      Lexy Love7000 not its not, it a front aerial, you arch your back. in a suicide you don’t arch your back. maddie actually slipped and you can see it in the video

    kinda random question but what type of dancing do you do? i noticed that your terminology is very “competition dancer”ish if that makes sense lol (i.e. saying ‘pop jump’ instead of ‘sissone’ or ‘front kick’ instead of ‘battement devont’).

      I noticed that too I've been dancing pro in ballet for 2 years now so we most def have different terminology

    I’ve always heard a calypso be called a bersheracof.(wrong spelling but idk how to spell it) but I guess there’s always room to learn something new ❤️

      Blueyed _Hawkley my sister is a dancer and she has heard both terms used.
      Usually a baryshnikov (named after a famous choreographer/dancer-Mikhail Baryshnikov) is turned out most often occurring after a turn (chainé) it is more of a classical step.
      A calypso is typically in parallel occurring after a run/chassé/small sauté. This is more of a contemporary step but is sometimes seen in ballet.
      A lot of people use them interchangeably though. 💜
      I hope this helps 😁

      honestly terminology depends on which area you’re from and what school you go to. certain phrases have been popularized in certain areas

    I thought what you called Gianina's tilt was actually a develope cause tilt is when you're lifting a straight leg vs develope actually developing your leg gradually. Hope it makes sense

      MJM Kids TV I am too, I know what I said isn’t really correct but that’s what I call it

    • @alyssakaethe
      @alyssakaethe 5 лет назад

      if you want to get technical then the correct phrasing is sissone attitude. nowadays every school has slightly different terminology. for example, most competition studios use the phrase ‘calypso’ but a ballet school will use the phrase ‘coupé jeté attitude’.
