Just wanted to note that the black cover a6 is the special English version that is only available in a6 size. It is different than the full year or avec Japanese and newly released English a6 versions with the cream cover. They have different grid sizes and colors, etc...
I am using an original- but because I need sunday start I have to stick with the original Japanes. Thank you for the comparison. The Hon is more similar to the a6 2024 I purchased on the inside. WHich I really love the top with the 5 priority box section.
Thanks for sharing the side by side for both. This helps people to make a decision which will work better for them. For a question for ask me anything: How long have you been using Hobonichi products? You always have nice covers.
I think the Hon version is closer to the original Japanese version than the English 'original' version, because the English one is altered to fit the western crowd. Seems like Hon is like the original, but with a thicker cover. But I'm just guessing because I have the Japanese original one.
Not me watching carefully as if I don't already have my Hobonich Techo original A6 all set up. I am debating getting the HON for work. BTW I love the stickers on you use on your 2024 index pages. Do you mind saying where you got them?
The original techo is the better value because it’s so neutral and clean, compact and it looks like you really don’t need a cover for it. I know that everyone wants a beautiful setup but the techo original beckons you to use it for lighter task management or journaling, GTD, common placing. This made me want to get two in my hobonichi order for projects and journaling. Only $23!
It’s tough for me….I think it’s because I like the added colors that are on the pages of the Hon, but then, I also like the simplistic look of the Original. You don’t need a cover with the Original…It’s very durable. At least half of the year, I didn’t have a cover on it and it looks fine.
@@PlanYourOneLife Exactly, if it were for GTD for capturing thoughts...it would be a delight to write in, but also be portable and you wouldn't feel like you have to baby it. This is the fun in fine tuning your line up. lol

oh and the reason for the 15 pages is because 2024 is a leap year, so they needed an extra page for feb 29th!
I know this is a planner video, but your nails are gorgeous! 💅🩵
😅 Thank you!

I’m not sure, maybe about 4 or 5 years. 😃

😮😅They are from Sterling Ink.
15:35 you mentioned the cover is special made for the hon size. Where did you get it? Any links? Thanks.

There one less page on the notes pages in 2024 because it is a leap year so the 29th Feb takes to page.

😅 I actually recorded my 2024 Planner Lineup video today…It will be released in about a week.
Sundays are always in red in the Original
I'm pretty sure that I said that in this video. 😉
