The Lyrics of this song are very touching, it reminds me of the few years from 1972-1974, when we would spend our Sunday mornings at Church then, it was at home having a Sweet Sunday, we were in love then as much as we are now, and the only thing that changed that we had Two Boys to share that love with. This is a very sweet song, i hope that someday people will go back to this kind of message of the Love For each other and Count the blessings you have, God Bless the Beach Boys, and pray that we all have a peaceful Sunday.
Carl at his finest, from THE all-time underrated BB's album. Critics know nothing about music!! ----------Miss you,. Carl Wilson. -----------------WolfSky9, 71 y/o
MIU is one of THE most unappreciated albums of all-time. " Critics" ------what a joke they are. This is Carl at his finest, with flawless harmony. ----------------------WolfSky9, 72 y/o
It's remarkable that this song is simply about spending a quiet Sunday with the one you love and yet in their hands it becomes virtually anthemic. A great song for 'counting your blessings'.
One of my under the radar favorites from the era. Never get tired of hearing this - fantastic lead by Carl . . .
Bubba Fide Amen!! And, as ALWAYS
Carl Wilson has the sweetest voice and this is an overlooked beauty!!!
Carl!!!!!!! voice of angel, we love you for ever.......
The melody to this overlooked gem is as strong and catchy as anything Brian Wilson wrote in his "golden era" of the 60s.

In 1954 Sweet Sunday Kind of Love would've been a huge hit for Patty Page.

Winter Symphony Was Recorded In These Sessions; Another Wonderful Song!
Critics loved to bash the BBs because they could never duplicate Pet Sounds, the greatest set of pop sounds ever created.
I think this is one of their best medium Ballads. What a Band!!! Geniuses!!!!

Carl Wilson, we still miss you, today, in 2019. ---------------------WolfSky9, 72 y/o
You're right, there are many jewels there. :o)
Another highly under-rated song from the Boys MIU album. Who isn't moved by Carl's vocals?

Lyrically, this could have easily fit on "Friends".
String arrangement by Michel Colombier on this masterpiece. -------------WolfSky9
