Jimmy Church is still alive and very well i just came across an interview of him one on one in 2020 which was released on the Country Music Hall of Fame channel in February 2023 this year and still has his hair. Very good interview

He does. He took this style and song from Sam Cooke.. and its funny if you go look at Jackie's mannerisms they seem to also stem alot from Sam Cooke. Super cool video of Jimmy Church! Awesome
