Derek, a few things i learned from rigging heavy textile machinery that may help you for future lifts with the forklift, the forks can be removed and reinstalled upside down on the rails. if you also remove the pallet load backrest, it allows the forklift to start its lift from a lower point on the mast. This gives better control for the engine lift, also the mast goes up a shorter distance and your ceiling fans are safe. lastly, if you drill a 3/4 or 1" ~12" in from the tip centered on the fork you can use it for a lifting hook to more safely attach chain. Alternately, when the forks and backrest are reinstalled correctly after your engine pick is complete, the hole in the fork can be used to install a ball hitch to move cars or trailers.

Derek, brother, I love your channel partly because I learn something from each one, but also I so enjoy the way you so easily weave your family into the video. Cherish those moments! My son is grown, married, and has a son on the way. I have so many memories of working on projects with my son. Not only do we get to cherish those moments, they do too! Your son will follow in your footprints and brother, you’re doing a fine job! I don’t normally comment on videos but when I saw you hug your son…….it touched my heart!
Great to have a buddy to help and bounce ideas off of. Why not pull the cab off the frame to repair the frame? Understand not wanting to buy more tires but realistically you’ll find another project to use those tires on in the near future. It’s great to watch and listen to you while you’re doing these projects.

Yes, I have found the same thing! I wonder how much of the boost is from doing stuff together, how much is from doing different stuff, and how much is from the morale boost you get from facing a challenge with a trusted friend. Cheers!

Measurin and words is hard for a feller, I totally understand!😁Nice treat for a Tuesday morning Vice Grip video, AWESOME!!
Dave is the man! He has such a wealth of knowledge and skill. He fits right in with Derek's humor as well. I love seeing them working together.
Yeah double the fun this week!🎉
Dave is the man.
Oh boy me and little man were just settling in for an evening show and ill be dipped
Two of my favorite car guys in one place... what a way cap a Tuesday. Thanks fellers. All the best to you are yours.
You guys inspire me. We have a 9 year old grandson who is a born mechanic. Would love to do something like this with him
Thanks Derek
Jeez Derek, I just started to watch a movie. Now I have to pause it and watch this, the Derek- Bentley comedy hour!
I was kind of bummed when the Friday video ended before they started work. Seeing this pop up was an amazing surprise. A feller is always keeping another feller on his toes!
Breaking new ground every episode - Love it!
Glad to see you being able to toodle around the farm and do your thing with the family and a friend. Keep up the good work. Really enjoy the content.
Hello everyone from Buffalo Niagara Falls NY USA 👋🇺🇲
Derek has blessed us with a video on a Monday
But it's Monday??????!!!!!!
Monday uploads almost always seem to mean Fridays upload will be even better
Annnnnd that’s awsome😂😂😂
Nah it is Tuesday
Iksnay on the day o' the weekay
Don’t complain 😂
A guy's getting spoiled this week!
A guys Monday just got better!
A guy just wants to say thank you.
Ooo yeah my son and I really appreciate and enjoy derek and his family I'm proud of Bentley and little grip garage the little humans kicking some tail so all I can say is well done little dude keep it going...
as a guy who typically does project-work solo.... yeah it BLOWS MY MIND how much more gets done when just one more person is working-along. 1+1=7 for some reason.
Yes, I have found the same thing! I wonder how much of the boost is from doing stuff together, how much is from doing different stuff, and how much is from the morale boost you get from facing a challenge with a trusted friend. Cheers!

From $37K to $45K that's the minimum range of profit return every week I thinks it's not a bad one for me, now I have enough to pay bills and take care of my family.
Sounds interesting. I was planning to invest some few £ in some coins, stack them up and leave them for a few years, but seeing this changed my mindset. Thank you very much
Derrick love all your videos found you a few years back was trying to put a lift on my 92 k1500 and the instructions were confusing me. Watched your video multiple times to get it installed. Now I'm about to rebuild my first motor has been in the back of my grandfathers shop since before I was born. Thanks for all you do for the car community.
