Really cool that some kids get a chance to live on a sail boat. Wish I had been one of those kids! Thank you.

Use seawater to wash off bird droppings, much more effective than fresh water. Then rinse off with fresh water. Also do some more singing and play the guitar, love that. Happy sailing and fair winds.

Yeah, I hear that about the birds. If I would have known you were on a mooring ball I could have kept a watch out for you, maybe next time. Safe travels and look forward to seeing your next video.

They're sneaky,.right?! Appreciate the offer. All rinsed off fine though. Loren and Rivers just had to hear me grumble about it for a day.

How prophetic number 8 showed up so much in the video even with the knots 8, 88 videos and tied to the 8 ball. This is all new beginning... nice to begin the year 2020 with a new beginning

This is very deep because it is the year of 5780 the letter/number PEY which means
This is the year that we need to really be cautious about what we speak. We should always be cautious by what we speak but this is the year of PEY.
      The Meaning of Pey
The word Peh () means “mouth” and by extension, “word,” “expression,” “vocalization,” “speech,” and “breath.” In the order of the Hebrew alphabet, Pey follows the letter 'Ayin, suggesting the priority of the eyes (i.e., understanding, awareness) before verbal expression (negatively, reversing this order results in "blind consumption" or mindless chatter). The chokhmah (wise one) is swift to observe and then to offer an opinion about something. 'Ayin gives insight, but it is the peh (mouth) that gives insight expression.

Wow, that was quick. You guys did such a good job on this video it was over before I realized it.
A little advise for leaving your boat unattended. Get a roll of visqueen (plastic sheeting), you can get a roll of 10mil thickness at 20'x 100' for less than $50. Then lay it over your deck and secure it down (or tie it down). When you get back simply pull it off and discard in the dumpster. I did it all the time when my parents had a cabin on the lake because I got tired of washing all the crap off the boat every time. There's enough to do it a number of times.

Hope you guys are having a great start to the new year? Looked like Rivers enjoyed the train and stole a little spotlight at the annual gig.
Until our adventures cross, fair winds and full sails.

So far, very good! It's been extremely windy over in the Bahamas so we've been really putting our stuff to the test. Getting more and more south though? Hope you had a great New year as well!

@@SailAwayVlog Just curious if you will be utilizing (My Island Wifi) as an internet service option while in the bahamas :) Also, ...if not you might let us know in a section of an upcoming video, :) myislandwifi.com/

No, we switched our cell provider to GoogleFi and got the Google Pixel phones. We got an unlimited data package and we've been using them for hotspots. It's been working great so far and our overall cost is only a little more than what our cellphone plan was previously.

Your netting is close to invisible just a short distance from the boat. I am glad you have it for your situation...especially the dog...they fall off boats when nobody is around all the time. I'm sure it helps with Rivers too....

    • @SailAwayVlog
      @SailAwayVlog  4 года назад

Yeah, that's the main reason we searched around to find the blue...much easier to look through than white. Helps with toys too! Lol.

2:50 That was a fun walk! :) Rivers has a great imagination! I almost thought that was an original by you at 0:22 so I found your resource and checked out Wine Nation and a few other artists (Thank you) BTW I also thought why wouldn't he make an original for his intro,. :) #challengeaccepted ??? :) I want to hear you sing more while under sail and anchored. You inspire me, Thanks!

Very well could be. We're not sure how old our canvas is. Boat is 14 years but I don't think the canvas is that old...it's otherwise in pretty good shape. Thanks for watching!
