Brother!!! your enthusiasm about passing knowledge it's sooo great!! You are definitely a way next level educator, keep up that humble down to earth virtuosity at what you do💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
I love your Video's Bro! this example is smooth very nice explanation and shoot. Just guessing that you use two cameras recorded at the same time. So clever of an idea! At some point I want to get where you are in RUclips audience. And I'm one of your fans as I've learned much from your Videos. Like the Mongo Santamaria ones you've made. Right On Bro! 😎Internalize!
Another gem, thanks. I've been learning from you for years. I've committed many of your licks, tumbaos and variations to memory. I have been wondering how you choose what to play, how much you have committed to memory, does someone in the band tell you the feel they want, do you have it all worked out before you show up for practice, do you tune your drums a certain way for different gigs??? I have questions😁 Sorry if you've answered all this previously.
Love your playing and all your tutorials and insights. Thanks for sharing. Just a question if you don’t mind… I find a lot of times when I am playing percussion I use these rhythms and even basic tumbaos they fit. Are these appropriate or “politically correct”, if that’s the word, for gospel, RnB, and funk percussion?
WE LOVE TUTORIAL DAY 🎉🎉 Gracias 😊
Thank You Eric

Thanks Eric! Always helpful. You're a great teacher! What are the sizes of the drums you're playing on this? Trying to match your tuning! Thanks!
Thank you! Here I'm using 2 Congas (11.75") and 1 Tumba (12.5")
