Great info. used this on a DTF transfer that I had test washed about 5 times and it still worked. The technique was very helpful but I ended up using regular acetone due to being such a large garment to remove the film from.
You are so welcome, thank you for supporting the channel! While we have not tested with that specific transfer the principles of the solvent should behave the same. My only concern would be how the poly responds to the application so testing is advised on the material before hand to see
Can you please show us you applying a new transfer after removing a transfer and no film cuts? I would assume with the chemical on the tee the new transfer wouldn’t stick that well. Please do it on a white tee. It looks amazing.
Hello - the garment used in the video was originally applied a little over a month before removal with good results. Testing will always be advised to see how your exact conditions respond
That's a great question! Testing would definitely be advised to see how it responds but in theory it's addressing the same adhesive. Results may vary but this is not confirmed at this time
Hello, at this time we have only tested with heat transfer vinyl and direct to film transfers that have been applied for successful removal. Always exercise caution when testing new applications in your workspace
Hello, for our testing we were using a poly cotton blended sweater but the same principles should apply. Some material like what you described may be more sensitive to discoloration from the solvent so we advise testing on a piece of your fabric to see how it responds to be sure

Hello, while both items are solvents to my knowledge no testing has been documented using acetone for the purposes outlined in this instructional video
