I remember this deck from years ago. Back when HollyASMR used to do videos on Tarot before she decided to change her channel to just ASMR only videos. I was considering getting it but I totally forgot about it. Great walk-through of this deck.
I know I've seen it before and I did used to watch her channel when it was tarot related so I might have seen it there, I am glad I picked it up though! :)
I think it's Astrological in nature. ( 45 degrees x2 = 90 square angle ) Especially with the number 45. = There's a Dice Version that was published in 1988, which uses less colors in a six sided system of five. (( no longer published, author was Michael Gross.)) The odd colors, were brown, peach, pink with the other Spectrum Colors + Grey, Black and White. a total of 18.
try using pairs, such as Lenormand. ( House and Random Card ) This one just has potiential to reflect the mood of 'others'. - A Stable Energy versus a Mobile one. Geomancy Knowledge could be put to good use.
I liked yr take on this. There are too many that seem to repeat. Love the cherry and plum colors i remember years ago deciding on paint colors for our home and just spending hrs looking at the beautiful colors. this was fun...thank you
I like these, this isn't something I would normally look at, but I can see numerous ways they can be used. I use scents a lot in my house for relaxation . The meanings for the colors puts a whole new message for clarity on reading too. I like them
Since I am French-speaking, due to your comments I am glad I got the original deck and book from French Amazon and love the quality of both the cards and book. Great review and suggestions for use.
Yeah, I have that edition of the Secret Language of Color (despite the fact that I had ordered the "Colour" version) and it is definitely disappointing in terms of card stock thickness & finish. Very disappointing.
Aw, that would be disappointing since you had ordered the other! For $10 I can't really complain about it but it is definitely a company I'll be wary of in terms of cardstock!
As you were reading, the image of the brown made more sense. When you talk about grounding and this plant is grounded and rooted in place, so that represents a boundary in its way-- being rooted, and knowing your place, your home, your foundation helps to create that boundary.
@The Truth in Story you're absolutely correct,in terms of price of the American/European (Beyond Words) vs the Australian version of this deck (Blue Angel).I've recently bought my copy of this deck from Book Depository. The American/European version is cheaper than the Australian one: its price is 11.30€,whereas the Australian one costs 22.70€ (I think that,in dollars, those prices are more or less the same). I chose to buy the Australian version of this deck, because I've read reviews on it,advising everyone to buy the Australian one,in terms of the card stock. But,even though the card stock is thicker, today I realised that already the ends of some cards are chipping off!And I have to say that I take REALLY GOOD CARE of this deck, and I haven't been using it daily!!Imagine what will happen to the American/European deck!!I'm already considering laminating mine in the nearest future, maybe you should consider doing the same thing to your copy!!Friendly regards!Excellent review!!!
That's too bad about the chipping, I've not really had any issue with Blue Angel decks chipping so that is disappointing!! I'll keep an eye on mine and see if I want to take measures to laminate! I just hate what laminating does to shuffling!
The Truth in Story I totally agree with you about laminating the cards and the shuffling..I'm not thrilled with that, still thinking about it. Keep up the good work on reviewing!!!Greetings from Greece!!
I love this deck. I have the Blue Angel version. I use this deck all the time for choosing colour for my adult coloring designs and for making colour water. As always Kelly your review brings up things that I wouldn't have noticed or thought of. Your my go to reviewer. I know you have a lot on your plate, buuut :-) Wish you would do a training on the meanings for the major and minor arcana. You always bring up viewpoints for the cards that always make me say," I never thought of that card that way". :-)
You know it's funny you should mention it but I was just thinking I really needed to just do a walkthrough of the tarot with how I read them if nothing else for my daughter so I'm putting that on the short list :)
The Truth in Story Awesome🙂 Would you mind sharing with me which model webcam and mike your using? I have to do some EC on Skype to qualify for my certification, the quality of your video's and crispness of audio is excellent.
It's so true, although I have found I've had to revise my hard stance against affirmation decks as they are good for pulling out the pom poms now and again :D I WAS a cheerleader in high school LOL
@@TheTruthinStory I agree, but at.the same time, it depends on how you use them and how many and what type of other decks you have. I wouldn't use an affirmation deck for straight divination, but I might add an affirmation *to* a divination. I've seen people praise really "blunt, straightforward" decks that to me don't feel any better than a magic 8 ball. If you use your intuition, I believe you can use anything. But if you are looking for a random card draw to give you the kind of reading that a good reader can give you, I don't think that's gonna happen very often. Sometimes they are awesome to clarify a reading, I'm amazed at how well different decks work together. I love the wild unknown tarot, and I love the book but she does try to tie up each card in a really pretty bow of positivity at the end. So I feel like the cards are a lot deeper than the book might lead you to believe. Sorry this might be a ramble.
@@TheTruthinStory It's a mixed bag. I think there are too many reds so the balance in the deck is off. I also think the choice of images imposes an association with the color so it would be difficult to see beyond it. I am interested in the book and see what she says about each though and at this price point I might just get it to see how it works. The pantone oracle offers the opposite challenge... 100 colors but no help interpreting them... 😂 💕
All I want to say is when you said it's not a real reading I snickered because my intention was for it to be a reading for me 😊...and it really was. THANKS!! ;D The power of intention! ;D

The dice system sounds very interesting!! So you're saying the colors themselves and the number of cards in the deck are astrological in nature?

I agree, I have had a few people recommend it and I definitely think it's a nice addition to non-people oriented decks!

It's called color Mage and it's way more expensive but the deck is thicker

Thank God for these reviews... 💖 🌞
What did you think??

What is your deck called? 😊
Story in Color Lenormand :)
This deck is the next on my list.💖💛💙💜💚
I do love the intensity of color, it definitely draws me in! :)
I love the way you read with these :)
A line of stones would have been good for the brown card, I feel.
All I want to say is when you said it's not a real reading I snickered because my intention was for it to be a reading for me 😊...and it really was. THANKS!! ;D The power of intention! ;D
My main tarot deck is thinner than that :( (but the cards are smaller... It's still too thin though)
Can you just let the card describe divine intelligence
Certainly, you can do whatever you would like with a card on your table :)
Obviously I need more red in my life!
