Lyrics:
Opened my eyes to a new kind of way
All the good times that you saved
Are you feeling,
You feeling that way too
Or am I just,
Am I just a fool
When the summer's gone
She'll be there standing by the light
Once she's been to where she's gone to
She should know wrong from right
A new road's waiting, you touched my life
Soft and warm on a summer's night
You're the only one, the only one I love
The lovely one, I'm thinking of Видеоклипы
Steve Perry and Greg Rolie’s voices together was pure gold
And Neil’s guitar
Aaaaaaaamennnnnn ! 😂😂😂😂😂@@johnthompsonnunu2556
Absolutely
Amen. Fuckin free flow. At the end transported
I often wonder what Journey would have become if they kept them both, they were great together
This was the best version of Journey.
Agreed. This line up of Journey was fantastic.
Infinity was really the album that broke them through. Aynsley Dunbar’s drumming was excellent, too
@@arikirsch8168 Did you know he tried out for Jimmy Hendrix band?
I returned to this after a year because there is STILL NOTHING LIKE THIS in 2023. Are you feelin’ that way too?
Feeling that way
I'm feeling that way
No I'm not feelin' that way. As much as I luv this, there is plenty of good music out there in 2024. You either aren't really looking or are just hunting for clicks
I'm back and still feeling that way. Nothing these days compares to the great music of the past.
# Feelin That Way
One of the most underrated Journey masterpieces 🥰💗
Wrong.
This isn't underrated, that like saying We will rock you is underrated. Underrated is Somthin' to hide, do you recall, daydream, someday soon, The party's over, keep on running, edge of the blade, etc
You're absolutely right
@@shannonphillips6340 If you know their work at all most fans will rate this as a favorite. Not underrated.
@@Faltor895 no we will rock you is an overrated song.. I hardly ever hear this song on the radio because it's always don't stop believing.. Not that "Don't stop believing isn't a good song and same with " we will rock you" but they are very well known songs and this one you don't hear about all that much
No matter who journey gets for a new lead singer. They will never compare to Steve Perry. Hit like if you agree.

The Greg Rollie/Steve Perry dual vocals were by far the best days for Journey!! love this era of their music.
I absolutely agree, Rick! I thought they sang great together, as well as apart! Fanfriggingtastic!
Makes you wonder what the band would have been like if Rollie stuck around. They were a great pair.
They both sound awesome 🙂😎 sure wish they would of made recorded some more music together
I absolutely agree!!
I also like seeing beer on the piano
Yes. Absolutely
2024- One of the BEST Duets to hit Vinyl in the 70's✌️
If no one had ever heard this, and it was released today.. it would take over the world as it did then. Journey would take off like a rocket and reach unbelievable success, even in the clown world that we are living in.
Clown world indeed. Good music died after grunge. I swear.
@@katiejon17 Good music hasn't died. It's just incredibly difficult to find.
@@roopan1968 because it’s dead. And by that I don’t mean it doesn’t exist anywhere, but that main stream keeps killing it. There were decades where good music WAS main stream.
Heck yeah.
Agreed!!!
I am shocked and confused... why aren't the Steve Perry and Gregg Rolie duet songs seen as some of the best duets of all time? This is a masterpiece song and together, they sound like an angelic blend of vocals. I am so fortunate to be alive when this was recorded and popularly played on radio... before radio and production music sucked big balls....
I agree completely!!
I remember hearing this and thinking how phenomenal this song was. Freaking awesome
Yes, and the harmonies in this band are incredible! Love it.
I would hate to be Rollie, everyone screams when the master starts singing, he could not get out fast enough. To get buried like that every show, I don't blame him.
They are!
Wish Gregg and Steve had shared vocals a little more. Pure Magic
me too! This sing is the best!
This is a great song and both guys did well but, but, but, when Perry starts to sing it is absoulute magic, the guy just has that certain appeal about him that is outstanding.
Greg left to spend more time with his family, a couple years after Perry joined the band. He handpicked Cain as his replacement from the group The Babies...
Yes I agree totally love this song
Shelly Villalobos I agree
You have to love how RUclips is the closest thing to a time machine we have. ♥️🎵

WOW ! Can we please go back to the 70’s and 80’s so we can hear the best music of all time !

@@mariawaugh-clayton7978 it’s parents like you that have ruined us forever 😭🤪! I’m 24 and my friends will swipe through my go-to playlist on Spotify (yes, it’s filled with 60 Journey/S.P. songs as of today) and make fun of me for having an old lady’s taste in music 😭 I was also raised on the same 70s/80s cartoons and sitcoms that my parents watched and nothing but the music they listened to growing up. Now I perpetually mourn an era I’ve never lived through!! 😂
I was 15 yrs old when this came out it was a perfect song with my girlfriend , so many great songs came out during that time , sometimes i wish I could go back and relive some of those old times they were the best of times.
I went to this show in 1978 at Andrews amphitheater in Hawaii best show ever
I was 15 as well, this song got me hooked on Journey till this day, saw them in concert 17 times, escape tour 3 time in 3 cities. I was deeply sadden when Perry parted ways.
I was born in 1979. I was a child of the 80’s and a teen of the 90’s. I don’t complain because my “coming of age” was with Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, STP, NIN, Nirvana, etc. But the older I get (43 now), the more I see how my generation was the last to know what “cool” *really* is. Starting in the last year or so of the 90’s, music became industry manufactured garbage, with performers (because they aren’t artists) surgically enhanced Brat dolls. You though... to be a teen with Journey - I am a little envious. I would go back, anytime.
Insane vocals across the board!
I'm shocked by how many people don't know that Greg Rollie was the lead singer for Santana, sang lead on "evil ways", and "Black Magic Woman", and appeared with the band at Woodstock
I was into Santana before I've been into Journey, but I did not know the names of the guys in the band except for Carlos. I recently REALLY got into Journey by accident. Then the other day I watched the Black magic woman video on youtube. I've watched it many times before but at this time, now knowing Journey, I was like: "Woooow these two guys actually look like Neal and Gregg from Journey, the resemblance is amazing!" When I found out that these guys were actually Neal and Gregg, this was a real wtf moment. What a revelation :D
I was born in 75, so I was more familiar with their 80s stuff. Not til a month ago did I find this out, and Ive heard a few Santana songs along the way, lol
I could be wrong, but he also played the first note on organ of the first song at Woodstock on the big stage
He should be one of the two time inductees into the r&r HOF for Santana AND Journey.
Steve Antkiewicz thanks man never knew that
Gregg Rolie and Steve Perry as if singing solo wasn't incredible, together pure magic!!! I always thought Gregg was way under rated!! Plus he"s so sweet when he sings!!! Just love him!!

What i like the most of that era of Journey is the vocal harmonies between the band and great duo Perry Rollie.
Steve and Greg make a great vocal duo, it's a shame Greg left the band so early, they could have wrote so many great songs together!
+samsquanch1996 He was being phased out. The whole reason Steve was there, was because the label wanted to replace Greg as the vocalist.
+ikill4klondikebars Steve Perry. He fired everyone except Neil. Personally I'm glad that Journey is still touring and Steve is sitting at home with his thumb up his ass. They never, ever, should have given him as much power as they did. He was invited into the band after the fact. If this lineup stayed together then they'd be legendary. Instead we're left with a half ass watered down version of what could have been. Fuck Steve Perry.
+ikill4klondikebars Greg wasn't the lead vocalist. There was Robert Fleischman before Steve.
+Eric Fuhrer No, no, no. Fuck YOU! Perry brought them every bit of their success. And get your fucking facts straight! Perry never fired Rollie. Rollie LEFT and suggested Cain as his replacement! This WAS an incredible line-up but unfortunately, it's just the way that one went.
+ikill4klondikebars Wrong! Fuck I hate it when people comment when they don't know what they're talking about. Perry came in because Journey couldn't get radio play as an instrumental rock fusion band or with Robert Fleischman's shitty vocals. Rollie left on his own accord. He couldn't stand Perry's quest for control through the songwriting, etc. Herbie Herbert (their manager) was Rollie's biggest fan and begged him to stay! The record label had no other agenda than to get the band played on the radio and a hit, otherwise they threatened to drop them. Perry was their saviour!
Feels weird NOT hearing 'anytime' follow
So true :'D
My thoughts exactly! Lol
The way the album was edited made it easy for classic rock stations to put the two songs together, and that is what you hear today. And the two songs are indeed perfectly magic together.
