This has more of a six flags feel that both Walibi Holland and Belgium (ex six flags parks) lol. So much similar rides to a typical six flags park, we just need an RMC conversion of the woodie and then it will be like a complete 6 flags park lol
In all honesty, it would be an incredible RMC
10/10 for a near death experience, amazed nobody has been thrown out of Rio Bravo

Had to watch this vlog again because of the water rides, your face when you got soaked and Dean laughing.....so funny! Also the backwards drop was comical, shocked to start with because of your safety, you have to look back and laugh at it. But great vlogs again Shawn and thanks for making us laugh and glad you got off safe after that backwards drop.

Glad you enjoyed the Vekoma Boomerang. I'm an LA native and we used to have one of those at Six Flags Magic Mountain. They moved it to Six Flags New England and changed the trains which completely ruined the ride, it's so painful now. But riding that in the back row when it was in SFMM was probably one of my favorite coaster experiences of all time.

I lived in Madrid in 2006 for 5 months. Went here 5/6 times. Great place to be when the sun is out (which it usually is there)

Here's my advice if anyone wants to visit Parque Warner: there's a bus that goes from the Mendez Alvaro bus station in Madrid to Parque Warner. The journey only takes about 30 minutes and the ticket which includes the entry to the park only costs around 35 euros (the entrance fee is normally around 40 euros).
Laughing my head off with the Rio Bravo surprise drop - the comment "I'm not that wet...." "to be honest I'm more concerned about my safety" - brilliant!!! Funny as hell! Keep up the good work... cheers.
I've never been so scared in all my life riding stunt fall when I went to this park 2 years ago. we rode batman 3x, and superman 5x the park was dead then! glad you guys enjoyed it and have made me happy thinking of all memories I made at that park!

Glad you enjoyed this theme park honestly. Im from Madrid and live 35-40 minutes away from the park, I've been on the park since its debut and I have seen it drop down when it comes to quality and experience (The park was on release WB property, but it was making the company lose money after de Economic crisis in EU. WB sold the park to their current owner (dont know the name though) which is another company that has a lot of other theme parks internationally. If you loved the park then, you would have loved it before the economic crisis.
Since then, the park hasn't been heavily renovated (recoloring, added theming on rides like superman). Since the debut back in 2002, the only addition to the park have been: Wildly Coyote, Yogi bear (next to stunt fall), and Scooby Doo spooky adventure (shooter/zapper dark ride, first ride to the left when entering cartoon village ).
The park was also pretty expensive at the time 45-ish € for kids under 12 and adults where somewhere around the 60€. The prices were reasonable back then because the money was used to make sure that park satisfaction was on an all time high. But after the crisis, the ticket prices dropped significantly (27€ per person now) which meant that the park also went through some deep budget cuts, that's why some attractions felt lacking in audio (Rio Bravo) or wonky audio animatronics (Hotel Embrujado -> the spooky mad house). Also, not a lot of characters taking pictures anymore, back in the day, the entire hollywood entrance was filled with characters. 5 characters at once every 30 minutes.
Some more history about parque Warner, this was built as a substitute for the failed attempt of getting a Disneyland park in Spain (which is now located in Paris). Yes Disneyland Paris was originally going to be in Madrid, reason why it never happened was because Cataluña wanted the patk to be in Barcelona, leaving to an internal argument around us spaniards. Since we couldnt make a decision, the park was then given to France.
Since we lost our guaranteed chance at a Disney park, we started to look for other major companies. I dont know how WB and the government got together, but they did. Parque Warner was designed to literally compete against Disney Paris (just like Universal does with Disney california and WDW), that is why theming in the park Warner is through the roof (with the exception of superman due to last minute budget cuts).
The park lost some of its charm, but is slowly getting back to where it used to be (very slowly though). Its not much but its our small gem.
Also, as a fun fact, their is constant debate about which park is better, the madrid park or Warner. People tend to hate on Warner because its more "childish", and funny enough, the people who say that are generally people who have never been in the park. They only focus around cartoon village without thinking about the thrill rides around the old west and Heroes world. Quite hilarious to be honest, because after they give Warner a chance, their opinions change completely.
Loved the vlog, and it was great seeing your reactions and honest reviews, sure you were sometimes baised towards other rides back home or at other parks, but I like that you kept it honest. The feedback was also great, wish they added theming around some rides, but sadly... they wont :/

Spanish fan here. Was really waiting this vlog when I heard on The Show you were going for the first time to Parque Warner. I would have loved to go on the same day as you, to meet you and Dean in person and show you around the park and have a good time, sadly I dont live in Madrid, but Valencia, so its not easy for me to go there whenever I want. Loved the vlogthough and how you showed everything in the park in detail, knew you would love Superman, Stuntfall and Rio Bravo, some of the best rides on the park and probably some of the best in Spain. Really laughed at your surprise faces with the backwards bunny hill at Rio Bravo as I knew it was coming, and your face on Cataratas Salvajes was amazing while Dean was laughing, that ride can really get you wet. And thanks for doing a little walkthrough around Superman's queue, as Im making a recreation right now on Planet Coaster, and you have the best shots of it in the whole internet (had to work with my memory and the few photos around the net).

It's strange that since this was B&M's first inverted coaster, Batman: The Ride was cloned a lot. In some Six Flags parks, the track layout is mirrored. What's great is that since it's a cloned ride, you practically rode them all whether you're in Magic Mountain or in Parque Warner.
Which parks have the mirrored ones? Is the Parque Warner one a mirror or a straight clone? Cheers
@@visionist7 The ones at Parque Warner, Six Flags Over Georgia, Magic Mountain, Over Texas, Great Adventure, and Great America are all straight clones. The ones at Six Flags St. Louis and Fiesta Texas (which is now named Goliath) are the mirrored layouts.

iv'e noticed in your vlogs that you are very experienced with theme parks mate e.g with roller coasters. Usually with me im a bit apprehensive until after ive tried them when i want to ride them again as first time i ride something i get the excitement factor the first time around on the ride but 2nd time is for the experience

I still remember the first time I went on Rio Bravo and almost fly off the boat on that airtime hill🤣🤣 So sad I wasn’t brave enough to go on Stunt Fall and Batman, I would defenetely ride them now, if the park was open...😢

Pretty sure there may be significance to "Rio Bravo" I believe the western area is a tribute to the John Wayne film "Rio Bravo" At the 27:10 time point notice the black trunk with the name "John Wayne" and after taking a closer look at the area it resembles the town of the same name in the film.

+Theme Park Worldwide ALL Roller Coaster Corporation of America woodies need to be RMCd. Coaster Express is pretty much the Mean Streak of Europe. They are literally the same experience. Rough track, large size, and a lack of elements besides a bunch of boring turns. Yep, sounds like in need of the RMC.

Ive been to that one on vacation once, it felt like an add-on, like a permanent mini carnaval rather than an actual theme park. Madrid's version is kinda big, nothing like a magic kingdom from any disney park though, but its decent in size.
I did magmus colossus when i was 10 in 2007 on the back row was a bit unsure at first but one of the best i had ridden at the time. Also falls of the nile at terra mitica took me by surprise as didnt expect the drop backwards when i was on the ride (2nd from the back) i was soaked when i got off it aswell, luckily it was a sunny day. Went to the park again in October 2008 (when i was 11) twice in the rain #madness -#ilikegettingabsolutekysoakingwet

Love this Park...and missing the Warner Bros. Movie World in Germany :-( But I don't understand the People at Rio Bravo. Weather seems to be fine, sun is shining and they are wearing huge plastic bags.
They didn't want to get wet, that's the reason they wore plastic bags

Also, the Vekoma giant inverted boomerangs are actually fantastic. Back in the mid 00s Magic Mountain still had one (called déjà vu) and it was one of my top five coasters in the park! I rode it again in 2011 and was gutted when I returned in 2014 to find that they had taken it out! :-/
And I have ridden the ride four times, and only once I stand up, and it is a little. It depends .

Great vlog as always! I'm planning to do my own Spain trip with some friends in 2017 and I figured this would be the perfect place to ask my questions. I'm planning to visit Parque de Atracciones, Parque Warner, Terra Mitica, Tibidabo and PartAventura on that trip, just so you know.
Would you say that Parque Warner is worth or maybe even needs two days or is one day enough for this park? Same question also applies for the other parks of the trip, though I'm sure, with the exception of PortAventura, one day for each is enough.
What about filming onride footage? Do you need a written permission in advance or do they just let you bring your camera on the rides? Again, question applies for all parks of the trip.
I would really appreciate it if you could help me out here. Keep up the good work!
Sounds like you have a fantastic trip planned and we hope you have a fantastic time! We had permission from the park on the day to film on ride footage, both parks are also 2 day parks in my opinion!
Thanks for your help! And yes, I'm really looking forward to this trip, even though it's still a long time away. At least I'm moving to Düsseldorf in about two months which means I'll be a lot closer to some amazing theme parks like Phantasialand and Efteling.
Speaking of which, I really hope they open Taron in time for your trip there. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this new coaster.
Does he realise that Batman la fuga is an exact clone of all the other Batmans at six flags parks, just with better theming. he's literally been on this ride already (Batman the ride at SFMM)

Magic mountain used to have one of those giant inverted boomerangs it was my favorite ride at the park until they shipped it to six flags New England theirs nothing to me that compares to these boomerangs it sucks that theirs only 2 left here in the U.S.

I think he has said that before in another vlog, but I don't agree - personally think it's one of the best drop towers I've ever been on! I've got an on-ride video on my channel (I won't link to it because I don't want the TPW guys to think I'm trying to spam their comments!) But I think its sheer height combined with the views you get and the fact that it's mounted on Superman which is probably my top three ride in the park make it for me.
Not a huge fan of it at all, was very forceless!
I had the same feeling about it too when I first rode it, but I do have to say I think they've changed something with it cause the last time I rode it was quite forceful on the drop. Took me for a major surprise!
HEX has a good storyline and good music, but as a non- englishman, I perfer The haunting in Drayton manor. It's far more dark and in fact looks a bit like hotel Embrujado (this madhouse in Madrid). When I was here, I was happy to be home again because spannish kids are annoying as hell. And loud!
