The latest 3 are terrible in their own ways so it’s hard to rank them.

Home alone and one and two are great but the other ones are bad enough where they shouldn't exist there's really only two home alones. I've watched the second one first before I saw the first one when I was little and so I intend to like the second one better and then the first one second and then three four or five and six are all tied in the third they're the worst. Reboots are always not that great. If you're doing a sequel at least have the same cast. Home alone one and two best home alone's ever.
I love the first 3 films and anything after that I didn't even bother watching. I like the part in Home Alone 2 when Harry and Marv are about to go upstairs and there's a call back to the first movie with the paint cans and Harry even asks Marv if he remembers what happened and he doesn't even remember so he has to refresh his memory buy acting it out.

Since I’ve seen all of them, with the first one being my favorite movie ever period, I just like to say that they should be ranked in the order in which they come out
I might even like Home Alone 2 more than the first. The location is awesome, the hotel staff gives another awesome dynamic to things, and the finale feels even more epic with Kevin going out of his way to help someone else at Christmas instead of just defending his own home. I love the line “Another Christmas in the trenches.”
Yeah, Home Alone 6, not only are the couple innocent, but the whole movie, we think Max stole their doll, so Max comes off as the villain until it's revealed he didn't take the doll, but until that reveal, we're wishing Kevin would brick him in the forehead, lol. Home Alone 3 starts on Jan 8th, Christmas is over . . . You can tell because kids are in school and no one talks about Christmas even with lights are up around houses (which means it's pasted November), so ether it was directed by party-pooping Atheists, or Christmas had already passed, lol. Clearly it's Jan because of lights as they're all taken down long before Feb.

Home alone: Forever classic childhood memories Home alone 2: Another classic had a good laugh with this one. Sure some jokes and moments were recycled from the first one but they still made it work. Home alone 3 : Not the same. I’ll give them points for using new characters though. Home alone 4: Why just why? Home alone 5: Stop.. Home sweet home alone: Please just fucking stop. Duncan Toy Chest was donating the money to kids Charity that’s why he wanted to stop them so badly. Got evidence 📸 🧸 💰 and had them arrested . It was an unselfish act, showing his maturity and growth from 1st film .
Yeah I guess he did have more motivation to get them caught. I was meaning the set up and structure of the story is similar to the original. It does have new lessons to be learned though

The original film never did anything for me. I saw no 2 at the cinema though and really enjoyed that one (I was 12 at the time). Never had any interest in seeing the others. I'd rather rather watch The Collector now lol.

Wouldn't it be funny if they came up with a new Home Alone, but they cast Macaulay Culkin as a grown up Kevin McCallister, as well as bringing back Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern as very old Harry and Marv? This shit would be hilarious that these old geezers known as the Wet/Sticky Bandits still haven't let go of Kevin, over 30 years later. xD But a nice setup plot would also be interesting and sad. Kevin is 40 years old, he has moved out of his parents long ago, hasn't found a partner to live with, and has lived *home alone* every day for the last 20 years. Until one night, Harry and Marv are finally being let go out of the prison, and they still haven't let go of Kevin. Due to their age, the only remaining thing on their bucket list is to get back at Kevin, not caring about anything else left in their life.

Home Alone 5 I actually really enjoyed, also quite underrated and I haven't seen Home Sweet Home Alone though I've seen a few clips and it doesn't seem awful at least. Home Alone 4 (4th it's really boring and no wow factor (Maybe a few funny mishaps. But not a good movie) 6. Home Sweet, Home Alone (I was really disappointed big-time on that movie. I've watched the trailer a partial of the movie. It was too confusing and bizarre and maybe surprised Devin Ratray came back the character. That's my only positive. 😲 surprised so many here preferred no 2 over the original . Love them both. I think the first is the best BUT .....no 2 had the funniest scene going which is when Marv gets electrocuted abd turns into that skeleton 😂 . Why isn't "Bone alone " on this list ? 😄( I think it has a different title in the US ) its 💩 home alone with dogs but Kevin Sorbo brightens up the movie entirely when he appears in the flick imitating Quint the shark hunter from Jaws
My parents have always said to me that the 1 and 2 are the best, the others are rubbish, I'll be very honest as a child I enjoyed watching the entire saga and I considered that 3 and 4 were good, not to mention 5 I expected at least to like me entertained and I ended up disappointed, but with the arrival of the most recent last year the truth made me reflect a lot about whether to continue appreciating 3 and 4 or already consider the bad ones and the truth made me hate almost the entire saga since the 3rd to the 6th and I can only say one thing, that happens because of the power of money and pleasing the new generations full of sh*t. 😐
Well, my husband and I enjoyed all three of the movies that we did watch. He was laughing I was laughing everyone was laughing in the house so it was pretty good. I thought it was a little different because they did have one of the McAllister boys on it. I think the oldest I loved it.

@10:15 I have to disagree with you sir (respectfully) about Home Alone 2 . Kevin was saving Christmas. Duncan Toy Chest was donating the money to kids Charity that’s why he wanted to stop them so badly. Got evidence 📸 🧸 💰 and had them arrested . It was an unselfish act, showing his maturity and growth from 1st film .
Yeah I guess he did have more motivation to get them caught. I was meaning the set up and structure of the story is similar to the original. It does have new lessons to be learned though

The original film never did anything for me. I saw no 2 at the cinema though and really enjoyed that one (I was 12 at the time). Never had any interest in seeing the others. I'd rather rather watch The Collector now lol.

Wouldn't it be funny if they came up with a new Home Alone, but they cast Macaulay Culkin as a grown up Kevin McCallister, as well as bringing back Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern as very old Harry and Marv? This shit would be hilarious that these old geezers known as the Wet/Sticky Bandits still haven't let go of Kevin, over 30 years later. xD
But a nice setup plot would also be interesting and sad. Kevin is 40 years old, he has moved out of his parents long ago, hasn't found a partner to live with, and has lived *home alone* every day for the last 20 years. Until one night, Harry and Marv are finally being let go out of the prison, and they still haven't let go of Kevin. Due to their age, the only remaining thing on their bucket list is to get back at Kevin, not caring about anything else left in their life.
I'd watch that in a heartbeat lol

I think Home Alone 1 and 2 are obviously the best ones with the edge going to 1 as I feel 2 while still really charming and funny does retread a lot of the same plot beats and just isn't as good as the near perfect first film! Home Alone 3 is very underrated honestly, Home Alone 4... no, just no, awful! Home Alone 5 I actually really enjoyed, also quite underrated and I haven't seen Home Sweet Home Alone though I've seen a few clips and it doesn't seem awful at least.

4. Home Alone 5: The Holiday Heist (The 5th, it was okay when I first watched it. Unfortunately, it was a little disappointing for my point of view. McDowell did great play the character. As far the other cast members their odd to me. The boy did show a lot of determination. So, my point is the movie is good, not great. Still, I might have a chance to watched it again.
5. Home Alone 4 (4th it's really boring and no wow factor (Maybe a few funny mishaps. But not a good movie)
6. Home Sweet, Home Alone (I was really disappointed big-time on that movie. I've watched the trailer a partial of the movie. It was too confusing and bizarre and maybe surprised Devin Ratray came back the character. That's my only positive. Sorry Home Alone 6, probably won't watch that film again.

😲 surprised so many here preferred no 2 over the original . Love them both. I think the first is the best BUT .....no 2 had the funniest scene going which is when Marv gets electrocuted abd turns into that skeleton 😂 . Why isn't "Bone alone " on this list ? 😄( I think it has a different title in the US ) its 💩 home alone with dogs but Kevin Sorbo brightens up the movie entirely when he appears in the flick imitating Quint the shark hunter from Jaws

My parents have always said to me that the 1 and 2 are the best, the others are rubbish, I'll be very honest as a child I enjoyed watching the entire saga and I considered that 3 and 4 were good, not to mention 5 I expected at least to like me entertained and I ended up disappointed, but with the arrival of the most recent last year the truth made me reflect a lot about whether to continue appreciating 3 and 4 or already consider the bad ones and the truth made me hate almost the entire saga since the 3rd to the 6th and I can only say one thing, that happens because of the power of money and pleasing the new generations full of sh*t. 😐

Well, my husband and I enjoyed all three of the movies that we did watch. He was laughing I was laughing everyone was laughing in the house so it was pretty good. I thought it was a little different because they did have one of the McAllister boys on it. I think the oldest I loved it.
