You aren't getting much spread on the shotgun because it has a choke on it. A choke narrows the spread, concentrating it into a smaller area. This is also probably why you were one-shotting so many zombies; they were getting blasted with everything the shotgun could put out.
i guess i'll just say this now, i really love this content. it didn't change my life, but it gives such an odd and comforting sense of solace, and i can't help but adore it. something about watching an interesting, cool person play interesting, cool games really helps me feel happy. i'm glad i can share this weird comfort in creepiness with this channel and its viewers.
Nice video as always, a couple tips for anyone surviving on Knox County right now: - It seems like they reduced the chances to find a Sledgehammer even more in order for us to learn Smithing and forge it ourselves, there are separated recipes outside magazines we can find including cooking, carving and of course, blacksmithing. - Now we can tear down fences and mesh walls from the gun stores with the welding torch (and the mask required).
Guns have kick back irl so shooting a shotgun in game is probably giving a lot of kick back which is how ur getting muscle strain the choke also gives a smaller spread so probably the same in game
I believe that you being at breaking point at 7:45 is because you had a nightmare, I've been dealing with it almost every single night in game in 42 pretty much which is quite annoying but I think its because you went to sleep while stressed which from what I've seen has led to it happening more frequently.
I’ve woken up panicked almost every time, but I don’t think I’ve woken up at max stress before. Or at least I have no way to tell because I’m playing with smoker and fear of blood so I’m max stress and sadness at all times.
Pro tip for aiming in build 42: zoom in to aim better, it makes the crosshair shrink further and have better accuracy, like your character is focusing their view.
Could be useful to craft molotovs to deal with the zombies. I'd reckon that throwing bottles into the hordes would be more effected than trying to get them all to walk into a campfire and run into each other. Throwing molotivs at the zombies could let the fire spread outward from the horde.
This would be a nice idea if fire didn't spread as wildly as it does, making the area you're trying to clear zombies out of destroyed and useless. Oh, nevermind, I see the situation you're referring to: wide open grass with at most a bunch of car wrecks. Yeah, some molotovs would go hard in this case.
doubt you'll see this and you might've figured this out cause i'm only 7 minutes in but, in build 42 it seems that having a fear of blood makes it so looting anything off a zombie raises your stress to max instantly, i'm doing my own playthrough and it's taken me about a ingame week to figure that out, and i'm probably never gonna play with that trait again because i love graverobbing
Sleepyhead (I assume thats what the perk is that's making you so tired, unless there's a new one I didn't know of) is known as one of the worst traits you can take,m just because of how tired you get.
@38:18 does the debug mode still works? At Steam right click on the game to open its "Properties..." . In the "General" tab write: -debug The game has to be restarted. It could be easier to get a specific item with the debug mode as searching for a suited mod.
Please fix your inventory!!! You can slide the tabs between item and Category by mousing over it and holding down click to make it so the item name side is bigger then category. Sorry its driving me nuts. It will let you see if an item has a sub label, like worn, or will let you see the number of items clearly. Also, when checking out random cars, if the trunk is locked, you can find the bottom to unlock it on the dashboard. Some of the Vans you passed might actually have your Sledge.
yknow, i dont really think much changed in kentucky after the apocalypse... also imagine playing this with sprinters 💀 btw driving makes you tired faster and with the trait its even worse just so you know
Hey you yes you person that's randomly looking at my comment. how's your day? have you drinking water in the last 15 minutes? I'm asking this because there needs to be more kind people in the world. I don't expect to be bombarded by likes or replies I'm doing this because well I just want to know if you're having a good day and because as kid president once said "if we make today awesome for somebody we will make today awesome for everybody" (I'm not sure if you're going to see this librarian but if you do can you pin it I want this to be the first message that anybody in this comment section sees)
You aren't getting much spread on the shotgun because it has a choke on it. A choke narrows the spread, concentrating it into a smaller area. This is also probably why you were one-shotting so many zombies; they were getting blasted with everything the shotgun could put out.
Shotguns also just work much more realistically than they used to, so the shotguns are going to feel like they have less spread.
Hello everyonnnnnnee, welcome back, once again, too the comment section
Perfect video to watch right when I get off work. Got some pizza and retreated to my apartment like a hermit.

So glad this series isn't going to end just because you got to Louisville. Looking forward to many more episodes. 👍
The journey of a mechanic resigned to his eventual fate who just wants to golf before he's inevitably mauled.
One tip, for some reason. Every zombie killed will make a noise in a very high radius, basically leading any zombies in your region to you.
I absolutely love these kinds of game videos!!
Be careful traveling, you may never know when you have to bail on supplies…
You're a such a wise man

if you want to continue past louisville, i would suggest trying to fortify a sustainable base in that area, maybe even set up a farm.
