When Mel said in 2021, hopefully things will be better really broke my heart after hearing of her passing. You can tell she had a great bond with her daughter. My heart breaks for her children, Puffin, and Kelsee. I hope looking back at these videos makes them smile one day.

This was my favorite video by you Mel. Seeing you giggling with your daughter reminded me of when I would do my sister's makeup and we'd be giggling together. She also passed away suddenly 3 years ago. I'm so sorry for your family's loss. You were such a wonderful person. Love from a silent viewer.
I too had to come back and watch this. It was my absolute FAVORITE of any of her videos. We love you Mel and I just know God is going to hold all your sweet babies and your husband in the palm of his hand while they are getting through this 💔💔💔. My heart is broken I can’t imagine their pain but I want them to know there is a MEL ARMY praying for them right now 🙏. RIP Beauty 💗💗💗

Watching this today is really painful. My heart goes out to Mel’s loved ones especially her children. I do hope that her daughter finds some comfort watching this one day. I lost my mom two years ago suddenly and unexpectedly, and I know how hard it is. Going through photos and videos at first can be very hard :( There’s nothing worse than losing a mother. If any of Mel’s children will ever read this, I just want you to know that my heart goes out to you ❤️ Sending you much love and healing ❤️
Watching this now is breaking my heart! What a beautiful young lady. Mel's spirit will forever live on in her children. 💜 We all miss Mel so much.

These are treasured moments. So hard to lose your mother so young. I hope she knows that her spirit will always be around her. When my mother passed my brother was just 15. And then he lost his father 2 years later. With just a thought they are beside you. Bless her, knowing how her mom raised her, from just seeing how they interact. She'll probably take on that mommy role and help her brothers and sisters. What a web we weave throughout our life. We can always see reflections of ourselves in each other. Especially whenever we take the time to reflect. I will never forget someone telling me oh don't worry it gets easier. I cried every day for 3 years after I lost my mom. And then I went three days without crying. And I want one week. And I miss that one up. Then I finally made it a month. Nothing in this world can replace our mother's. That Bond so beautiful. We are tethered in life and we are tethered in death. Losing the physical becoming the spiritual. Such an amazing experience we go through. Life.... Living.. loving.

Such a lovely, fun day between this mother and daughter...no one could have imagined or guessed that not even one year later, this sweet young lady would lose her mom so tragically and suddenly. This was the first time since Mel passed away that I've even been able to summon the courage to watch one of my favorite videos of hers. What a loving Mama and wife, talented beyond compare MUA, and a vibrant light in the sometimes dark beauty world we all lost.

rest in peace, i couldn’t catch her daughters name, but i hope you allow yourself to mourn, and i’m glad you have these videos of your mom happy doing bee passions (and sharing them with you) to look back on. you guys have a great bond and are so funny together (young mom vibes are the best :)), and that’ll live on in your cells forever. be on the lookout for signs as well... when i was 3 years old, my paternal grandmother (who died when i was 1) channeled herself through me while on the phone with my father.

I was hesitant to do another Mel video after watching WG's tribute and crying earlier today but oddly, this is making me feel better watching her w/her daughter. I used Tiny marvels the other day just to pay tribute to the best palette I own. As another commenter mentioned, at least her kids will have these videos to visit her whenever they like.

She won my heart. One of the first video's I watched was her appreciation in regards to a call she received from Wayne Goss. She was overjoyed that he even knew her and was moved to tears. Seems so sweet her last video featured his pallet. She is a beautiful example of a kind person expressing so much gratitude. Completely amazing woman. Very inspiring especially considering how she struggled with her health.
