She knows when they're moody. She's smarter than me and stays back. Lol

@@TennesseeMountainBees our other dog Stella is like that. If a bee gets in the house she'll bark and let us know where it's at (Kinda like a good bird dog or coon dog treeing) Her tone is different than of someone pulling in the yard or her seeing a squirrel out the window. Their understanding of potential harm is pretty amazing. Ain't nothing like man's best friend!

@gunlinebees.3831! Agreed! Our dog, Trudy, does the same. She seems to "tree" the honey bee inside the house to let me know so i can catch and let it out. Outside, however, she thinks they're fair game like carpenter bees and trys to catch 'em. I'm always saying "leave my honey bees alone" 😅

They grow fast and typically bloom for several weeks. Prior to planting, I turned and tilled the soil, then planted like grass seed with a walk behind spreader. That was just before a good rain or two. Had a scarecrow up for a few weeks, but the crows were were laughing at it. The clever birds got some of my sunflower seeds. Lol
