Although I don’t agree with everything you have said, especially on the draft(I would prefer more OL depth),the quality of this video is amazing. Earned a new sub.
Hey that's perfectly fair, and I think there are so many different ways to build this football team, especially when you have Charlie's Chocolate Factory at your disposal money wise, and I do wonder myself and right after I finished this about the line depth especially with the uncertainties and injuries they have had, so that's something I will have to look at especially when I do another one after the season, but thanks man for the holla and kind words! 🔥
I want the number 1 pick, and draft Travis Hunter! He’s hands down the best player in this draft! LT go hard after Garrett Boles, no way Denver with all that Russell Wilson money will be able to resign him! The rest of the draft should be heavy defense! Middle linebacker, pass rusher, corner, nose tackle, and safety are all areas of need!
I am having a hard time projecting which team is number 1, but for me which ever team is number 1, I would take Travis Hunter over a QB 100%!!! I completely agree, he is the best player in this draft! If NE is able to get him, that would be insane too, cause then I wouldn't have to go WR in the 2nd as well.
Yeah that's very true, and I certainly am on board with that strategy especially if you can not get a guy like Garett Bolles, than absolutely it's sign sealed and delivered you go OT.
Tee Higgins is not going to come to NE, he’s also not a number 1, that’s a ridiculous contract for a guy who isn’t going to add wins. They need to draft wr and o line. Sign a tight end, sign some edge rushers and a corner
I could put Will Campbell in instead of Mason Graham, get a receiver in the 2nd like Evan Stewart. Personally I am higher on Graham, but Campbell is a great prospect as well, ultimately their are many ways this team could go depending on their free agency strategy. I will say tho, I could see Tee coming to NE. They have big money to pay him, he would also be the number 1 guy in NE too, so it wouldn't shock me if they could be the team to get it done. It is a lot of money, mainly because receivers get paid especially if he's in free agency there will be a bidding war, but Edge rushers, corners will also be expensive to sign too, so no matter what, they just need to find guys they feel great about and be strategic about it.
@@mknewlan67 Yeah that's something that's probably tough to get away with in the locker room, so I think how they look at the 2nd half of the season will be huge for coach Mayo!
Idk for one...i definitely think they'll be worst than number 4. personally I don't mind them going defensive heavy in the draft, but not getting a single OL doesn't sit well with me. Even if we do find a quality OL through FA, I'm still not trusting that core to stay healthy long enough when it matters. Also the Peppers situation might not end well either, so i would definitely draft a safety
I definitely agree with about the safety position! I felt a little uncomfortable with the whole situation, and it certainly could be something that the Pats move on from after this court date, but it's just tough right now until we know more information. I knew I was going to get some push back on the OL thing, and while I also cringe a bit at that, at the same time, they have invested pretty heavily in mid round picks for the line over the past couple of drafts. Sometimes you just have to keep throwing picks at it, but at some point I feel like if it's not working than there is something wrong internally, so I would seriously look at the coaching and health and conditioning right now over anything first and foremost! I also think in the actual draft I see them going tackle, maybe receiver depending on free agency in the actual draft, just would make sense, but I personally just like defense at the top of the draft between Hunter, Graham, Morrison, Johnson would be my picks.
Honestly , love the strategy, dont love the stewart pick at all. We have enough small receivers that haven’t had their upside checked yet. Love the Tee higgins signing, if he isnt available id love to trade that 2nd for a vet receiver like metcalf or draft Tet mcmillan with our first pick to put some size in that receiver room😊
Yeah I am typically with yah on receivers that are thin, but for some reason I think Stewart is different. I have been wrong on some receivers in the past so that's a bias of mine, so I think that's a good idea forsure! Just imagine Higgins and McMillan, that's even got a good ring to it! Or trading back and getting Bond, Egbuka, Burden, are all options as well, obviously trading back is easier said then done, but definitely possible. Thanks tho for the thoughts and holla 🤜🤛
Pretty idealistic! The key to your draft is getting the two free agent offensive linemen. How old is that left tackle from Denver? I'd rather draft a left tackle first, trade up for a receiver back into the first. Still, if it shakes out the way you lay it out, the Patriots will be up for most improved team. John McHatton
What up John! But I will say that Bolles is 32 will be 33 next season; however, I feel like he's one of those guys that can play later into his career. He's been super durable, don't want to jinx him or nothing, but he's been Mr. Reliable and he's super athletic and technical, so he should be able to maintain a lot of his skills like Whitworth did. That is a total projection tho, so I can see the concern, and is a valid argument. I think there are multiple ways they can go into this draft, and I really think it just depends where they are picking. This class is really good defensively at the top end, so I would lean that route, but I also think Will Campbell is a great player to take as well.
I love it! I have Benjamin Morrison #1 on my board so I would love to get him but he’s not exactly a need. Tee Higgins as a big physical Wr 1 and Stewart as a route running get the first down type of guy at the 2 and pop as a rac flats and slants guy at slot is a really good group of guys for drake! I don’t think this is a great offensive line class so I’m okay not reaching for any. I do think the Bryson Nesbit pick is a little iffy. I’d rather go Safety or IOL there. I also was never a fan of the Mayo signing for HC, would have much rather had the Texans offensive coordinator or Mike Vrabel. I think Drake has looked great so far in what’s been asked of him. Would love a high end RB in this class because of how good it is, once again not a huge need it’s just such a good class.
🔥🔥🔥 I LOVE MORRISON MAN!!! I really wouldn't hate it if they got him especially if they could manage to trade down since the injury might foolishly drop him and be able to have the best press man duo in the league with CG and BM. Also love that your Benjamin as well! 😁 That's exactly what I was thinking with the receiver room, low key I think that would be insane and all of a sudden could be the best group they have had in a long time. Yeah I don't hate that argument. I may of went a little for the storyline their. I don't mind Nesbit personally, I am actually kind of a fan but he is more of a big receiver than a tight end. I really do like this tight end class, so that's another reason I went for one their, but I do agree that could be a good spot to take an interior player or safety especially if Andrews retires or Peppers get released! So far I have been a little underwhelmed with Mayo, I understand living up to Bill Belichick is going to be tough in NE, but it just looks like a completely different football team out on defense now especially. They have had many injuries, so I don't want to give up on him, it's just a bit concerning you go from one of the best run defenses to one of the worst in 1 season, even with injuries Belichick probably would not of let that happen, again maybe one of the best coaches, probably the best coach of this generation, so tough to compare. I am with yah as a Jets fan, I want Bobby Slowik or Ben Johnson BIG TIME!! Vrabel would be nice as well!
I just felt good about the tackle position having Wallace and Lowe as swing guys, but I certainly have no problem with that. You can always take chances on the line especially with the amount of injuries they have had. I almost took an interior player instead, just felt like why not double down in a good running back class and make sure we fill out the room.
Yeah he's a great special teams guy and definitely someone they should keep period! I'll say this, at least NE always seems to have great special teams guys.
26 mil for a 33 year old mediocre Left Tackle is insane… Rather Draft that Left Tackle and pay that money somewhere else Don’t bring Johnathan back.. He’s done, we need another top CB
I do think they could go Tackle with there top pick very easy, ultimately I just went with who I thought was kinda the top player who I think could be available in Graham and planned the draft around going defense early. I also think they could go Morrison or Johnson if they wanted to secure that CB duo. With Garett Bolles I will say he’s been super reliable through his career. He’s an extremely athletic guy and still more athletic than most tackles even being 32, so I don’t think that’s a knock with him personally. I don’t see why he can’t be a Trent Williams, Andrew Whitworth type that play into their later 30’s. There is a risk, but there’s always a risk no matter who your getting whether it’s going draft route or free agency.
Ah my bad, I just was looking on Spotrac, and they had him listed as a free agent, but must of just missed that one. He definitely deserved that extension tho, dude is a beast!!
I am a bit high on Stewart! I think he's a first rounder, but I understand I am WAY biased about Evan Stewart. He is certainly going to be one of those draft crushes from me.
Stop being dramatic. The Patriots were ass forever before TB and Bill then they won 6 SB’s. Look at the Lions currently; ass forever now they are probably 10+ wins every year.
I've seen a lot of dumb takes before. And somehow the combined amount of nonsense that came from those takes, doesn't even come close to half of the nonsense of yours
I don't bet, but I would bet that the Pats will win 9 games in a season at some point. It may not be immediate, but it will happen again unless they relocate the team lol, which I think would be extremely unlikely any time soon. I understand the frustration tho as a Jets fan!!!!

@@bagtea Take that too, they’ll take a QB! We still get Travis Hunter!

Tackle first round period. We’ve needed L tackles for like 5 years now enough
