Yeah absolutely. It’s just another medium and I recommend doing the assignments in whatever medium you want to master. I do recommend trying at least a little physical sculpting too even to those who will work primarily in digital.

Those wrinkle exercises look incredibly daunting. Seems important though.
Definitely complicated but when you break it down it’s easier than you might think.

It isnt required, but it will help you see forms, volumes and proportions better.
I found that sculpting taught me the importance of weight balance in models too and (figure) drawing made my sculptures more dynamic
