- It's another showdown, Solo Stove vs Breeo but this time it's the Solo Stove 2.0 vs the Breeo Y Series. We reviewed the Breeo Y series and are huge fans of the innovation. The Solo Stove 2.0 takes ease of cleaning a fire pit to the next level with the removable ash tray. Overall we are fans of the Solo Stove as well as the Breeo. Ultimately we like the Breeo more because it's made in the good old US of A. What are your thoughts on the Solo Stove vs Breeo?

Thanks for your reviews, they are brilliant. The radiant heat all going upwards issue is a BIG deal. For many of us when the legs/feet are cold the body is cold. What is the point of a fire if you are still cold? A simple deflector would be nice, but the solo one is close to the point where you can't see the fire at all. I would like it if the breeo outback system became a hoop that held interchangeable accessories - a sear plate, a wok, grilling grate, a downward pointing deflector cone.
Great review thank you!
Just curious where in Louisiana you live. We just watched your video on the Solo Stove Ranger 2.0 and it reminded me of our friend’s backyard in New Orleans.
Keep up the great work
I'm in Metairie! Thanks for the kind words
Our friends used to live right down the street from Jefferson Downs and were a block away from Lake Ponchatrain.
I live about an hour from Lancaster PA and would love to get a Breeo but the price difference of not only the stove, but the accessories is a big factor. Good to hear they are both deck safe now.
I went for it, it's worth it. I live close as well and I've been trying to buy American any chance so when I heard Lancaster I pulled the trigger. I know the price is steep but using both breeo wins.
The first setting is stow setting. Second level of Breeo is the burn pit and third is grill.
Do you have to wash these out? Can you?
Do you think the breeo will come out with a heat deflector? Great comparison…made in the USA is for me…but I love the idea of more radiant heat.
Breeo just released an adjustable heat deflector!
@@MrColbyE AWESOME!! Thanks for the update!!
Which one is better for toasting mallows. The world needs to know.
I’ll report back
Both Solo is better
Breeo & Solo Dethroned by "Amicus"
The Y is a flimsy piece of shit. The legs wobble like hell. Is it worth $495? Nope. And Breeos lifetime warranty is a joke. They cover 5 years against rusting through. What a life time...
I would not hesitate buying the cheaper ones from competitors. In the end they all work and last the same.
No one cares about price per pound, they care about the extra $150 for a deck fire!
"Solo Stove Dethroned?" Seriously, have the Solo ever been a top contender? It looks so cheaply made.
