I adore the OG Spyro trilogy, a childhood favourite. The Reignited Trilogy is such a nostalgia trip 😊

I gotta say, the intro...it's great that they now clarify Gnasty Gnorc learned about the smack-talk via TV, but that also means he clearly saw that Spyro wasn't hit. Dude had a chance to fix it and just whiffed...
Great choice! The original Spyro trilogy are my comfort games and are always fun to 100% complete. You do need to get an all in one to complete the Flight levels by the way. You can do them. It just takes practice and working out a strategy that works for you. In Sunny Flight, I tend to start with the barrels going along the opposite direction to which the train they’re on travels so they’re coming towards you, then the chests, then the arches and save the planes for last.
Comfort games is a great way to describe them! I might save the all in on time trials for the end.... Only if people REALLY want to see it 🤣

This was definetly a big part of my childhood, i still have all 3 of the original ps1 copies. I am so glad you chose Spyro as the next playthrough :) one of the all time greatest.

I played this on the PS1 when it first came out. That music... it takes me back to my childhood.

I think Spyro 2 is my favorite of the trilogy but will say all three are great and also have some fantastic music. All the music was made by Stewart Copeland who is a very talented man who founded the band the police and was it's main drummer and also compossd the soundtracks of many popular movies and has won countless awards over the decades
Growing up, I only played maybe three games in the PSX. Crash Bandicoot (which i pray is on the line up), Tony Hawk Pro Skater, and Spyro. This brings me back. I think I was only 5 or 6 when this came out. It's beautifully remastered! Extra points for Tom Kenny as Spyro, I love him. Hahaha

Huh. Spyro, eh? You know, I hadn't thought about it before, but really, I think Spyro suits you. His games are lighter, though not terribly "cozy", as you know. The games as a whole are just _fun._
Collecting everything in every level sounds like a plan. 😀
25:50 "All bulls stuck". I have no idea, but the first thing that comes to mind is having Spyro stand near a wall when a bull charges, then getting out of the way at the last second. The bull may get his horns stuck in the wall.
41:43 Time trial. You know, on your very first attempt, you missed getting it by a hair's-breadth. That's insane, you ask me. I don't like timed bits any more than you do, but if that's how close you got on your _first attempt,_ you should be able to get it all in one go in no time. That said, I think going anti-clockwise along the track would be a better idea, so the trains are coming toward you instead of you chasing after them.
Can't you upgrade Spyro somehow? I haven't even seen the games in forever, but I thought you could make him glide farther or higher, breath more fire, or something. If that's true, then maybe it would be best to wait on the time trials until you get Spyro upgraded a bit, see if that helps. Even i it doesn't, the time spent on other levels will get you used to the controls again, which should make the time trials a little easier.
And yes, I am turbo down for more 100%-completion Spyro. 😄

DG 👋💜 it's SO much fun and I'm having a blast! It definitely brings back some memories of me gaming in my teens and 20s.... I had a quick look for my Spyro games the other day, but I must have got rid of them. To be fair, they'd be 20 years or so old by now so.... they probably wouldn't have survived multiple house moves in all those years!
The time trials.... YIKES! Anything with a timer on it, and everything about me says NOPE! It would be cool to fully complete the game, though.... I see no shame in looking up a guide if I need help 🫢 but it will probably be the last thing I do as you're right, I will be a bit better by the end of the game, I reckon! One would hope HEHE
I think there are upgrade elements during the games, but some might last limited time. I vaguely remember him being able to glide and then hover at the highest point of the glide, but that could be a future game. They all get blended together in my memories 🤣

Spyro was my first Playstation game, the very first Spyro game is probably why I kept playing games. Collecting all the gems and stone dragons, using the cheat codes for fun. And all the other great characters, Elora is one of my favorites. These 3 games are my proudest platinum trophies. Trouble with the trolley? eh

My first thought, when you started the play was, gee this really sort of reminds me of Ratchet & Clank, and then... oh yeah. I remembered they both began in the very same brains, years ago. I have never played any Spyro games, but remain a huge fan of the R&C games.
I enjoyed this very much, I can't lie. These are another brand of chill games, which are always fun. Great art, voices, dialogue, and mechanics. What's not to love?
I, for one, would love to see the whole game on the channel - if you have the time, and want to do so.
The chickens just crack me up, jumping around, acting goofy, and even though you did mess one of them up, I am pretty sure the rest remained unconcerned.
Silly Sausage - I haven't heard that in a good while, and it may have been in one of your videos. Your talking to the NPCs, your characters, and even sending yourselves little notes from the past and future, is all in keeping with your excellent gaming style, and always adds an extra polished layer to your videos! 😉
"No. I'm not into a time trial, me." Nor me! I always (mostly) try them, but easily bail on them, with few regrets.

Oh yes, I forgot to tell you that one of my favorite lines that Trevor said in the second unique phone call after “Fresh Meat.” in GTA 5. To Wei Chang Sr. Trevor starts the conversation by calling him. “Mr.Chang-Chang. How’s it going?” It’s one of my favorite lines that I wish you heard in your playthrough because it was just the way Trevor said it. 😂❤️.
The fact that Tom Kenny revoiced his all of lines for spyro and other characters he voices (even in this game of the 3 in wich he originally didnt voice spyro) makes this remaster much better.

Spyro Juliette? Awesome! I've always loved 3d platformers, from the earliest ones such as Crash Bandicoot and Mario 64, right up to the current generation ones such as Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and Psychonauhts 2. Speaking of 3d platformers, I'm currently playing the new Astro Bot game and it's honestly the most fun I've had with a game in a long while. I highly recommend you try it sometime as I think you'd love it.

I really wanted to give Spyro a go as I've always loved him and thought it would be a lot of wholesome fun to play. I've never played Mario or Crash, but maybe I could try those as well at some point! I remember playing some Crash during Uncharted 4 😅
I adore Ratchet & Clank and have spent countless hours trying to get so many bolts for upgrades!
I've not played the new Astro Bot game yet, but that's on my wishlist too 🥰 definitely one to play soon! I'm glad to hear it's lots of fun.

Just a couple of points
1. In 'Spyro 1', defeated enemies drop gems, but ONLY in 'Spyro 1'. If you continue to play the second and third game (please do), you can just defeat them and walk away.
2. If you hold a button (it might vary depending on your controller, check the layout) on your controller, Sparks will point in the direction of nearby gems. Can be really handy if you have a few missing at the end of a level.
No, enemies drop gems in 3.
I did have that vague memory of Sparx finding gems! I couldn't find the button for it, so maybe it's in a future game!

Spyro does not make you collect everything in one go, so I'd advise against going around the "hub worlds" for all the gems. It can even help sometimes to keep trails of gems in place until you go to the nearest gate as a reminder "I haven't done this yet"

Great video Juliette! I love this new series already. And also I wanted to ask and tell you that I have two more chances with the stocks via story after mission. And Juliette, I’m going to need your help and opinion on which stock I should invest the most and I will tell you what company it is and what the return percentage is. There are going to be three at least. But I’ll let you know when I get close to that point as I want the people to help me on my “Road to GTA 6.” People like you Juliette. Especially since you been there for me since the beginning and I want you to help me if you want to. If not, I can understand 😊❤️

It's been a LONG time since I played, maybe 15-20 years 🤣 I can't remember much about the games, though I do vaguely remember some cheetah fellow and the fact that Sparx used to help find gems! He doesn't do that in this one 😅

Well, Microsoft does happen to own Spyro nowadays so any new ones are guaranteed to be on Xbox!

@@xJuliettexYeah, they got both Spyro AND Crash Bandicoot when they purchased Activision. Which, as an original PS1 owner, seems very strange. They were almost known as Playstation mascots back in the day! I don't think Spyro is on game pass yet unfortunately (possibly due to deals made before the purchase), but I'm sure it will be at some point.

I now realize why I found the first game difficult. Spyro doesn't hover, at least not like in game 2 and 3. And just a tip, if you are having trouble finding gems, Sparx should be able to show you. I think if you press down on the right or left joy stick and he will point to where you are missing gems. I know he does it in games two and three. Hopefully that's the same for this. Also sorry I am not telling you how to play, I just want to be helpful. I know what it's like to be frustrated when you can't find the last few gems in a level. ♥
Yes, I remember the hover and sparx helping as well! Unfortunately, it's not in the first game 😭

@@xJuliettex Yes, you played the PS1 original as a kid. Unlike me though, you haven't ever returned to it. I was born in the gaming world by it. Formed by it. It has been with me my while life.
I know all that is Spyro from story to where every gem, dragon, and egg is at.

@@xJuliettex no, I'm only in my 20s right now. I did grow up with the original PS1 Trilogy though, alongside the infamous Enter the Dragonfly and A Hero's Tail.
I've found that with these older games, my adult reflexes aren't as good as my kid reflexes crash bandicoot waa so much harder now than I remember

OMG that is too funny 🤣 I've never heard AC or any game like that referred to a big head game, but now I know! You might want to check the playlists as I've got a LOT of big head games in there, including Assassin's Creed, GTA Online, Watch Dogs, etc. I'm taking a break from those types of games though, and wanting to try new things on the channel after playing big head games for a long time.
