I would jump all over an acoustic album! Not to mention a massive double live album with all their best versions from the past few years. That’s an automatic "take my money."
This session also had Sinister Smiles (my favorite, includes Ale's falsetto harmony), Red Hands (short but awesome), and Hunter (bass!). You can see and hear the greatness in Dany's vocals already. Check 'em out!!!
Yes each tune in this set was great but Ale's bass on 'Hunter' is something else, especially that it's an acoustic bass, a bit harder to play in general
The video you were seeing at the end "Pau Plays The Piano" is a great solo 3 song performance that you will love. Just Pau, and the family piano, and it is GREAT!!! Please do a full reaction...Please!!
Seeing them doing stuff like this really shows their absolute mastery of the moments. They melt into the moment and blend it into something beyond magical. Their sense of timing, harmonies, and the passion and love for the music is ... pure, genuine, and transcendent. Wow!
Don't you just want a four album set - "The Warning: Unplugged - entire catalog" ... Even a 'Best Of.' It would be a killer double album, at a minimum.😎
Deffo do the other 3 songs from this hometown Monterrey hotel lobby session. All of them rock. Sinister Smiles is prob my fav from it. There is even a BTS from this. The End was the calmest of the session. When they did the big 3 full production shows in 2023, they went back to this venue. It has a nice hotel attached and many that went to the M&G, took their picture here for a souvenir.
I want an acoustic album as well Zack. Does not matter where they are, how they choose to perform any song these Ladies ooze talent all over the place. Thanks, love this and the reaction.
Out of all their older songs in my honest opinion this is one of the best and underrated song in their discography.. I really see the song could have been a big hit
Drumming and singing wasn't challenging enough so she did it standing on one foot. Lol There is 3 more songs from this set I highly recommend them all. I call it backwards set, Pau standing Ale, Dany sitting and on the wrong sides, acoustic guitars, electric drum.
If you haven't seen that one that you pointed out with Pau on the piano, watch it! It's raw and hauntingly beautiful with the lighting & just a piano. Oh & Dany was already an Uma Thurman character (she was The Bride from Kill Bill with the yellow jumpsuit) from when they did a Halloween show a few years ago.(Ale was Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz & I think Pau was a Power Ranger). 😁⚡🤘
I love how everything is reversed in this presentation, Dany and Ale are sitting while Pau is the one standing, and Dany and Ale switching sides. They NEED to do a full acoustic show, not just 3 or 5 songs like they do most of the time.
Yes, I LOVE that bass. But most of their acoustic sets are on the road so she just uses her Spector. There’s plenty of acoustics. This, London Private Show, Sofar, the radio station parking lot show, all Dany’s insta-lives. & Dany has done a The Warning show dressed as “the bride” from Kill Bill if that counts😉 ruclips.net/video/mjP4EcmxS-c/видео.htmlsi=Fov5rysnVvC_5ut4
I want them to do a new full recorded concert of the Queen of the Murder Scene album, like they did at the Lunario, now that they've matured. I love the Lunario concert, but the sound was "iffy". Their team is much more professional now, as shown by the TM and PC concerts.
Luv Ale's harmony " they stay with me, they don't go away" - so cool. They left out Dany's solo but, that's alright. Did you catch where Ale went to a wrong fret and sheepishly looked and smiled at Dany? Too cute. 🤙⚡️🤘
This is very stripped back. I like it, but I really like the Lunario version best. Dany's crystal-clear, David Gilmour like solo bits on that are phenomenal, and Pau's voice is totally in character. Plus, the setting is amazing. By comparison, this looks like a very early, still in development living room demo.
If you like their acoustic versions (who doesn't) you should check out 'Escapism' at the WDHA Radio Parking Lot Party in New Jersey. My only beef with it is that it has to end 😉
Cracks me up when Dany and Ale get a little out of time at the beginning and just look at each other. And Miss perfect, Miss Ale made a mistake. Yes she did and she smirked. She is human. Time stamp about 3:52, if anyone cares.
I would say that only Pau and Ale need to play this. It could just be those two and it would be perfect. No drums, just the bass, and Pau singing and Ale harmonizing. ❤️⚡🤘
More a-cue-stick from The Warning? Check Rob Watson's fancam of the entire Sofar Sounds set. Sofar has only officially released Burnout, but Rob's audio is incredible. Link here: ruclips.net/video/I6xu6bXFDq0/видео.html
Zack asking for more acoustic, and there are 3 videos right there on the screen. Two more from this set and one from the Sofar set. Not sure how many acoustic songs / versions they have but I am betting it is well over 20. Even more if you include the UK private show, and the Canadian show without Ale. I don't really count those myself. They are awesome, but so much of it is off-the-cuff and not proper performances.
I was right. Quick search and I have found 22 acoustic songs without going through the two shows I mentioned. So, over 1/3 of their catalog has been done acoustic.
The 4 songs they did in this setting are just awesome.
I would jump all over an acoustic album! Not to mention a massive double live album with all their best versions from the past few years. That’s an automatic "take my money."
It would be nice if someone would start another series like MTV Unplugged and have The Warning on one of the episodes.
It would be a perfect re-launch for MTV Unplugged, NGL.
This session also had Sinister Smiles (my favorite, includes Ale's falsetto harmony), Red Hands (short but awesome), and Hunter (bass!). You can see and hear the greatness in Dany's vocals already. Check 'em out!!!
I totally agree, they're all good from this session but Sinister Smiles is fantastic! ⚡🤘
The acoustic Sinister Smiles is THE definitive version of the song for me, it's just fantastic IMHO.
Yes each tune in this set was great but Ale's bass on 'Hunter' is something else, especially that it's an acoustic bass, a bit harder to play in general
There are four of these - all great. They are doing a lot more acoustic stuff online.
I have a hard time believing how well DPA can perform live.
This is incredible.

Totally agree, their acoustic versions are so beautiful. It would be amazing to have an acoustic LP from The Warning.

This Monterey hotel session is a gem❤
Do you know which hotel is that?
@ThisIsACall don't recall the name , it in the videos description
I absolutely LOVE these acoustic versions. My favorite version of "Sinister Smiles" is from this acoustic performance.
Yee an accustic album with their current songs would slap, instant buy.
I want an acoustic album as well Zack. Does not matter where they are, how they choose to perform any song these Ladies ooze talent all over the place. Thanks, love this and the reaction.
Hi, "good old Zack", a good morning starts in the morning... they are really something else!
Yes - a lot of bands, I wouldn't be so interested in getting acoustic versions - The Warning!?...oh yeah!, every day!❤️⚡️💯
Everything from this session was awesome. And the new acoustic (and short) version of "Enter Sandman" they (minus Pau) did on RTL2 is great.
That Sofar set is really good. Top left of the screen at the end.
After a cover album, with rerecordings of all of their old covers, an acoustic album is next on my wish list.
Out of all their older songs in my honest opinion this is one of the best and underrated song in their discography.. I really see the song could have been a big hit
The Warning!!
Oh, there's Halloween footage of them in costume. I think Dany was The Bride, however.
Yup Ale was Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz and Pau was a ‘Pau’wer Ranger?
Great listen, Zac. Yeah, I share the same sentiments, an all acoustic would be great. Keep Rockin' my friend 🤘⚡🤘
Drumming and singing wasn't challenging enough so she did it standing on one foot. Lol

At the Sofar in London all acoustic.

Love this version.

I'd be willing to spend a lot to see that!

I always think that Pau's left leg must've been really sore after these? She's incredible though, isn't she?
If you like their acoustic versions (who doesn't) you should check out 'Escapism' at the WDHA Radio Parking Lot Party in New Jersey. My only beef with it is that it has to end 😉
Love this acoustic version, though I miss Dany’s mournful solo. 😎👍
❤✌🤘⚡🔥
⚠️❣️⚡️❤️🔥⚡️❣️⚠️
Check out Sinister Smiles from the same session. best version ever!
Cracks me up when Dany and Ale get a little out of time at the beginning and just look at each other. And Miss perfect, Miss Ale made a mistake. Yes she did and she smirked. She is human. Time stamp about 3:52, if anyone cares.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤘🤘🤘
