Will it Discharge while PARKED for 2 weeks? SHOCKING Results - Mercedes EQS EQE EQB Electric

Ever wonder how much charge your electric Mercedes EQS EQE EQB will lose while you are on vacation, or while it is parked for extended periods of time? Recently we were on our summer vacation for 2 weeks and I thought it would be a great time to do an experiment to see how much battery charge it loses and how much the battery drains while we were gone for 2 weeks on vacation.
The results were very surprising to say the least.

Any concerns about fire related risks with parking it in the garage esp when you go on a trip?

That’s always a concern with any EV. When traveling I’d recommend leaving it unplugged. And if you live in an area that has high risk of getting rats into your garage I’d leave it parked outside incase rats decide to chew through wires when you’re out of town.

I thought the door handles only pops out if you have the key

I think if it is unlocked the door handles will pop out when it sense you nearby. But when it is locked the door handles will only pop out when you have the key with you.
