    I love the fox logo it's so you! You love art so show our creative side! I love the clip in the beginning... The reason I started to watch you is because your personally is so genuine and you're my FAVORITE youtuber!
    Do what you want girly! 😁💕
    Ps YES I hate clickbaity titles... they get me kinda low key mad lol 😁

    I'm so glad I'm not the only one who doesn't like clickbait titles. I mean, I know it's the norm for RUclips, but I still find it annoying because...idk, it's almost like it's tricking me into watching the video, you know? And as to revamping your channel, I say go for it! I love the way you have it now, but I know it's so exciting to redesign your blog/channel. I'm excited to see what you do with it!

    Muppets Christmas Carol is Top 5 on my list of favorite Christmas movies.
    Click bait is not something I click on.
    I love your channel but I tune in for your content more than the art and such.
    Kudos for sticking to vlogmas we tried but missed a few days.

    I can definitely see where you are coming from with wanting to have a visually pleasing channel. I am a graphic design major, so seeing something visual stunning is everything to me. I also understand with what you’re saying about the click bait, but I think you can really have both. You can make your videos visually appealing, but you can also make your titles and thumbnail true to your videos!

    • @emilyjunemarie2900

      Clickbait videos do annoy me a little. If I can tell that it’s clickbait by the title and thumbnail I usually don’t click on it. But if I find out through the vid I get frustrated a little bit more and usually click off or just finish the whole vid.

    So I think the thing with click bait titles is that, yes, I may watch the one video but I probably won't subscribe or watch any more videos from them. I love your channel because you are so sweet and genuine and if you're doing thing for fun and click baits bother you, there's no reason for that! Do what makes you happy! I think if you did end up starting click bait style titles, it's going to make you start to hate your channel, and probably, eventually stop caring as much about your content!

  • @emilysallengs

    On Clickbait - I think you're right that you just assume it will happen but honestly, with you and other people I subscribe to, I'm going to watch new videos regardless and clickbait is kinda funny. But its kind of annoying wanting to watch a video about one thing and then getting 5 minutes in and realizing it's just somebody talking about nothing important to you or doing stuff that is irrelevant to what you want to watch. I love your little theme song at the beginning too! Its iconic!!

  • @kristinmorehead1335
    @kristinmorehead1335 5 лет назад

    It's funny that you bring this topic up because a few days ago I was thinking how whenever I see a video of yours in my subscription box the hear your intro song in my head. I think for subscribers your intro song has become a part of your "brand" or something we think of when we think of you and your videos. As a subscriber we tend to get set in our ways of loving a channel for certain reasons and that's what brings us back and has us continually watching peoples videos. I know for me a few of my favorite youtube channels recently revamped their channels and the styles of their videos because they weren't happy with the content they were putting up on their channels. And while in the beginning I didn't like the new format of videos what continually brings me back to watching their videos now is that I love their personalities and keeping up with their lives and have now grown to like their new format of videos. People are always going to take time to get used to change, but at the end of the day you are the creator of this content and you have to love what you are putting up as much as we love to watch what you are putting up. I originally began watching your videos because I was going through some serious Disney withdrawals, but I have continued to watch your videos because I love your personality, how simple and down to earth you and your videos are in comparison to all the other crazy content that is being put up on youtube, and I want to continue to keep up with whats going on with your life. No matter what you end up doing I'm sure myself and many others will continue watching your videos for you no matter what the style of video may be. Create the videos you want to create :)

    I love your little song/intro in your videos because it really screams you and it makes me happy! and YES clickbait titles bother me a lot but I think really depends on what the title is. If the title of this video was "my problems with youtube", I don't think I would be too bothered because you did actually talk about that in the video. I like to know what the videos are actually about!

    If you are definitely thinking about rebranding yourself, I would watch some videos on Adobe Live from other content creators or branding experts. They point out things you never would even think about needing to consider when you brand / re-brand yourself.

    Hey! First off I love your channel! I love your theme song! It like brings back fond memories of watching your videos for over a year now! The revamp would be cool! I would love to see your designs!! Clickbait titles bother me for sure! I just want to know what’s going to happen and if it’s worth my time! So I always love your video titles!

  • @jkell07

    i agree with you on the clickbait - it's frustrating and unnecessary to me, but i understand that it helps creators grow on the platform. i can imagine there's a lot of pressure to buy into that stuff. that being said, once i am loyal to a creator and watch all their videos (you're one of them) i'll watch your videos regardless of the title. i think revamping your channel would be fun, though! i like what you've been doing but it's always fun to change things up. and you're such a creative person, i think it would be fun to work on making it exactly how you want! watching you through vlogmas has been so fun and i am so glad you decided to continue posting after coming home from disney. i started watching you for disney content, but i kept watching for sarabeth! i hope your channel continues to grow because i know people will love you!

  • @allisonhochstetler2949

    I love the little song. Honestly, that's when I'm like, ok now I'm watching a Sarabeth vlog, not when I see the logo. So I would love to see you keep the song, but if you want to change the look, I say go for it!
    Also, I totally agree with you about the click bait stuff! Annoying yet I still click on it. I would rather people just say exactly what is in their vlog, but I still click on the video nonetheless. If I like the youtuber I'm going to watch the video!

    I could see you doing a revamp since you aren’t at Disney all the time. It could be your chance to work Jack into the channel like you talked about in the live vlog! I love your intro song but I would do what you feel is right. The titles are great it’s like my other youtubers I follow I know what they will be about. You do a great job and being yourself and letting us into your life is why we watch. Believe in yourself because we love watching your life. You’re amazing and I’m glad you kept vlogging after Disney!

    I love your intro song and I would keep it. You are so real and genuine and that is why people watch you. Stay original and change what makes sense. As far as art for thumb nails look at Mayim Bialik's thumbnails. I looked at my feed and hers stand out. Look around and see what stands out to you and you like. I think the thumbnail grabs people's attention first. As far as clickbait I would stay away from that however, the more interesting and detailed you can make your title with truth helps get the videos in people's feed. I feel RUclips puts videos into my feed from people I am not subscribed to based on key words in the title (this can get you more subscribers). A longer and more detailed title I think gives you a better chance of people seeing your videos. Also, the notification bell is a great way for smaller channels make it in newsfeeds so maybe kindly remind people at the end of the video to turn on the notification bell. I love your channel and I am sure what changes you make are going to be great as long as you stick to who you are. ❤️

    I love your song and your channel look but I also completely get wanting a change! It’s kind of like rearranging your bedroom, once you move it around it feels so fresh!
    Click bait annoys me for the same reasons!!! I always know that the video will not be about what it says it will be about (especially with certain channels) but I still end up watching the video anyway!!

  • @lucygibson812

    I would love to see a room tour!! Clickbait titles don’t bother me at all! Do what you want! People don’t know it’s clickbait until they watch the video, then you still might get more views.

    @mickaelaleong1654 5 лет назад

    You are such an artist person, anything you do to change your channel will be great!! You can change your song or intro however you want❤️
    And to answer your question, click bait titles drive me crazy.. I always feel the way you do of it's definitely click bait, but what if it's true and then I'm annoyed when it's not true, or when it's actually just click bait. lol

  • @Pandaide

    Hiiiii! Okay i feel like i have a lot to say haha because this is a great topic! firstly, ive been watching your videos forever hahaa so hi and also i finally have free time with winter so i can lurk on peoples videos YAYYY
    Regarding whether i think it's wrong- yes but it depends on context for me. if it's in a negative sense like a youtube trying to start drama or get clicks off a scandal or something, i feel like that's in bad taste. as long as the creator does indeed acknowledge the content they mention, i feel like i dont get upset unless its REALLY off and exaggerated but i dont think im subscribed to channels that do that.
    I totally get what you mean about being misleading but as someone who was an english major, as writers, we learn that the title is EVERYTHING so while i dont approve of maliciously being deceitful, i can respect a youtuber for wanting to get their video out there. i really think it's about context and the youtuber also because for me- i only ever MIGHT get ticked off by that if it's a youtuber that already is... idk like problematic? but like i said, i dont think im subscribed to channels that i wouldn't want to watch (if that makes sense)
    also (wow omg i need to catch my breath lol) as a youtube content creator who did the DCP, a PI and has worked for WDW (still do actually haha)- i recently decided to have my channel undergo a transformation. there were a LOT of factors- i wanted to have the freedom to explore other things im passionate about and express my interest without fear, i wanted to put some space between me and the disney content (because i needed a break tbh and mostly because as someone who wants to stay with the company professionally, i needed to step away from potentially tarnishing my reputation with them) but also because honestly.... i just wanted change. and change is TOTALLY okay and it's such a good thing. needed, in fact.
    i mean when i think of youtubers that ive been subscribed to since high school (holy crap almost 10 years wtf), they all have had to revamp, redesign and retarget their focus/content and yeah not every subscriber for the may have accepted it easily but they've grown overall from it and their loyal viewers (like me), have continued to keep up with it and respect that
    lastly
    omg
    im so SORRY FOR THIS NOVEL- IM VERY PASSIONATE ABOUT THIS TOPIC (obviously lmao)
    i just feel strongly because i have had those exact thoughts (but more extreme i guess?) for months now with having finally let myself embrace a new side of youtube for my channel. i went from ONLY disney related content (where honestly i felt a little wedged and i wasn't very happy with the disney community anymore) to exploring things that make me, well me. i now do anime content because it's a huge part of my life and i am going to start jumping into video games.
    it was hard from me to go from "i made this channel namely for disney purposes" to.... "i guess this is my channel and i can do whatever i want with it" and it was so scary and i was nervous of what people i knew in real life would say or what viewers that only subscribed for DCP advice (which was a huge part of my subscriber count) would think and hey- im SOOOOOOOO much happier now like i cant even begin to tell you how liberating it feels to always be uploading things that im actually crazy and excited about!
    finding your identity within youtube as a creator is hard because you feel like you're in a routine and it's hard to pick something when your channel, just like you as a person, will always be growing so i do think it's good to consider these feelings, where they're coming from and allowing yourself and your videos/thumbnail/whatever it be to grow along with you as you continue to step into new chapters of your life
    okay im so sorry jeez
    i can honestly say i dont think ive ever writtent this much on a comment before my b

    I think a revamp would be a great transition from dcp to post dcp vlogs. I love the song and hope you keep it but it wouldn’t bother me if you didn’t. And I totally agree with your take on click bait titles. I totally click on them and then am disappointed when they aren’t what the title suggested.

    I really like the song! But I’m sure it’s gets annoying after hearing it all the time while editing! I’m excited for the new change! I love your channel and have been watching for about a year now and you’re one of my favorite youtubers. I totally get what you mean about click bate I feel like it makes the actual video so underwhelming because the title makes it seem like it’s going to be something that it’s not and I’m always more disappointed with a click bate video because I come in with a certain expectation of something that it’s not at all.

    Personally the song doesn’t really matter that much to me. I think it’s classic to your channel, but if you want to change it go for it! I really love how your thumbnails have always been so simple and unique to you. I think if you do decide to change it, still stick with something simpler so it still goes along with your channel. But really thumbnails aren’t what ultimately grab me to the videos. You are! As for click bait i really get annoyed by it. If I’m not already subscribed to someone who uses it, i tend to stay away from watching those videos. I like to know what I’m going to get from the video rather than having to wait out the entire video to realize it was just click bait. So i wouldn’t go that route. Stick with the stuff that is true to you, and the viewers will come as they start to know you! I’d rather have quality viewers who actually care about who you are than people who just want to watch the click bait drama. But i know whatever you decide to do will be great! I love your chatty life updates!

    Your channel (song, logo) really says YOU and is different from anything else out there. I wouldn’t change it. I don’t like clickbait either, but if I generally watch that person’s videos, I’ll still click. If every title is clickbait from a certain person, I’ll eventually quit watching. I hope you build your channel by posting regularly! I’ve enjoyed Vlogmas!

  • @travisemerson933
    @travisemerson933 5 лет назад

    I like your titling scheme better than the clickbait titles. In your example I would be less likely to click on "my problem with RUclips" as compared to what you went with.
    Ok, final opinion: I think you should use the fox ears from your title card as a "stamp" for a corner of dead space in your thumbnails.
    Any title or thumbnail you choose someone's gonna click, someone's not, I hope you find the balance to get more clicks without losing your you, cause I like your you

  • @heidiskewes2001
    @heidiskewes2001 5 лет назад

    tbh I kinda steer clear from obvious clickbait titles because they’re never even close to what happens and they’re barely ever that interesting overall. I like yours because you just say it how it is and I’d be more likely to click on them because they’re more real so probably more fun to watch because I don’t have this false expectation in mind of what it’s supposed to be like due to the clickbait title ya feel

  • @FromMountainstotheMouse
    @FromMountainstotheMouse 5 лет назад

    click bait really doesn’t bother me as long as it truly has something to do with the vlog. if it’s a video of a story about a CM getting yelled at by a guest and the leader not making a big deal out of it but it’s called “THE STORY OF ME ALMOST GETTING TERMED” that really irks me but if it’s legit a story of someone almost getting termed then I don’t mind the “click bait”. if it’s 100% relevant to the vlog, then yes, use the click bait to get your views and subs!! but I dislike when people reel you in and the video is nothing like what the title leads it to be! if you would have called this video “my issues with youtube..” it would’ve made total sense to me because that is what you legitimately talk about in the video so it wouldn’t have bothered me at all, personally!!

  • @rachelschermann5410
    @rachelschermann5410 5 лет назад

    I would sayy keep the theme song and the fox they are so cute and happy i love it! butttt for the thumbnails I would love to see you change it up, get creative, and show off your art skills. clickbait is a no from me- it’s frustrating spending your time watching a video and never reaching the part you want to see. especially if you have a gut feeling about something DO NOT do it !! it’s important to stay true to you on this platform and that’s how u will gain followers :) wishing you the best!
