'Bugs' González before being the drummer for Los Lobos he was the drummer for Jumbo. Beto Ramos (Pau's drum teacher) currently plays drums for Jumbo.
Before Jumbo, Beto played drums for Los Claxons. Pablo González, Ale's bass teacher and mentor of the band, is the bassist for Los Claxons.
    Six degrees of separation. ⚡🇲🇽⚡

I loved hearing Dany say that, since the drums have no notes, the piano is necessary for Pau to write music. It makes perfect sense, but I'd never thought about it.

Great reaction G&A. Just like Buggs predicted "It's only a matter of time" l think he meant wait until the rest of the world catches up to you and witness your mastery of your craft. It's evident that the world is catching up to DPA and they are living their dream to keep playing for more fans around the world.

La Bamba was the "B" side of Richie Valens' 45 rpm hit single Donna in about 1958. It ended up being the song everyone remembers him by.

TW has cultivated many personal relationships within the Mexican music community, especially Rock, and certainly the local Monterrey community. Some became mentors, others just friends and supporters. You can tells that they are not comfortable with receiving praise, especially Dany.

Met Los Lobos a couple of decades ago before Bugs joined. Great people. They were recording a set for XM much like the girls did recently. A fantastic band to hear in a recording studio. They had been touring so they played a very tight set. Had a flawless copy of the set burned on digital tape and CD but lost the tape to a house fire. Great to hear a band perfectly recorded and mastered with zero compression. XM has an absurdly good studio in Washington that bands rent to record albums. Love the recordings I obtained from that era. I dont own them so i cant share which sucks since music that good deserves to be shared. One of the things i love about the Warning. They share. Mom and Dad raised the girls right.

This series may be some of Pau's most important lessons. Buggs is such a compassionate human and was totally taken by DPA's talents.
I got choked up several times later on in the series. Bug's love for music and his knowledge of the industry were invaluable to the girls.
I can only imagine the tips he gave them that didn't end up on camera.
Thanks again guys for these nuggets of the past....:)

@@solarvanlife8177 That was the best part of the videos, the advice that he gave them and the drumming lesson he gave to Pau, she was laser focused on him when he was drumming. I am glad that it was recorded for posterity. And also the part of him watching them playing the piano end singing, he was blown away by that.

Los Lobos are a hispanic rock band from Los Angeles. At the time this was recorded TW was having several different well known rockers come to visit them in their basement studio aka The Warning Cave. They were also visited by Jay de la Cueva, lead guitarist of the Mexican band Moderatto, who is still friends with them. John Moyer of Disturbed was another visitor. TW’s dad owned a studio in Monterrey and is well connected.

I like hearing about their songwriting process. It seems like Pau (usually) starts out with the bare bones of the song, and when they work together on it they are able to create the parts they each play so that nobody overshadows anyone else (although I would like to see Paulo just once do a drum solo).
One suggestion- sorry if you’re already aware of this but there Erick Alderete has a page with a lot of TW videos including some interviews. He has a video of them opening for Muse, that contains the famous scene where while playing ’Z’ Ale loses her balance, falls over backwards (she doesn’t get hurt) and keeps playing without missing a beat.
