I really like how you did the fire, lightning through the window, and the overall dark but warm look to the area. Of many fireplace/thunderstorm videos I use, this one looks fantastic.
Try doing a search for it....cus there's way better videos than this for thunderstorms, minus the background though. The best I've found has a black screen. But check out the channel "Outdoor Therapy", they have a ton of ASMR videos for rain, snow, wind etc... i love the owl sounds, the scarf hanging over the back of the couch. i had writer's block on a science paper or just plain student procrastination, but this room calmed me enough to focus. there's something about being indoors, safe and warm while a storm is raging outside that brings the most comfort. 🪄

With rain + fireplace ambient videos, I am often frustrated with how the rain sounds. The creator usually just combines a fireplace sound with rain that was obviously recorded outside. You did well with this one; the sound of the rain comes from hitting the window. Awesome work!
Love all of it besides the volume of the crackling fire. It's a little too loud for sleeping but also too loud compared to real life. I guess maybe if the grate is chocked full of cedar or pine...Still like it for relaxing after work though.

It doesn't bother me. Probably because I'm hard of hearing. I'm just glad I can hear it at all. I love ambient sound.
