Came for the review. Stayed for the guy. It was a true joy to both listen to him and watch him. More videos like these would be blessings.
Love your videos. Wish we were neighbors. We love the tiki pit as well. Have a safe new years and great 2023!
Wow.... I'm sold on this fire pit... and thank you thank you THANK YOU for being an articulate intelligent gentleman....
Thank you. There's not a lot of review videos about this fire pit yet on RUclips so it was nice to see a brief but thorough one. Liked and subscribed!
Great video! Thanks for reviewing this I love the look of it over something like the Solo Stove
Excellent thorough review! Thank you for comparing with the Solo.
Great review. I've gotten tired of checking and running out to fill propane tanks. I've been eyeing this one for a while. The emptying tray and ''smokeless'' selling points are great.
Well done video, thank you! Looking forward to using our Tiki fire pit soon.
Dude, did you notice the skunk running along your fenceline?
I love the skunk running by in the background at the beginning! And the fire pit too:)
SKUNK SIGHTING AT 0:23!
The nice thing about smoke is that it keeps mosquitos away!
True but it stinks up your house for days.. nobody has the energy after a late night fire to put your clothes in the washer as bad as it sounds lol😊
Thanks for the unboxing and review. I'm looking to buy one also. Like you said the aesthetics of this Tiki Fire Pit look a lot better than other brands.
Very cool. I love your patio too
Love the quality of the video, SUBSCRIBED!
That fire pack is impressive I need to buy some
Very informative!! Thank you for your demonstration 👍
Nice backyard.
Nice video! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for this review! By far the best I've seen on this fire pit. I've been really wanting to get this, but have been on the fence between the Breeo for durability and the Tiki for convenience sake. How do you feel about the durability of the tiki fp long term? Do you anticipate this fire pit will last many years? Also is it still pretty simple to light a fire without the pellets, using just wood?
Awesome review, thank you! Just ordered one in the limited cactus green color...can't wait to fire it up!! 👍
Where did you order it? I'd like a green one!
@@munozyoshi I ordered it on the Tiki website.
Excellent Job!!
Great review! You just made up my mind for me! Gonna order this right now.
You will love it!
Thanks so much for the great review
Great video, thanks!
Love your kid!
Great review!
That burns nice
Thank man. Appreciate it
Great job
Great video! Could you do a update of your fire pit.
Thanks a lot .
I just ordered one. I've preferred propane firepits in the past, but with the "smokeless" technology now available I thought I'd try a wood firepit. Also, the propane ones have gotten really expensive, a few hundred dollars now. Plus, no fun running out of propane in the middle of a party!
thanks for such a helpful review! nicely done video, too. Do the legs of the fire pit get hot?
Great review.
They were sold out for a long while, but I just looked and there in stock. Ordered! Thanks for the great video!
Mine arrived. After watching your video and seeing the minor challenge of flipping the fire pit to install the base I opened the box upside down in order to more easily screw on the base while the fire pit remained in the box with the bottom facing up. The box has instructions to open it right side up which I obviously did not do thanks to your video. It all worked out nicely. Thanks again for the vid!
Watched a few smokeless pit videos and kept thinking "no ash pan, no interest" and then I watch your video and problem solved. And as Mr. Singh said, your demeanor adds greatly to the experience.
Amicus Fire Pits are modular in design so the ash pan is super easy to clean. You can find it my channel...give it a look and maybe some feedback.
I was not aware of this model. Great review - looks like a very cool option, compared to the other brands out there.
Thank you for such a great review! How did it hold up through the winter?
I really put it to work and it never disappointed me, always a huge blaze.
Question, if you could answer it . . . How is the radiant heat coming off the sides? A lot of these smokeless fire pits throw a lot of heat straight up, but don't seem to put out heat to the sides, meaning sitting next to them in winter is somewhat useless compared to a standard fire pit.
Thank you so much for your time!
That's actually a valid point, and I tend to agree with you, this fire pit definitely throws a lot of heat upward but it still radiate outward enough to keep me my wife our son warm, the trick is to keep the fire big.
I too live in the Northeast (New England region) and have been thinking of purchasing one of these fire pits. Do you find with the smokeless technology burns wood quicker since more oxygen is being added? Any cons of this fire pit you can think of? Thanks!
Thanks for the great overview. How high does it sit off the ground? I have a bluestone patio and I'm a bit worried about it cracking the stone from the heat on the bottom. Thanks
About 5 inches of the ground I've had to place my hands under it while the blaze was going, wasn't super hot considering. Must have something to do with heat rising or something. To be safe you can place it on pavers.
Hey man great video. You just saved me $800.
Great, now can I borrow $800
We have one but use pellets from lowes.. a 40# pound bag of pellets is $6 there
Can you remove the cone and burn only pellets?
Hi, since it's semi open to the sides, in the outer shell, do you feel a lot of radiant heat out on the sides down low or is it lika most wood gas stoves that pushes almost all the heat upwards (for good and bad)?
Sorta, the fire is so big it can help but radiate outwards
Excellent video; it might’ve witched me from buying the Solo bonfire. However, what happened to adding in wood logs? I’d like to see it burning actual wood logs. Did you run out of time or forgot?
At 17:42 you can see a log in the pit.
how far away can you feel the heat from?
Nice looking alternative to Solo or Breeo. Does it require a cover when not in use?
Not really since it is stainless steel but since it comes with a really nice cover I used it.
Not really since it's made of stainless steel, but the cover that it came it is so nice I tend to use the cover when I'm not burning a fire
Love your review. I am interested in this. Any thoughts on using this on a covered deck? The roof is about 8 feet above the deck surface. Just wondering how hot it would get at that distance. Thanks
Oh no, absolutely not. Too much heat
Also, would love to know how your Tiki is holding up?
So far great, I use it a couple weeks ago and I am still impressed with how it works.
How long does that bag of pellets last?
Do you need a heat shield to protect your patio or is it far enough off the ground that it doesn't require one?
No heat shield necessary
once the pellets got it hot, could you just drop in logs to keep it going at the correct temp for no smoke?
Yup
The pellets don’t need to be involved to begin with.
When using the wood logs did it let out a lot of smoke or more or less the same ...and also what kind of logs did you use if I may ask
It let off very little smoke when I first added the logs but almost nothing after the first 10 minutes. I don't know what kind of wood it was, I got it from road side farm.

Thank you so much
Who has this and would they recommend buying it. Or should I get something else
How does the wood chips burn? And did you final add more wood?
lol, watch until the end, you can see the log there
Hey i love your videos! And i'm wondering if our company's product could show up in you channel? Please notice this message
Was that a skunk running in the background? lol nice fire pit!
So it's large enough to use regular old firewood? No need to buy the smaller cuts of wood?
Yes but I still cut my logs
I have read several comments about the ash tray being difficult to pull out. Have you had that problem?
Honestly not at all, mine slides back and forth easily, once it cools off I use a little brush to get all of the Ash to fall through the holes and clean up is easy after that.
0:22 Was that a skunk?
LOL I think it was, only uncertainty is that it was during the day.
Maybe a possum
Looks great! I'm sure the exterior gets pretty hot but is it cooler than the Solo or Breeo? Asking because I have small kids.
Very very hot, especially after the first 5 to 7 minute, my 10 year old loves making smores but I don't let him get too close and absolutely no horseplay during a burn.
@@teckinmylifebyeuanhenry1353 thanks for the tip. I may go the route of building a brick enclosure if I get one.
I just got one and it's awesome... But how do u personally turn it off? Just let fire die down or do u wet it? Do they sell a lid?
I just let it die out.
There are lids available on Amazon. Some people just use metal trash can lids, too.
What size of Solo Stove would this Tiki fire pit be comparable to?
Probably the solo Bonfire, is it's most comparable competition the Tiki is around 24in but the opening is only around 20 in
Can you feel the heat sitting around it? Is it alot of it heat or a little?
Absolutely
Get yourself a wireless mic.... good review. Thanks.
Sorry.... that was rude....what meant to say was....CORDLESS MIC BRAH!
How far away does the heat spread ? How far are you sitting? TIA
4 to 6 ft is ideal
Did you notice the skunk walk through in the beginning?
Yeah lol
Ha ha! I did too
Great info. Did the bottom created heat that can cause damage to the patio?
Not at all
is this pit smokeless?
sorta, you may get a little when you first start a burn but once it gets going no smoke
Hi guy question ? Is it as smokeless as it appears?
Yes it is, however something when I first light it up there may be a little smoke but once the fire is going, no smoke at all.
Does it let off a lot of heat?
Absolutely, within 4 to 6 ft radius very warm.
@@teckinmylifebyeuanhenry1353 I'm also curious about this, as the Solo Stove and Breeo reviews talk about very little radiant heat coming from these style fire pits. Will it keep you warm on a winter day a few feet away?
@@graceowsley5 seriously on the fence between Solo and Breeo on this one factor. This tiki pit is nice especially with the ashtray. Did you end up buying one?
😳😳 was there a skunk passing by the trees, under your fence @0:23 in the background?
It seems small. Do you find it too small
"that's what she said" but seriously it's a pretty good size but most importantly is puts of a lot of heat and I think that's what most important.
Can you burn bulk store bought pellets in the fire pit? The Tiki Fire Packs are pricey and Tiki would not give me a straight answer when I asked this question. I would think if you can use their pellets in a pack you should be able to burn loose bulk purchased pellets as well. After all once the pack starts burning the pellets fall out and burn so what's the difference besides lighting them to start the fire. Tiki was no help, they want you to buy their pellet packs (which are expensive compared to the others you can buy just about anyplace).
Yes, I do, I bought two bags from Home Depot for around $7, it's more difficult to light but once you get a good fire going everything you put into the fire pit ignite's fairly quickly
@@teckinmylifebyeuanhenry1353 Thank you very much. Appreciate your answering this. I like the Tiki but their fuel is too expensive (for me) to use. I don't wan't a wood burner because of the wood storage and the smoke, they stink! I am also considering a propane fire pit. Easy to use and no storage issues. I'm in the process of fixing up my yard so I still have time to consider pellet or propane.
@@teckinmylifebyeuanhenry1353 I did not have luck making my own bags and I hate to pay for the branded one. I'd love a follow-up video on your DIY pellet pack. Thank you for this great video.
I just got one of these. Their bag is nice & easy and I imagine if you put another one of their bags on as an addition, it would probably work fine.
For the bulk - I got 40lbs bags from TSC - used some fluid to get them started, was going great. The problem is when adding additional loose pelleted. Even just a small amount. Smoke smoke smoke - like a LOT, until the pellets ignite which can take 5 minutes or more even when adding to existing flaming hot pellets…
@@Ncoastjack Thanks for the info. I haven't bought one yet. Still looking at other options. I see that pellet pits are somewhat finicky and can produce smoke if not attended to correctly. But then again so do wood fires. Personally I don't want something that needs baby sitting or creates a ton of smoke! It's supposed to be something you enjoy.
was that a skunk in the background!?!?
what is that behind you near the fence at 0:22??
great video...thanks
Yeah it's a skunk, I wasn't the only one stinking up this video.
Now Out of Stock, darn!
These "smokeless" fire pits seem to push the packaged wood pellets. You can have a smokeless fire in anything with wood pellets. Unfortunate situation for all of these smokeless fire pits is.... if you burn wood, you need to have that thing burning aggressively for the catalytic smokeless burn to work. Extremely hot and aggressive for a leisurely patio fire.
These “smokeless” fire pits are intended for use with dry, seasoned logs. The pellet packs are marketed towards John Q Homeowner & millennial types, in my opinion.
@@Icutmetal I would go with the Breeo for the heavy duty steel.... the sides actually generate heat so you feel something while sitting next to it. I decided not to have any backyard fire pit. I have a wood burning stove going 24/7 all winter so I get my fire fix this way. Also, I would like to discourage my adult children using my home as a resort vacation property while we travel and adding the fire pit adds more worry for me. :)
Was it me! Or was that a skunk in backround
Am I the only one that saw the Skunk in the background? :20
Lol, no you are not the only one.
all that and no comment on the smoke?
You didn’t watch the video?
Wierd to think that wood smoke is a crude form of fuel
It is?
Made in China
What's with the stupid jerky movements pack that foolishness in
Nice troll.
Useless. Didn't review the pit or how well it actually works
