The couch arrived in two boxes four days early, which was great because we'd just moved into a new house and needed places to sit. My son and I put it together pretty quickly ruclips.net/user/postUgkxitRzxya-XugamYgLwa_2G1gxPg4MCJHa . Another reviewer suggested inserting the seat into the side and I'm glad they did as the instructions weren't clear on that matter. It's incredibly light and slides easily across the wood floor, making it easy to move. It's firm, but comfortable. It will even be great to nap on. I got the gray, which definitely has strong blue undertones, but I'm okay with that.
I've been searching YT for weeks seeking out a simple and effective trigger build and am sure i found it right here. So many complicated versions out there and built with the help of half a fucking tool supply shop. Keep it country is always my motto and use quality product for endurance and reliability. Good man. New sub.
Watched this a few times. My buddy has all of the tools to precision cut metals. Used steel for the retainer and trigger. We made the housing out of aluminum. I based it off of how the AR15 trigger group is. Basically used the same concept you have here but when it was placed inside of the housing and pinned into place. Once it was dropped into the bow two bolts ran across to secure the entire assembly.
Excellent simple and robust. I believe all kit must be extremely robust and very easy to repair in the field with the most simple means and material found in the field. Thank you , my entertainment comes from learning something new with simple at the core.
Selfmade No it's not sarcasm. I like the design and execution. My experience over too many decades now has shown me simple always wins. It's eloquent because of its simplicity. The Germans found that out first hand. There equipment was always over engineered where the Russians always went for robust simplicity in greater numbers. Even though one on one the Germans always won. The T-34 had a very simple robust eloquent design that proved to not only be there equal but proved to superior to any tank of the war.
Being German myself I can't help but disagree with this comment. Yes simplicity is easier to replicate and repair but it doesn't mean by default it is better. Look at cars for instance....Germany builds some of the best cars on the market and has been a leader in the automotive industry since Hitler and the beetle.
well the speargun shafts need a top for the clip to press against the shaft and the shaft to press against the top also i will make it painfully with a hacksaw in 5mm stainless marine grade steel the housing has to be made of one piece folded over also and a stronger spring also the catch does not need to be hollow in the centre it can be solid and the catch has to be round not pointy but other than that its perfect
Could swear the spears have a notch at the end, so this should work as shown. Besides materials. Has to be steel and the notch for the arrow is not needed.
..If made carefully, it's the simplest crossbow trigger mechanism of all...Where can I find that type of tension spring? ..Thanks a lot for sharing... . 👌🏼👍🏼💙
Quick question. Have you tested this out in an actual crossbow with a decent load? Because from what it looks like, when the string is pulled back to sit behind the arrow in the resting area, it will create a moment releasing the arrow even if you didn't pull on the trigger. Or basically, it will automatically go off when you try to set the arrow and string. Im not saying this will happen, this is just what it looks like to me.
i made it and it works well, add a safety with a steel stick from top if u think its dangerous, if u wont handmade your own crossbow not to worry about u can use the trigger with safe like a toy
the only problem with your prototype is that the front paw dont softly and smoothly clear the string path. i think having the pivot point rearward a little more would help it swivel downward farther.
Shouldn't the bolt/string catch pivot 90 degrees when the trigger is pulled? At the current stop angle, it seems like the string, behind the bolt, will catch on the forward prongs/fork and cause it to jump above the bolt/arrow. not to mention it seems like the string drag over it will cause excessive wear and premature string failure. If it pivots 90 degrees the forward string catch will rotate completely out of the way. Or am I missing something? I need to know, LOL.
Do u have a file that I can print out with the real scale parts on a paper and the I can saw them out. Pls answer me andaybe you can help me. Making a school project. 🙂
i would like to ask you is there any alternative (pipes....)at home or from the materials stores to get a barrel for homemade shotgun please help me with specific informations to choose the barrel for safety (type of material,length,diameter....) thanks in advance
Dudes a fuckink idiot he wants you to basically trace it .Trust me he has not used this design on any kind of crossbow or speargun with any power what so ever thats why he isnt demostrating firing it. IT IS EXTREMELY UNSAFE AND WILL NOT WORK LOOK ELSEWHERE THERE ARE SIMPLER EFFECTIVE AND SAFER
@@bmar2ndastrong417 This is a great design and in steel will hold 2000 lbs or 900kg. Small changes (like keeping the corners rounded and enlarging the Shaft diameters will result in enhanced load bearing. People, please understand that thought and effort have gone into this design. When someone gives you something free, please accept it with gratitude. The folk who want links and measurements and who cannot even get it when the man says trace in on a paper, ...can never get it free even if it was mailed to them.
Not a bad design, the whole idea is there. How ever don't make a space in between the 'hook' part where the string hangs as this would weaken the area as string tension can be as high as 400 pounds, even more. To hold the end of the bolt in position, a thin flat piece of metal or hard plastic should be used. Bolt or dart as it is called, not arrows, the name of the arrow launched from a crossbow. I would DOUBLE the size of all components used here including the screws and bolts and nuts for strength. Make the angle of the front face of the string holder or hook, LOWER, as to ease insertion of string when pulled into firing position. Please include a safety device for the trigger mechanism including a trigger guard. . Be safe always. NEVER fire a dry bow or crossbow as this will severely damage the equipment. Thanks.
Again......for a BIG bow you need a BIG one...for a small one, make it small! Print the parts out and boom. Need them bigger, stretch them on screen, print, boom².

With this design I believe it would be easy to pull with 200 pounds. Look how long is the trigger and you have to move it just a bit to release the tension. I'm planning to build a crossbow with similar trigger mechanism so I'll know soon.
your design is simple but compact and a good layout that there isnt to much stuff in there. most of the triggers i saw dont have it that the trigger goes back to its original position
So, basically just a copy of a simple speargun trigger mechanism, but constructed in such a way that the string will have to jump over the bolt, after having been held back by two flimsy pieces of alu, that most certainly will cut into the string? Simple? Yes. Effective? Not even close!

i have been looking for a nice speargun trigger plan and found this is perfect when i change a few tiny details thank you so much!!
Hm, should actuallly work just like it is. What changes and why? Just in case I make one someday ^^
well the speargun shafts need a top for the clip to press against the shaft and the shaft to press against the top

exactly yes and has to be able to hold 160kg of elastic
Then you do need steel :p
Simple, solid and surprisingly smooth, no aftershock when released, gret job thanks

Seem that the is not to much movement in the string holder to let the string move free over it in the shot?
wow cool ... this is very simple, but very solid ... thanks for the tutorial
good job good design .. I ll suggest also adding a safety feature like a safety catch .. great design once again
Thx. Adding a pin is easy.
Looks great. How did you cut aluminum?
I find that a scroll saw works quite nicely
nice work, but how many lbs can it handle. i have a homemade crossbow with a power of 250 lbs.
Just kidding
would be better to use a sholder bolt for the pivot center screw.
Oh !! it auto lock really look great , anybody try tis trigger before, wish to made one r mg crossbow in future....thks guy

so its a matter of safety

Thanks. Do you mean a revolve mech? More complicated than it looks ^^
How we can set in gun
How much force can it hold before triggering itself

where i can buy this trigger???
aliexpress, or any place who know???
i havent time or tools or material for making this simple thing
If you dont have the time you need the $. Email me.
what type of screws are those
Very nice thank you 💯💯😎😎

did you ever think maybe some measurements for the different parts might help

had all 3 n still no numbers

Wow Thanks friends I liked your tigar
Next tigar please
Send the measurements friend please
Good job, could you tell me the dimensions and the type of material, especially how to get the spring?
The material is aluminium for the dimensions you gotta eyeball it and the spring can be easily obtained from any hardware shop.
Very simple, I will try to do that

do you have dimensions?
Buenas noches amigo. Saludos me podrías ayudar enviándome.

I think the hardest part in designing a trigger is a reliable and automatic security lock, any good ideas here?
Great design simple and easy

thanks for posting that matter.... share more anything relible...

it depends on the size of your speargun or crossbow
