Kuwana really wants to hit the Mortal Attack directly, but it doesn't work. BTW, do you have a new AI for Kuwana? I've never seen her move like 5:10~ in juggling combos and ground combos.
Also for the future: don't put the music of the character who will win, this kills all of the suspense when you figure it out. Make music random at least

I was more asking because I hoped for something along the lines of the existing fights against, say, Ryuji and Mine, where their proper themes are playing and the dynamic intros and everything are included. Fighting against the bosses themselves is fun, but it's a lot more fun when all the spectacle is involved too.
Amazing fights, Yagami’s rivals are really evenly matched. Can Soma vs Kuwana be done? In the story Kuwana says he thinks he could kill Soma in a fight.
@k8say When he fights Yagami in Legend Gauntlet, I expect he fights him as the Mole. The arena for him might be another story. Can't wait for more, especially when LAPY is coming next month.

How many new Reminiscence Battles will there be in the next update? I personally would love to see proper battles against Yamai and Shishido.
You will have a tool to decide which bosses to fight with in Custom battle level.

Aura comes from Yamai, and attack trail effects come from Tsuruno.
@k8say Tsuruno's effects are a good match, but I think Tesso's aura might suit him better than Yamai's.
