It's so... complex and uncomfortable, there's this never ending lingering of uncertainty fueled throughout that makes this heartbreaking. If not, fascinating. The expectation of this being a standard cat sim is all but gone now. My feelings are all over the place with this one.

You are so right, it's very different from just a regular cat sim. I was surprised by the deep, emotional story! I played the demo a while ago, but there is SO much more to discover and I just LOVE IT! I'll have the final episode out soon. I hope you enjoy 💜

I remember from the demo that they were hinting at some darker themes, but I didn’t expect something so intense! I really hope there’s a happy ending with Olive and Dawn (1 & 2). Regardless, I have a feeling it will be a tear jerker, especially for cat people. I enjoyed watching, and I can’t wait to see more. 😊

Hi Juliette! Happy to see another cat playthrough! 😺❤️. But I wanted to tell you amazing and exciting news! This morning, I have hit 90% of total completion in GTA 5! 🥹❤️. The final countdown has began and I am 10% away from completing GTA 5 and my “Road to GTA 6.” The goal is in sight and I’m so close Juliette! 😃❤️. I got 12 missions left in the game. 😊❤️

Also sad - Annapurna Interactive, the developer behind the splendid indie title STRAY, has lost its entire leadership crew. Apparently some dispute between management and the team.
Which irks me, because Annapurna was teaming up with Remedy to develop CONTROL 2. Plus, I really liked STRAY. Little Tater - fluffy ginger squishbeans...

Juliette, the missions I completed since Monday. I completed “The Bureau Raid” and I got Franklin a maximum amount of 242K dollars and everyone survived! 😊❤️. And I completed “Legal Trouble”. And do you remember Juliette about the destruction at the airport with Molly being chased by Michael for the film? Well, after this mission, “FlyUS”, one of the airlines in the GTA HD universe went down heavily in the stocks due to the event. 😊. And it went down by 80%!! And Juliette, it will rebound highly after the “Meltdown” mission by 100%! So, prior to that mission, I will invest into FlyUS with all characters before Meltdown. That’s my plan for that. 😊❤️🙏😇

I do remember you doing this demo, and wondered when (if) it would reappear. I seem to remember that demo was a bit tense and somewhat sad , but I may be mis-remembering. However, after seeing this, and reading the Steam blurb... ?
"...a narrative driven indie game that is perfect to cuddle up with on a rainy afternoon..." - yes, very cuddly - where is the bowl of bon-bons, as we deal with this treacherous daughter from a deep dark place? 😅
I confess I was guessing how long it would be before you were able to make a choice in the beginning, as you try to figure a hack to get them all. 😂
Yes indeed. She does need to rest, and she is a bit grumpy, but she can only do that after picking up all the tossed objects throughout and opening a bag of chips to replace that lovely steak (although, I too question Olive's previous dealings with cats if she leaves such tasty food just laying about) 🤣
Finally Dawn 2 begins to feel at home, and starts to be a bit protective, the twists all start twisting...
1:09:51 - I knew you would reason it out eventually. It seems that Mae is good at giving the you need help advice, but, as is too often the case, not so good at recognizing her own need for some assistance with it all as well. A dark path to walk down for sure. 😱
But finding out the fate of Dawn 1 and, subsequently, Dawn 2 has pretty much tainted Mae permanently in my book. There are things which can, may, could, should, and cannot be forgiven. With the nearby shelter, her choice to simply toss them away, is pretty much a point of no return. 🤨
And not only that... she has her car parked at the bottom of an empty driveway, smack across the pedestrian walk way . Just a further example of what a cold, uncaring, tediously vicious person she really is. Her car should have been ticketed and towed. 😤🤭
I still hold out hope this will have a strong ending, but it does look grim for the moment. 🥲
A nicely made, good looking, and thoughtful game. I am pleased to see it return in it's fullness. I very much look forward to the ending episode, and seeing how it all goes. Secretly I am wishing that Dawn 1 and 2 form a pact and figure out hot that lawnmower works, and lure Mae out in to the backyard for a bit of fun in the sun! 😜

I remember the demo ended after we found Olive in the bathroom, and as if that's not worrying enough - we now have Mae and her actions! I was honestly so shocked. I didn't expect such a twist like that. It's definitely a lot darker than I expected, but it also makes me really hooked and interested for more 😱
The parking is just one more aspect of Mae that's not to like, you're right!!
I've put together a different video for Copycat which is a "story explained" one, and I feel really proud of it! I hope I get the courage to upload it 😅 I definitely need to stop worrying about what others think, and just enjoy making things. nice, imo this game is not sooo real, because a cat-center is (or should be) more opened, for example FFRC (a real yt-livecam Ohio rescue center) , there is a wide area and all cats have there places there and can connect with eatch other if they want 😊🤣
We only saw a portion of the shelter, they might have a larger play area in there somewhere 😊
I don't have much to say. This is just that kind of game. Though, I can say three things: One, I don't like that you're forced through certain actions, that you have no say. That's disappointing. Two, if there isn't a happy ending I'm going to _riot._ Three, to hell with the daughter. To _hell_ with her. If she cared about her mother she wouldn't have literally thrown both Dawns out, and that's not even going into unaliving her own mother. To _hell_ with Mae.
Not gon'a lie, I skimmed the last bit, after Mae threw Dawn out. I just don't want the perpetual sadness and gloom and I feel like the game is diving into.
Honestly, when you post the next one, let us know in the title if there's a happy ending or some kind of--not _this._ If it's just more heartbreak, I'd rather skip it.

I have played a lot of emotional games, and I love them 🥰 as sad and shocking in places as this game is, I truly enjoyed it. I'm so proud to play an Australian made game! It's so rare to hear my accent in a game, let alone play a game made here 💜
Good idea about the title of the next episode, though I can't promise there won't be any more sad moments. If it's too much, then please don't feel you need to watch the next episode... or **spoilers if you really do want to know if there's a good or bad ending**

So far not a fan of the game. My biggest complaint is that they are ham-fisted with their story telling. Really trying to jerk those tears out of the player. And then so blatantly spelling out why the game is called Copycat... No subtlety at all. 😅
I'll be holding out hope of them turning it around for me, though.
