My moms dog had a hip that kept dislocating and finally after several appointments and the vet popping it back into place they advised her that she could have surgery to correct it which had a high fail rate, or amputate the leg and recover would be easier. She's a tripod dog now and faster than ever. Hope your baby gets better!!
This video could not have come at a better time, I'm sitting here in the throes of intestinal cramps and this video just took my mind off of it and made it so much easier!
Hi Christina, it was fun to see Bonnie stop by for a surprise visit, yours is a beautiful friendship for sure. Your mom made some delicious looking pies, now I want to make and eat pie ! It was sad to see Sammy hurting, she’s such a cutie. Sending you, your mom and family love and blessings. ✨💖✨💫
What a fascinating week! I loved the sister necklaces and despite your button issues, it’s so wonderful to watch you taking such huge leaps forward! Let’s hope the speech therapists can help with your swallowing before Thanksgiving! Love to Momma Elke and Lauren too xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Sounds like you had a completely filled up day! Every day is a productive day even when it's a rest day! Lol sister necklaces! The silver ring splint company is AWESOME! They had to make a special brace for one of my fingers and it is perfect! So cool for you that would be so neat to at least to start figuring out the "eating food" aspect. That would be so good if they can get it figured out for you! Have you tried the rice or almond milk again? Oooo how awesome "Bonnie cam" so cool she gets to hang with you! Lol the wheelchair train!! So glad you had a good time at the beach! And yes Jen is Awesome!!! On the gut aspect- walking helps out a bunch too! And you are so correct when you have a health care professional who knows you and is willing to put deliberate time into it makes such a huge difference. We need more "Trisha's " sooo many more! Ha ha the vest, you are too funny. And as always great video and gentle hugs my friend!
I love your videos. I have a preliminary EDS diagnosis and am in the process of getting a finalized/type diagnosis (because I fit both type 1 and 3) but my doctor has a LONG waiting list. It’s good to see people still being happy and living with EDS! ❤️
Oh honey you doing Bonnies vest was so funny I couldn’t stop laughing at the faces you made! I love seeing you much more yourself and bouncy and happy once more, I love that! Hope doggy is ok now xx
I have no idea what or who brought me to your channel. I've been a subscriber for awhile now and find myself looking forward to your videos. You are an incredible young woman and wise beyond your years. A true inspiration in many, many ways. I do not have EDS but I do suffer from chronic migraine headaches. Keep doing what your doing Christina, you have many talents and vlogging is definitely one of them!💙🌻✌
Twitches was one of my favourite shows as a kid too! That feels like a millenia ago now haha. It's so sweet of you to have made the matching necklaces for your sister.
The first video I watched of yours was My first steps and starting oxegyn therapy Week 80 I am getting knee surgery in a week and watching your videos help me realize there is nothing to be afraid of when you are as knowledgeable as possible about the procedure beforehand. Good luck to everyone going for the body pillow!!!💛💝💛💝 🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
Those necklaces are amazing. Just beautiful. I love the sister love. So sweet. 💕 I didn't know they had the elastics! I would love to tether mine. Gonna look now! I have side pieces on both sides of every ring..two on each finger. I need a bunch of redo's because over the years the side pieces have broken from so much manipulation. They rub and give me calluses and sores a lot of the time, but they are still totally worth it. I often just nail file the calluses down so there's less rubbing. My greyhound was diagnosed with EDS about a year after I was. We joked about it a lot, but of course not when he was hurting. His toes would dislocate every time he ran and would scream bloody murder. It was so sad. Greyhounds are such sensitive dogs and he was extra sensitive. It made so much sense when he was diagnosed. I felt bad because I should have connected the dots sooner. That's him in my avatar, or whatever that's called. Lol He was my heart hound💗🐕 Hope sweet Sammy feels better soon!
I finally have my neurosurgeon appointment set! I'll be North Carolina bound January 12th🤗! Phase one to conquer chiari👊(and a plethora of other issues of course). Christina, I just want to thank you for bestowing your knowledge by experience... without the info I've learned from you(even though I'm your moms age😉), my gp and I wouldn't have the answers we do today. 💜🦓💪
I love watching you smile when you get gifts in hospital- I personally never find it boring to watch xx obviously it would still be nice to see a separate vlog of just you opening gifts 🎁 🤗😘
So happy you had a visitor. It’s always so nice to have those kinds of surprises. Omg, I saw the sign from your walk, the rocky point sign. My aunt used to take us to rocky point park every summer when we lived in New Bedford, Ma. Thanks for sharing, brought back such good memories for me.
Your video on body image with a chronic illness reeled me in because my best friend's sister has eds and some other chronic pain issues and I was wondering how she dealt with chronic illness and her own self perception. From that point forward I was hooked! I even made sure I checked in on your instagram when you were in the hospital recently for your infected shunt. Thank you for all you do and the education you've given me into the complexities of eds!
The first video I ever watched on your channel was one that was a basic overview of EDS. I was searching RUclips for information after being diagnosed in January. I’m so glad I found your channel!
Your living with EDS and POTS video showed me your world 😀 you’re such an inspiration to me. I’m still trying to figure out what’s going on with my joints but you have given me hope that a diagnosis is out there!
I first watched Staph Infection in my spine. That caught my attention and then when I saw shunt, I decided to watch to educate myself of what that even was! I enjoy how you explain your complicated issues in an easy to understand way of all the medical stuff. Stay strong. I hope you have great health and can enjoy the holidays with your family. xo
I have issues with internal stitches as well, so I had one doctor actually do my stitches in a way that it was all one piece that held everything together internally and externally and was removed with one snip and pull and the scar healed beautifully! I don't understand why more doctor's don't do this for those of us whose bodies don't like disolveable stitches.
Oh puppy! My little Abigail has luxating patella in both her back legs.. She manages pretty well most the time, I have to laugh at myself sometimes cause she's my first born "dogter" and I forget that she's NOT biologically related to me, since we are different species and all haha, but it's easy to forget that it was just luck, or she was just smart about picking me out at the pound and knew we would both have slidy joints ;)
Another great week! I love the sister twitches necklaces! I made matching Morse code bracelets and my sister (we say seester, I have no idea why lol) liked it bc it was sappy, but secretly sappy lol! I hope little Sammy gets better quick!! My mom's little dog throws out her hip and relocate it, too, so mom had to make a little ramp for her to get up on the couch and bed!! Or just take Sammy to Trish next Tuesday! :). Thanks for sharing another week with us. I still have yet to meet another EDSer in person, so it's really great to see how you all deal with challenges and learn what helps you!!
What a great video! Glad Bonnie came to visit how AWESOME... Did you have a Happy Halloween👻🎃?. Thanks outing out that if your fused yes digestive can be slowly I noticed that big time. I am as well. Never put that together before. Thanks for sharing💙💞
just got my bracelet from you Christina! I was so excited because I watch you and to think that you made this is amazing. My sister Patricia Heaton loves it also Thanks so much!
I commented a couple of weeks ago when you were in the hospital that I was hoping I could go all 2018 with out getting admitted and well I got home today from being admitted last Tuesday. :/ but it’s worth it. Tho I thought they could take me off some medications and I went home with now 2 new medications so that’s 26 total. I’m okay. I’m really happy. And I’m doing okay.
When dogs don't feel good they are pros at *that* face. you all know what I mean, I can't describe it other then the real 'puppy dog eyes' lol I think some people don't understand how much the barometric pressure can effect your body, especially if you are sensitive too it. I'd say the weather and pressure effect me the most
so happy you are going open po box im from uk and wanted send letter and stuff to you so hope you do open one at end when stopping vest you looked really spaced out like going pass out you could try a teaspoon a day or every other day see how go with something that is free from most allergens like nut wheat dairy lactose or even try freeze into ice cube it best is go slow when trying get stomach and intestines to wake up
Yay, the vlog’s up!!! ...It is so so hard to get help for swallowing as an adult. Is it safe yet for you to chew and spit or swish and spit foods/liquids just to see what might or might not react from a mast cell perspective? Maybe after your dose of cromolyn sodium? Then once you figure out some “safe” stuff, you’ll have something to practice with once you get into a speech pathologist or someone who can help you with your swallowing issues?
I kept pausing the video to see if I could catch a glimpse of the elastics you were talking about to connect two splints on the same finger. I didn't see them on the SRS catalog. Did you get them from your OT? I just wear Oval-8's (more affordable for me, and easier for me at work), but I'm always losing the DIP ones because the PIP one pushes it off. (How many times I've had to dig through wastebaskets or the laundry trying to hunt them down!) Let me know where you got them, please!
Hey Christina. I do not suffer from EDS but I have stomach issues similar to the beginnings of gastroperisis! I also suffer from endometriosis and have had a few surgeries, I really suffer from the affliction of not healing very well, wounds popping back open, keloid scarring and that sort of thing. I was wondering if you could offer some words of wisdom on body healing in particular skin healing after surgery? I know you mentioned the cbd ointment had reduced your neck scar but was looking for your opinion on this ❤️ xx
See how your dog is holding his leg up like that. My 6 month old staffy jumped off our couch and broke his back leg. He had to have surgery ten days ago and he’s confined to a crate for 4-6 weeks on a bunch of sedating drugs.
What a great surprise from your friend! Could you (or anyone with some experience/knowledge) please tell me if the mask you wear keeps out germs? I'm going on a new med that is an immune suppressant and I don't want to spend all winter sick or hiding from germs.
Also I noticed that you dog was limping around 10 min into the video, I think you dogs knee cap slipped out of place. My dogs does that and I have to pop it back in for him, you just have to straighten and bend the leg til you feel it pop back in.
We took her to the vet and they notes knee swelling and prescribed anti inflammatories. They help but I worry shes making it worse because of them. I don’t think we could manipulate it though... she’s a biter on a good day
I’d like to hear more about the visceral thing I’ve heard of people with POTS sometimes buying airforce G suits. Are there now pressurised vest designed for POTS? Is that what the vest is?
I would love it if you got a P.O. Box I would love to send you something. You brighten my weak and I would love to say thank you on behalf of all your UK viewers
I do have a lovely girl that caption for me! Its just that I snd up editing and uploading all in one day for it usually takes her a bit to watch it and add them. Usually they are about a week behind 💜
I can't remember what video I saw that got me to subscribe (after watching a few more past videos), but it was a video from July that I saw 1-2wks after my neck fusion 7/17/18. Hearing your experience falling through the cracks with your tube feed frustrates me. I have some input re who manages your tube feed vs who works with you on resuming eating food/beverages orally. But rather than type it all, please reach out to me to discuss privately if interested.
Hey hey Christina :) It’s always good to see you! Now I’m only halfway into your vid, will finish the rest when I go to bed. Oh, by the way...you are looking absolutely beautiful! I love your most stunning complexion..I’m jelly. Lol Question, do people order the ring splints just to wear? I saw a couple that are so cute. Just wondering, but possibly not good to wear if no problems, I don’t know. Please let me know. Awwwww, I hope your little one gets the help she needs..can’t wait to hear she is doing much better and back to her normal little self. Sorry she hurt her leg, makes me sad too. Alright Christina, my bed time, I’m about to fall asleep where I sit. 😮 Take it easy ~
Aww you showed my bracelet eeeekkkk makes it even more special
Your sisters reaction to the necklaces was the cutest omg
I hope Sammy is feeling better. Poor baby.
Thank God for Trish xxxxxx
Love to you all xxxx
Your mom is getting to be a very excellent camera-person!
The necklaces are absolutely beautiful. That was so sweet that you made it for your sister.
Praying for Sammy. I love dogs.
I binged watched all your videos not realizing how much I was going to miss you when I had to wait a week to see you. 😩.
My moms dog had a hip that kept dislocating and finally after several appointments and the vet popping it back into place they advised her that she could have surgery to correct it which had a high fail rate, or amputate the leg and recover would be easier. I got an awesome gastroparesis shirt from Jen’s site using your code. Thank you!
Oh I live the great British bake off. They are such kind competitors.

My daughter has the same color vest. Hill Rom sent her a bear with a little pink vest too that her and her sister decided was named Steven.
Your living with EDS and POTS video showed me your world 😀 you’re such an inspiration to me. I’m still trying to figure out what’s going on with my joints but you have given me hope that a diagnosis is out there!

I love anything u upload no matter what the unboxings are my favorite
I loved Twitches!!
You're a good sister 💖
My son has Cystic Fibrosis and uses the vest 3x a day. It’s funny to see you in it lol
Hey Christina that’s my favorite Halloween movie to twitches and how do u deal with all the medical bills?
i LOVE the great british bake off

Also does Bonnie have an Etsy or similar for the famous lip balms?
I love the necklaces ongggg
Love your vlogs Christina!!!!!?

i have an airway clearance vest too. Cystic fibrosis !!
I'm craving pie now.

I have a question, since you have mast cells what is the make up you use? Like how did you figure out what worked for you
❤❤❤
❤️ ❤️ ❤️
I’d like to hear more about the visceral thing
I’ve heard of people with POTS sometimes buying airforce G suits. Are there now pressurised vest designed for POTS? Is that what the vest is?
Oh I was commenting on the previous video and it posted on this one
Did the puppy have a cramp ?
The filmed last day or the day we're seeing this?
"Wait whatttt?"
I would love it if you got a P.O. Box I would love to send you something. You brighten my weak and I would love to say thank you on behalf of all your UK viewers
Please let someone help addd. Proper closed captions. Auuuto-gen cc hard to follow. Very inteererated in topic.
I do have a lovely girl that caption for me! Its just that I snd up editing and uploading all in one day for it usually takes her a bit to watch it and add them. Usually they are about a week behind 💜
Does Bonnie have CF then? I don’t know why but I feel such a kinship with CFers as an EDSer...I’m a huge fan of Mary’s as well. What does Jen have?
I think on a previous video she said that it was some weird EDS type complication not CF.
Why does she have a vest like people with C.F?
@@charlotterandall6775 She needs help clearing mucus from her lungs but that mucus isn't caused by CF.
If she like me, I have reactive airways and my airway is floppy so I have a hard time clearing mucous. I wish my insurance would cover the vest!
I can't remember what video I saw that got me to subscribe (after watching a few more past videos), but it was a video from July that I saw 1-2wks after my neck fusion 7/17/18.

You’re so beautiful and perfect 😍💕
