Nice set. I guess you can't place the first cup inside the second cup due to the handles rather than on the top. One tip that occurred to me is to pop an elastic band around the cup to hold the handles in place while not in use so they don't flap about. Though an elastic band would take away from the look rather. But it would make putting it back in the pouch easier.
Hey, nice bottle! What can you say about the lid and how easy it is to open when it had warm water in it and it cooled down for example and therefor harder to open? It looks a bit too smooth to me. Guess I would prefer some knurled lid or something with a better grip due to its shape or milled surface. Have you noticed any issues with that? Greetings!
They were selling something like 40 pounds in the UK while in the US they are $158 dollars! I noticed even the sports bottle 24 ounces is significantly less in the UK. I got taxed on mine but I really enjoy it. The next comparable ones were boundless which is $140 USD.
Hey, no prob's buddy. Before you do though - are you sure the round one isn't worth sticking with? If you have a nesting cup that would work a treat surely? Make sure you definitely need the canteen set and not just buying it because it looks cool? I paid only £36.00 for each set in an amazing sale but I would not pay over £100.00 for the set if I had to buy again UNLESS I was hiking long distances or out for days at a time and seriously needed to reduce weight. Just food for thought my friend. Best wishes, Des
I wouldn’t want CAMO either. Makes a cheap statement for the price of that bit of kit. I wonder if the yank military canteen stove would fit it. Brilliant product. In reality, it should be worth it considering how essential a canteen set is for camping.
So I have been thinking about picking one of these up for a while I pulled the trigger on it and it's great the only thing that is weird is there an internal lip that stops the last bit of water from coming out like the neck of the canteen comes down past it's shoulders by almost a centimetre you can feel it with you finger (by feeling the inside the bottleneck, the very bottom part) , does yours have that or is mine a lemon? Keep up the good work
Yes, you're right - ridiculous price tbh. However, I managed to pick one up in a crazy promotion for a fraction of that price so I bought two. Appreciate you dropping by. ATB, Des
Hiya buddy. I'm the first to admit that I'm not the sharpest tool in the box but what would be the point when there's a spare one sitting on the bench next to me? Surely, this would give a better indication as to how both would fit together on the canteen (i.e. noise, rattles), the fact that the top and bottom of the canteen are different shapes so would it actually work if paired together, a better idea as to the overall size of the combined unit, etc? @@21stcenturycaveman33 - They made in China, if yes that serious money. Titanium is expensive but not by that much!!!
You understand that to test whether second cup would fit on top you could've just used one cup? Like just put the cup on top instead of the bottom. :D
