Hi Jen just discovered your site and think it’s really cool. I am modelling a modern era for my layout so my locos are electric and diesel with two heritage steam engines.
Nice one Jen. It would appear that Black Fives gravitate towards you. Please leave a few for the rest of us 😉Enjoy what's left of the summer and longer days by getting out and about. If I was a betting man I'd guess at least one more Black Five will be drawn to you by the end of the year. It's good that another diesel has joined the layout, they just don't get the love that steam gets. So many of them have gone under the cutting touch much in the same way as many steam locomotives did. Diesels and electrics need saving as well. Many thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed. I went last week and spent 4 hrs in the cathredral watching the layout and had lunch. Good purchases too. Its so so good to watch and also operate (big kid !!) ❤❤

Not far at all. Chester Model Centre have a large sales stand at the end of making Tracks too which has masses of stock....and the shop itself is a 5 to 10 minute walk from the cathedral depending on how quick you walk. Hope you have a great time.

Great locomotive!! But it’s not really used on the railway anymore apart from heritage railways!! We have one with the Scots Terrier on the side.

My interaction with Chester model centre was nothing short of terrible, would never recommend them to anyone
