Food Sample Making Kit Ramen Noodles

- Food sample making kit series 'Sample'n Cooking'. This time, I made soy sauce ramen. The noodles and the other ingredients are made of wax, soup is made of gelatin. This isn't edible, fake food(can not eat). These food samples uses for menu sample by the most of restaurants in Japan. Food samples can carry more detailed information about the menu than simple text menu or photo menu. It's one of Japanese culture. I want to get and show you the techniques of making food samples. I bought it at Ganso Shokuhin Sample-ya, Tokyo Sky Tree Town and it costs about 2800 yen(23.5 USD).

The only thing I don't like is the plastic bowl. Seems like you could accidentally snap the rim off really. But with this I suppose you could buy your own real bowl and use it if you wanted.

There's no way to get it any cheaper unless it's a knock-off..and knock-offs are usually dangerous. Since it ships from Japan it will be much more expensive since it is over seas. Sorry. :(
