheers!!!

    Really helpful video, but I'm finding this flow is attaching all the attachments in the SharePoint list to the task in planner and not just the attachments related to the individual task (row) in SharePoint. Any advice on how to correct his?

    • @abm4975
      @abm4975  Год назад

      Hi
      Yes that's correct so in my video I am using Get Items. So it is getting all the items from the list and all the attachments related to those records. So if you want to target a particular record from the list you need to use the filter query to get that specific record.
      Thanks

      @@abm4975 Any hints on the filter query. I've been doing some research and can't quite get it to work. I'm either getting all attachments in the entire list, or none.

    great video ajith. can this be done with onedrive instead of sharepoint? it will be great if you can make a tutorial on how to create a task from an email including attachment. a lot of people need that and most of templates online and couldn’t find a one solution

      @@abm4975 thank you ajith for your forthcoming about helping. i have tried over the past few days many tutorials including the tutorial below (which was referenced in the link you sent). but nothing really worked. it will be a big help to the community if you can make the definitive flow for adding a task from email with attachement from one drive.

      Hi Sadek
      I will do a video for this soon. Could you please explain attachment from one drive? I thought you want create a task from email and attach the attachments which are coming from email. What is the one drive you mentioned? Please explain?

      @@abm4975 that will be great, ajith. the onedrive comes in because i am under the impression that files have to be saved in a location on onedrive or sharepoint and my team uses onedrive. but it would be better if attachements can be added to tasks directly from emails. by the way, here is an image of the flow i created.. all the steps work and tasks are created but email's body and attachments don't show on the task. i wonder if you can see what i am doing wrong and where this flow's logic fail: photos.app.goo.gl/f44ajRCDg1DE46jR9

      Hi Sadek
      Because you are storing in One Drive you need to generate the url in a specific way. I have tested it now. I will make a video about it soon.
      If you are storing under SharePoint and using the meata data we can get the path. For OneDrive the path is constructed in a different way.
      Thanks

    This would have been loads more helpful if you had shown how to do image attachments. You even had an image on your list item. Everybody runs into issues when attaching images and having it not generate the thumbnail using this method.
