I love the ideas of the daily mantras based on the moon phases! I think I want this deck! I think I would just use it as a daily thing - pull the card for the moon phase that day and go over it. Possibly do the ritual that it has on it. If I have the stone it suggests, work with it. And of course, repeat the mantra a few times. So, I would keep this deck in order, definitely. I wouldn't use it like a normal oracle deck. This one is definitely on my wishlist now! Might be the next one I get.
Great video and yes, so glad we have this! I agree with you on the glossy card stock. The artwork is beautiful and I love the write ups on the back. Looking forward to walking through the full cycle with the help of these cards!
They definitely seem to lend towards giving information more than straight oracle decks and I quite like that about these! Working through them day by day should give me a stronger feel for the whole cycle of the moon! :)
I am so excited about this deck! It's everything I've been looking for. The other moon decks are okay, but they were more complicated than what I needed/wanted...all I want is a daily lunar deck to guide my manifestations and this is perfect! I have the Wild Medicine Herb Deck by Tamed Wild Apothecary & I absolutely love it! The card stock is great (in my opinion), the images are beautiful, & on the back of each card is a bunch of fantastic info on each plant. The info given is diverse as well, some about medicinal use, magickal use, myth & lore, & much more. It really is a wonderful deck that I'm surprised we don't see more of. Now this moon deck was still in the making the last I checked so I'm super excited to see its finished & ready for purchase... yay! THANKS KELLY FOR THE WALKTHROUGH 😁
It's a wet and windy August day here near London.. I was just thinking "What I need is a cup of tea and to snuggle up with a video from Kelly".. lo and behold.. (Mind you, I did that yesterday and ended up spending $44 on a deck!) I completely agree about crediting the artist on a deck. It is, after all, in most instances the Images that we draw from! What if the cards don't line up? For instance the new moon is on the 2nd of October this year and if that's card one my full moon lands on the 16th but it's on the 17th online and the newer new moon isn't till Nov 1 when my cards say it falls on Oct 30th.... So I'm just very confused. Thanks so much for your video tho it is still very helpful.
Just came across your video, and wondered if you still find yourself using this deck, or ended up enjoying it. My pet peeve is typos, which I found plenty of in this deck, but the most difficult thing to me is that the 28 cards don't match up with the actual moon cycle. Though the cards are in order, I have to be careful to skip some days in order to keep up along with the moon cycle, which is disappointing since I really wanted a daily practice. If you don't skip, you end up ahead by a day or even 2, and it causes me to have to keep double checking, or do extra work to plan ahead what card to use, or whether to skip, on which dates. Grrr!
I do not us this deck for reasons you noted and had gotten another deck from them that was a real problem with typos or misprinted titles, etc. It is too bad as the artwork is lovely!

Its on its way, import fees paid so its in the UK counting the sleeps till it arrives but fingers crossed it might be here by the full moon :)

I actually have this one in possession as a loan from my friend Patrick and I think it's gorgeous, VERY much RWS, and riffle shuffles like a dream, there are some surprising images that are quite powerful. It's not one that I plan on getting but it was neat to take a look at it!

I do love the daily mantras so far, I put a sleeve in my planner and have been changing it out every day, so far I'm really enjoying it!

My box is very hard to open as well. I have the deluxe moon app and it tells you the moon cycle number everyday. I love this deck. ❤️
