That’s because the sample was so young that it didn’t have any daughter material in it, those dating methods need both parent and daughter material so they can measure the ratio between them so the test would have given incorrect results because it was used incorrectly.
They age the fossils by layer it’s found in. They date the layers in the geologic column by the fossils. When the date doesn’t fit their preconceived notion’s of its age they throw it out . Those sneaky creationists have sent in rocks of known dates and ridiculous dates back . Roraima plateau in Guyana is supposed to be the oldest in the world. Billions of years old. In 1969 they broke rocks open and found pollen . The geologist said “ this is a serious problem “. They have never returned to do the follow up studies they said were needed . A lot of hard evidence says these dates are wrong . Robert Gentry did a great study published way back in 1976 showing these rocks formed quickly using polonium halo’s which form very quickly . You wouldn't use a diamond to test the softness of toilet tissue nor would you use U-Pb or K-Ar (they have VERY long half lives) to date volcanic material that was erupted from a recent volcano. Contamination by various means, including older accidental material caught up in a young magma generating event can explain much of this "error". Strangely, C14 dating would likely prove more accurate, where you would date organic material (for example, trees) charred and killed by the eruption and incorporated into tuff units. C14, no doubt, has been tested THOUSANDS of times on trees that can be independently checked by tree rings. One isotope pair, similarly, is tested against another. Trust if it makes sense but verify. That's good advice in science as well as day to day living. By similar reasoning, do we trust Joe in his claims that he is honest, or wonder where all the millions and the mansions have come from, when his average salary over the years was in the low six figures? How are the Clintons, the Bushes, the Bidens, Nancy, and the BLM tomatoes worth 10's or hundreds of $millions? Praise the Lord for their delivery over poverty!!!???? With all these theories to rock dating, how come none of them have actually created a rock, waited some 10+ years, and tested it (by someone else) to be correct. All they do is credit people, and yet none of them have actually been there to test it. Does anyone else see something wrong with this?
I think the Earth isn't as old as science claims. If the world is some 4.55billion years old, I'm sure things like Technology and the rest would have been more advanced than they currently are right now. The world is young, I was born in 1991, and I can see in just my 31 years of living, things have changed drastically. Just look back at Cars in 1991, Houses, technology, education, etc, and compare that with today and notice how the world has changed so fast, this is to prove how new the world as a whole is. I believe this earth is no more than 6000 years old.

Dear Burda, I tell You a scientific method which scientists actually used to determine the age of at least the nearby galaxial surroundings... and even farther. 1) First of all, in our solar system we measured the speed of light... it's about 300,000 km/sec - and the most interesting it is constant in time and space as well (see Michaleson-Morley experiment and its consequences). 2) Now, we have seen also the nearby stars' parallax by which we can determine their distance in kilometers or better to convert to AU (astronomical unit). 3) Among these stars we have seen many regular stars with a given spectral and thermodynamical characteristics - we found that the same charactreristics belong to the very similar stars with very similar brightness as well... Purely evidental! :) 4) After that we looked for the other stars which are shining much more distantly and used the well tested inverse square law for the brightness - by which we can precisely calculate many other stars' distance as well... And here comes the point just to overpass that biblical 6000 years of OUR galaxy at the first place - because there are lot of distant stars from where the LIGHT itself needs more than 10,000 years to travel to reach us, but we CAN observe them today (some even with our naked eyes, just we didn't know till yet how distant they are in real), so those parts of the universe in our galaxy clearly must be OLDER than that... 5) This so called "cosmological chain" which is based in pure EVIDENCE is not yet over! As we can measure also supernovea even much more farther then these already known stars, so here comes the hundreds of millions year regarding that part of the existing universe... which means: the whole is far more older than Bible says! 6) What even more: the most distant galaxies measured by their IA type of supernovea comes to the age of our so called "visible universe" (visible here means detectable), and that stays between 10-12 billion years depending how far we can follow this chain with a scientifically acceptable accuracy... 7) Farther we cannot see - and no one knows what is beyond that "formal boundary", which is enormously far from us about 13.8 billion light years away... ("1 light year" is the distance which light travels in one year - it is about 9460.5 billion kilometers). So maybe, maybe "there" is some kind of "God" residing somewhere out there - NO ONE KNOWS - and no one is able to falsify this possibility... BUT, that is pure evidance today that the whole universe is more than 13 (nearly 14) billion years old. This is what cannot be denied !!! Or people who do that will fall in that kind of group which I deeply feel is not necessary at all (to call some our brothers and sisters "sheep". :( ... Randal Bystry Although I'm a non-believer scientist, I think I can tell this in the name of many of those scientists who are willing to value the way itself how we evolved in a complex way, especially regarding how we though about the existance and universe, and top of that, about ourselves... This is really hard (almost impossible), because all of the believers are thinking in a way that so called "trueth" already has been revealed whith a maximal perfection - but this is not more just another "falt Earth". A prominent matematician (also philosopher) Kurt Gödel clearly found a rigorous theorem about this almost a cetury ago, that THERE IS NO PERFECTION, WHAT SO EVER, REGADING "KNOWING ALL" - of course this is valid even in the realm of "Gods". This fact (theorem) is absolutely having the similar magnitude, like "Sun is much bigger, and Earth practically revolves around Sun, so not the opposite is the case". This required paradigm-shift... But look at it again: everybody ignored Gödel's theorems for so many decades... just because those undeniable theorems states that even "God" cannot have these perfect properties, such as "omnipotent" and "knowing everything". - Now, think about it: how many more decades (or perhaps centuries) need to pass untill someone realizes that damn, it is not killing the "God", just telling that "every being simply needs to constantly improve his/her actual knowledge". For example: compared to the snails, we hopefully have much more knowledge - but who knows, maybe one day they will take over this planet millions of years after we wanished ourselves... and then: those snails maybe will have similar conversations about their origin - even can comprehend our Gödel's theorems again... :) This is why it is better to keep in mind "where we started" with all the mistakes, in order to avoid those thoughts that we "finished" every learnings, every discoveries, and this is why also important to improve somehow the old dogmatic religions to not make the same mistakes again and again... If we would complettely erase them, then this germ would start to grow again from the very begining. Wiser to manage to improve, not to erase it! I will never belive in any "Gods", those tales are (on today's level) really like Santa Claus - and in some sense that is also a nice thing, but seeing an adult having about 30-40 years and still believing in this tale, this is what frightening me, this is really bad, there must be some "near-scientific" view, at least... which is not killing the past, but having future as well! :)
f you studied enough, you will realize that all of his examples were based upon the wrong assumptions which are false. 1). False assumption - that the earth was created extremely hot which would result in a much different earth today that we observe....with plenty of water for one. 2) That all radio-active 'dates' agree. They do not, they differ widely. Just because we do not know how God created does not mean that He did not do the creating. God does not rely upon our knowledge in order to create.

Conversely, two thousand years can pass here on Earth, but for God, only 48 hours could have past, or 6 hours, or 6 seconds. The truly amazing thing is, until Albert Einstein elucidated his Theory of Special Relativity, ideas like these were relegated to science fiction. Today, this is scientifically possible in this universe. Now, think about the 6 days of creation, spoken about in the Book of Genesis. From who’s perspective, are these days given? Since man is not created until the 6th day-and the Bible says we are still in the 7th day, they must be from God’s perspective. Therefore, if time is relative for God, he can “live” 1,000, or 10,000 or 100,000 or 1 Billion years in one 24 hour Earth day. And, again, conversely, a 24 hour period of time could pass for God, yet a billion years could pass on Earth. Since this IS A SCIENTIFIC possibility, and not simply speculation, this can go a long way to reconcile the young Earth, old Earth debate.

Actually, there is not one shred of evidence showing that the world is older than around 6,000 earth years old. Every so-called "dating method" uses false assumptions to FORCE the results to give much older ages. Studies of earth's geological features over the last 100 years prove that the global flood of Noah's day is required to explain the origin of those features. Evolutionists have never been able to explain how our geology could exist without the global flood, thus they only say "millions of years did it"i with zero logical explanation. An age around 6,000 years is a proven scientific fact while imagined ages of millions of years is garbage, invented only as an excuse to be an atheist.

I just watched the above clip. They are correct, earth is about 4.5 billion years old. Gods sons crusificition on earth was a little over 1 billion years ago. We know that is took God-Lucifer 6 billion years to create Meri's soul, and all creation was formed around Meri, so we know that earth would be less than 6 billion. I just watched the clip, where they say that Aristotle was on earth 2000 years ago. That is not correct. Aristotles soul match spouse was on earth around twelve thousand years ago, but prior to this life, Aristotle only came to earth once at intial creation which was almost 1 billion years ago. Thats what i always tell myself i like watching these type of videos on space and etc but i dont believe majority of it at all how can people say certain things is billions of years old how can they say the age on anything like planets or universe... I have a hard time believing dinosaurs is real also because it was beyond our time to know altho there are bones of them i still dont believe cause it can be made... The entire earth is the same age. The idea that different layers of the earth are different ages is rediculous. Thats like saying diferent aspects of a living human are different ages. The entire human was born on the same day.
The mater is the same age but not the layers which forms at different times they’re measuring the time that the rocks cooled down and became solid. But that’s completely different to humans because although I may be 32 years old none of the cells in my body would be that old as they would have been replaced by new cells by now.

Every time a giant star dies and goes super nova, more heavy elements are created. Most of the material in our solar system is basically the same age, of course new atoms created by radioactive decay vary, such as a lead atom created by the decay of uranium. Nun the less all the actual protons and nutrons originally created were made in the big bang, and were hydrogen an helium.

A 1992 radioisotope dating research was conducted by Dr Austin on some Mt. St. Helens rock specimens. It failed to date the 10-year old rock accurately/precisely.
That’s because the sample was so young that it didn’t have any daughter material in it, those dating methods need both parent and daughter material so they can measure the ratio between them so the test would have given incorrect results because it was used incorrectly.
They age the fossils by layer it’s found in. They date the layers in the geologic column by the fossils. When the date doesn’t fit their preconceived notion’s of its age they throw it out . Those sneaky creationists have sent in rocks of known dates and ridiculous dates back . Roraima plateau in Guyana is supposed to be the oldest in the world. Billions of years old. In 1969 they broke rocks open and found pollen . The geologist said “ this is a serious problem “. They have never returned to do the follow up studies they said were needed . A lot of hard evidence says these dates are wrong . Robert Gentry did a great study published way back in 1976 showing these rocks formed quickly using polonium halo’s which form very quickly . Look him up
You wouldn't use a diamond to test the softness of toilet tissue nor would you use U-Pb or K-Ar (they have VERY long half lives) to date volcanic material that was erupted from a recent volcano.
Contamination by various means, including older accidental material caught up in a young magma generating event can explain much of this "error".
Strangely, C14 dating would likely prove more accurate, where you would date organic material (for example, trees) charred and killed by the eruption and incorporated into tuff units.
C14, no doubt, has been tested THOUSANDS of times on trees that can be independently checked by tree rings.
One isotope pair, similarly, is tested against another.
Trust if it makes sense but verify. That's good advice in science as well as day to day living.

Dear Burda, I tell You a scientific method which scientists actually used to determine the age of at least the nearby galaxial surroundings... and even farther.
1)
First of all, in our solar system we measured the speed of light... it's about 300,000 km/sec - and the most interesting it is constant in time and space as well (see Michaleson-Morley experiment and its consequences).
2)
Now, we have seen also the nearby stars' parallax by which we can determine their distance in kilometers or better to convert to AU (astronomical unit).
3)
Among these stars we have seen many regular stars with a given spectral and thermodynamical characteristics - we found that the same charactreristics belong to the very similar stars with very similar brightness as well... Purely evidental! :)

After that we looked for the other stars which are shining much more distantly and used the well tested inverse square law for the brightness - by which we can precisely calculate many other stars' distance as well... And here comes the point just to overpass that biblical 6000 years of OUR galaxy at the first place - because there are lot of distant stars from where the LIGHT itself needs more than 10,000 years to travel to reach us, but we CAN observe them today (some even with our naked eyes, just we didn't know till yet how distant they are in real), so those parts of the universe in our galaxy clearly must be OLDER than that...

This so called "cosmological chain" which is based in pure EVIDENCE is not yet over! As we can measure also supernovea even much more farther then these already known stars, so here comes the hundreds of millions year regarding that part of the existing universe... which means: the whole is far more older than Bible says!

What even more: the most distant galaxies measured by their IA type of supernovea comes to the age of our so called "visible universe" (visible here means detectable), and that stays between 10-12 billion years depending how far we can follow this chain with a scientifically acceptable accuracy...

But look at it again: everybody ignored Gödel's theorems for so many decades... just because those undeniable theorems states that even "God" cannot have these perfect properties, such as "omnipotent" and "knowing everything". - Now, think about it: how many more decades (or perhaps centuries) need to pass untill someone realizes that damn, it is not killing the "God", just telling that "every being simply needs to constantly improve his/her actual knowledge". For example: compared to the snails, we hopefully have much more knowledge - but who knows, maybe one day they will take over this planet millions of years after we wanished ourselves... and then: those snails maybe will have similar conversations about their origin - even can comprehend our Gödel's theorems again... :)
This is why it is better to keep in mind "where we started" with all the mistakes, in order to avoid those thoughts that we "finished" every learnings, every discoveries, and this is why also important to improve somehow the old dogmatic religions to not make the same mistakes again and again... If we would complettely erase them, then this germ would start to grow again from the very begining. Wiser to manage to improve, not to erase it!

f you studied enough, you will realize that all of his examples were based upon the wrong assumptions which are false.
1). False assumption - that the earth was created extremely hot which would result in a much different earth today that we observe....with plenty of water for one.
2) That all radio-active 'dates' agree. They do not, they differ widely.

Now the best part, what in the world does this have to do with the Bible, time dilation, and sheep herders in the Land of Israel 2400 years ago during the time of King David, and 2000 years ago with the Apostle Peter? Lets start with:
2 Peter 3:8 8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.
It is very important to find out what Peter means by this statement, but first I want to concentrate on how Peter could possibly have come up with this statement. As Christians, we of course believe in divine revelation though the holy spirit is one possible way-but my Atheist friends are already groaning. The other possible way, is the Old Testament. In fact, Psalm 90:4 adds a critical component to what Peter wrote. Here is the verse:
A thousand years in your sight
are like a day that has just gone by,
or like a watch in the night.
So the first part of the Psalm, basically mirrors what Peter wrote, but the last part of the verse is key: “or like a watch in the night.” So what is a watch in the night-3 hours of time. There were 4 watches each night, for a total of 12 hours. WHAT DOES THIS ALL MEAN? For God, time is relative. If God chooses-he can spend 1000 of his years, in a space of only 3 hours of Earth Time. Or, if God chooses-he can spend a 1000 of his years in one day of Earth Time. Or (since this is a principle and not a dogmatic rule) if God chooses-he can spend a 1000 of his years in only 3 seconds of Earth time.
Conversely, two thousand years can pass here on Earth, but for God, only 48 hours could have past, or 6 hours, or 6 seconds. The truly amazing thing is, until Albert Einstein elucidated his Theory of Special Relativity, ideas like these were relegated to science fiction. Today, this is scientifically possible in this universe.
Now, think about the 6 days of creation, spoken about in the Book of Genesis. From who’s perspective, are these days given? Since man is not created until the 6th day-and the Bible says we are still in the 7th day, they must be from God’s perspective. Therefore, if time is relative for God, he can “live” 1,000, or 10,000 or 100,000 or 1 Billion years in one 24 hour Earth day. And, again, conversely, a 24 hour period of time could pass for God, yet a billion years could pass on Earth. Since this IS A SCIENTIFIC possibility, and not simply speculation, this can go a long way to reconcile the young Earth, old Earth debate.

Controversial T. Rex Soft Tissue Find Finally Explained

The controversial discovery of 68-million-year-old soft tissue from the bones of a Tyrannosaurus rex finally has a physical explanation. According to new research, iron in the dinosaur's body preserved the tissue before it could decay.
The research, headed by Mary Schweitzer, a molecular paleontologist at North Carolina State University, explains how proteins - and possibly even DNA - can survive millennia. Schweitzer and her colleagues first raised this question in 2005, when they found the seemingly impossible: soft tissue preserved inside the leg of an adolescent Trex unearthed in Montana.
"What we found was unusual, because it was still soft and still transparent and still flexible," Schweitzer told LiveScience.
The obvious question, though, was how soft, pliable tissue could survive for millions of years. In a new study published today (Nov. 26) in the journal Proceedings of the Royal Society B: Biological Sciences, Schweitzer thinks she has the answer: Iron.

Iron is an element present in abundance in the body, particularly in the blood, where it is part of the protein that carries oxygen from the lungs to the tissues. Iron is also highly reactive with other molecules, so the body keeps it locked up tight, bound to molecules that prevent it from wreaking havoc on the tissues.
After death, though, iron is let free from its cage. It forms minuscule iron nanoparticles and also generates free radicals, which are highly reactive molecules thought to be involved in aging.
"The free radicals cause proteins and cell membranes to tie in knots," Schweitzer said. "They basically act like formaldehyde."
OCCUMS RAZOR: The simplest explanation tends to be the correct one.
So according to the article-for 300 years-science taught that fossils, which have to be millions of years old, could not and would not have any biological materials left. According to Neil deGrasse Tyson, all fossils are “rocks,” even the bone materials are gone.

Actually, there is not one shred of evidence showing that the world is older than around 6,000 earth years old. Every so-called "dating method" uses false assumptions to FORCE the results to give much older ages. Studies of earth's geological features over the last 100 years prove that the global flood of Noah's day is required to explain the origin of those features.
Evolutionists have never been able to explain how our geology could exist without the global flood, thus they only say "millions of years did it"i with zero logical explanation. I just watched the above clip. They are correct, earth is about 4.5 billion years old. Gods sons crusificition on earth was a little over 1 billion years ago. I just watched the clip, where they say that Aristotle was on earth 2000 years ago. That is not correct. But that’s completely different to humans because although I may be 32 years old none of the cells in my body would be that old as they would have been replaced by new cells by now.
The entire earth is not at all the same age. The earth formed by gravity over millions of years. While a human have a day of birth, the whole human body is not the same age. Cells die and new cells are formed. How come you do not know this? Are there other things you do not know? What shape is the earth? What are planets? Do space even exist?

Every time a giant star dies and goes super nova, more heavy elements are created. Most of the material in our solar system is basically the same age, of course new atoms created by radioactive decay vary, such as a lead atom created by the decay of uranium. Nun the less all the actual protons and nutrons originally created were made in the big bang, and were hydrogen an helium.
