Video idea, throw a dart on a European map and spend a few days around the area where it lands, document the surroundings like the nature, people, buildings, culture, and more.

I would say that when you're in each city in future, show us more of the destination itself. The challenges where you needed to go to several interesting destinations in each city were the best, but you are also great at meeting people, so continue to do that, but in moderation.

Another idea, instead of Googling "the oldest church" or whatever, you need to find it by asking people!

My suggestion on a challenge: Walk from one side of a country to the other where you don't know anyone and with only $20 (or some number) to spend each day. Basically answering the question, can you survive with no transportation, no connections, and a limited budget to get from one side of the country to the other? (And not one of those easy countries like Luxembourg, but one that is actually a decent size like Spain or Germany.) Thanks!

You could do a multi country charity challenge series where you do helpful charitable things for people in different countries but tailored to that specific country. Examples: Help old people in Japan. Teach a science class in a Nairobi village. Find homes for street cats in Istanbul.

A number of years ago I read about a retired woman in the U.K. who made it her goal to visit every pub named "The Red Lion" in the country. She would take a bus from Red Lion to Red Lion and stay the night (most pubs have rooms available). It sounded like heaven to me. So here's my challenge to you. Make a video series where you visit every single Albert Heijn in the Netherlands. I'm a Canadian who's visited the Netherlands nine times (most recently in November) and I'm semi-obsessed with Albert Heijn. If I see one, I have to visit. From the premium AH (the underground one across the street from the Concertgebouw) to the little AH to Go stores. So there it is: visit all 996 Albert Heijn locations in the Netherlands, rate them and then take in the local sights. I guarantee your channel a triumph deluxe.

Hi chris. I have really been enjoying your channel so far your series was a blast. My suggestion is that on your future travel videos, you should visit some rural areas and least popular towns of the country your visiting. This, in my opinion, will make your content even more special and adventerous. Perhaps do some challenges in which you have to use local transport to get to a completely random town or village and try interacting with locals and learning more about the place and country you are currently in. Also you should show us around a bit more and make your viewers really experience the country you re visiting. Hope your channel takes off in 2024 because you absolutely deserve it. Keep grinding!

Great suggestion. My favorite parts of France are the smaller towns and mountain villages. Paris was great to visit for a day or two, but the best experiences are found elsewhere in the country, in my opinion. It's so crazy to see 15th-century castles while driving down the road. That's something you could never see in the U.S.

You should do some sort of challenge where you start with a certain amount of money in the UK and your goal is to make money in say the UK and get enough to afford a flight to another country and continue to do that until you get to somewhere like Turkey on the other side of the EU. I think it would be a really cool series and get your channel some traction.

I’m having fun watching your videos.
    My suggestion is:
Go to New Orleans during Mardi Gras and have no money.
Watch southern hospitality at its finest.
(You could go the weekend before Mardi Gras. That would be easier and the parades and fun start two weeks prior)

I started with your 14-day travel series, but somehow missed this video. I spent a lot of time in Amsterdam starting in the 1970's, while in the U.S. Army. At that time you could camp in the old Olympic Stadium. My last visit was in April 2022. At that time I spent 2 days in Den Haag, before boarding a river boat in Amsterdam. We cruised all the way to Budapest, then spent a few days in Prague. I will be back in September as we stop for the day on a cruise from Reykjavik. Update: You mentioned wanting to go to Japan. I was stationed there from 1966 to 1969. I loved it! It is not a place that you can just fly in and rush through a visit.

You also have a lot of skills and knowledge that you share with your viewers. You are not just a tourist, but a traveler who respects and appreciates different cultures and environments.

Awesome video, Chris. I'll be in Amsterdam in October for my niece's wedding. She used to live right down the street from me here in Los Angeles, but fell in love with a guy from Amsterdam, so off she went. Luckily I have plenty of air miles in my account for that trip. Just stumbled on your channel and binged the whole 14 days of travel and i really enjoyed it! 😊
My video idea is for you to challenge yourself by only speaking the local language to buy food, ask for directions etc.
I also prefer when you had smaller challenges to complete and did not really enjoy those that u had to sneak into like the hotel spa.

  • @kelly6504

An idea could be travelling around using only buses (not coaches) & see how far you can travel from your home town to ??? in 7 days.
I also liked the previous ideas of throwing a dart at a map to choose where to go, maybe using several maps. One to choose the country then get a map of that country to choose the place!! Also the idea of doing charitable/voluntary things in locations is fab
I only found you a few hours ago & you are definitely now in my top 5. I wish you every success my lovely.

I would love to see some videos showing us around the netherlands too so that when we visit we know where to go! I also love hearing u speak Dutch in the videos. For the rest of the videos I definitely think seeing more of the country would be good but I know it was hard with the time but maybe u could have like hard challenge one day and the next more touristy challenge so we get a bit of both.

There’s so many comments here and I started trawling through them in case I was repeating someone else but apologies I couldn’t get through them all, and know you may not get read this either! But what about seeing how far you can travel without flying- and travelling on a tight budget? I don’t know if you’ve seen Race Across the World (uk show) but such a great concept and great to see more of countries you travel across and meet the locals en route. Great channel by the way- really professionally edited and I love challenges where you’re pushed out of comfort zone but also showing the real you warts and all (food poisoning in Athens) as travelling isn’t always a glamorous experience.

I’m also Dutch, (from Rotterdam) I’ve also been to Amsterdam. In my opinion (in general, of what I remember) Amsterdam is much more affordable than Rotterdam, Rotterdam is quite expensive, but they both have very good things, plus Amsterdam stayed with the old Dutch styled-like buildings, while Rotterdam has really high industrialized in most of the part. Still, they are both really amazing cities, and honestly, I could just live normally in Amsterdam just like I live in Rotterdam. I’ve also traveled to a lot of countries! One of my favorites I would definitely recommend you to visit is definitely the United Arab Emirates (Verenigde Arabische Emiraten - VAE) or how most people call it - Dubai, it’s absolutely amazing, I stayed in Dubai and literally when your in the Terminal Airport everything is really modern, I stayed in one of the worlds most least affordable hotel 😅 - Atlantis, and yes, in the UAE it’s REALLY REALLY HOT, but that’s because I went in June-July, which is the hot seasons there, but that didn’t stop me, I also went to the Burj Khalifa, you have to go there at night! The lights and all of the fountains are absolutely stunning. I also went on an off-road adventure in the Arabian Desert, it was really fun, it’s like 20-30 mins of off-road, then you go to a place called ‘desert gate’ (بوابة الصحراء) where you can get a drink, and chill, and then they put you a kind-of tattoo called henna, it contains designs, but obviously it’s removable. When you’re there, you can also take a ride on camels. Last place I recommend you go (that I’ve been to) when you’re in the UAE is the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque (In the capital - Abu Dhabi) you can go with a taxi, it’s very easy and very cheap, the mosque is literally only WHITE AND GOLD, the designing is just too hard to believe and this place really gets you to know more about the UAE and about Islam. That’s all! Just so you know, there are definitely more places to go, but these are just the places I’ve been to. And the UAE is Visa-Free for Dutch Passport-Citizens, thank god we have a strong passport!

Would love to see an intentional no money challenge series, something like Simon Wilson. The cheapest series was great but (not trying to sound harsh here.. 😂) I kind of wanted you to fail one of your challenges to see how you'd manage it!

Hi Chris, I think you should do a proper no money challenge, meaning no money for food or hotel. A collaboration with Simon Wilson would be perfect for this. He is the King of no money challenges and proof you can travel anywhere no matter what your budget is! Also would love to see you travel Japan, it’s one of my dream places to visit and there is so much you can do there! I hope you get to visit there soon! 🤞

As a huge football fan myself, and I can see you are as well, doing stadium challenges across Europe would be so cool e.g. European football spin the wheel. And when you get there you can do various challenges like you have been doing. Keep it up with the videos though mate really enjoying them

Chris, we discovered your channel a few days ago and were hooked. Watched all four 14 days in one afternoon and evening. You have "it", (whatever 'it' is) and we look forward to seeing the channel grow and knowing we were here in the beginning.

I stumbled across your channel when you had 27 subscribers and I thought your videos wouldn’t be good. But boy was I wrong! They are so entertaining and you are a great person to watch and the editing is superb. Your ideas are fun and creative! I subscribed that day and enjoyed watching your channel grow every day with each exceptional video!
My challenge would be to climb the tallest building and drink the national drink at the top!
Keep making great videos and enjoy yourself!

Chris, the way your channel is taking off, I bet you could get some donations of airline points from your fan club here in the US, and you’d be here before you even know it!
It’s great to watch your channel excel! 🎉

Hey man. Really appreciate your warm optimistic energy and keeping it real. By showing the difficulties and failures, it makes your successes ever more genuine and satisfying!
My only suggestion would be to stop using dollar as a currency in the videos and thumbnails. It gives me the feeling the videos are generic and loses the authenticity of a European travelling in European countries. Nothing wrong with adding captions of the exchange rate into euros and USD in the video itself though! Most of the countries used euros and everyone in the world knows approximately how much a euro is anyway.
    Much love!

I would love it when you do Monopoly in Real Life. Don’t know, maybe it’s to expensive now when you are not so big ( no worry you will be a big RUclipsr ) but i think monopoly and you will be a great combo! Love from northern Germany
