- Enrique Gonzalez aka Bugs visits us at our home studio to talk about music life. Enrique is from our hometown of Monterrey, was the drummer for a band named JUMBO before he went to Los Angeles and became the drummer for the legendary band Los Lobos.

Everything that Bugs expressed he was feeling is pretty much the same way I felt when I first watched the second performance on Ted Talks. I was mind blown. Watching Pau kill the drums in that video sold me into keeping in tune with The Warning. I had watched the Enter Sandman video a while back and lost touch. Then the Ted Talks video was recommended and I was floored at how much they've grown musically. That led me to watch other videos and that's all I needed. I'm now a proud fan of The Warning and they're my favorite band. Rock on The Warning!! 🤘👍

These girls are the next best thing in music. Their talent is evident, the skills, the musicality is there, the chemistry... So young and so complete and cohesive together... That's why I love this band.
Ale, Dani and Pau, never stop! You girls are certainly on your ways to the top.

I thought the same exact thing when I first heard The Warning, They are truly unique, their own. I first thought to myself was Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, and Neil Peart of RUSH. My all-time favorite. Then Dani answered David Gilmore! to a fan question.
Each member of this band is uniquely powerful and my favorite. It's so cool their parents raised so well. Thank you for being what's most important. Being so very inspiring. It's like magical.

Comparing the girls to members of Rush is high praise coming from a career professional drummer - bravo! 🙂
The first that I heard this band play their own work my comment here was- Are we looking at the next Rush?
I know what he means about "Survive" _ that was the song that blew me away and made me a fan.
The second song I listened to was "Unmendable" _ that blew me away and made me a fanatic. ;-)
He's right - I'm 47 and feels what he feels - The way that "Survive " builds as it progresses is symbolic to The Warning's career - only they are at the opening notes - cheers
I REALLY enjoyed , and agree, with Bugs evaluation. I share his comments, and enthusiasm. Gender, ethnicity, age, nor pigment determine character. Don't know these people, but I love them. Wish the world were filled with their love of life; work ethic, and passion. \m/ ☆ ☆\m/
Awesome video, I totally agree with what Enrique said about the way Survive builds at the end, it's such a perfect song and it's why it was the first song of yours I learned to play, can't wait for part 2

Ya sabía que a éste yo lo conocía (Bugs de la banda JUMBO) buena banda y muy buenos musicos de Monterrey. Aquí en Ciudad de México pegaron mucho JUMBO.
Ele falou exatamente o que todos sentimos vendo e ouvindo a banda. Foi surpreendido com a força musical da banda. Dá pra sentir as influências e a energia da musica delas. Quem tem mais de 50 percebe. Um mix perfeito de som e estou completamente embevecido. As vezes soa como o Heavy Metal dos anos 70/80 renovado e isso é bom demais.

These girls are really that amazing that even the older guys like me, 48, that grew up with classic rock, and in a different time. Can relate to these girls, "they are that good" at such a young age. Becoming legends already. And their energy, just breaks through the roof. Come on, look at Bugs reaction, that's exactly what I'm talking about.

Wow, I don´t know why I haven't seen this: I'm a huge fan of the early albums of Jumbo (Restaurant and DD y ponle play) I always wondered where some of their memebers went. Like if there were not enough reasons to like the Warning

He’s the drummer for los lobos they are pretty well known Mexican band from Cali… he’s their mentor and family friend
