  • LAVA MINES Tuolumne County Table Mountain.
So, we decided to explore one again the Lava Mines under Table Mountain because we have better lighting and Cameras.
The first Mine has alot of fallen Rock so we had to do alot of crouching, but the second Mine is really clear and cut well. Both end with fresh water and the second has what looks like a set of Wooden tracks minus the Steel rails. Thank you for watching, more to come soon.

Yeah, these 2 are the hay backer and punch bowl mines. We've been in a few of them. One of them goes 3000 feet in in a lady's backyard. Another one had a tremendous inclined shaft. And it went down to carved stairs that curved like going down to some burial tombs.

That mountain is like Swiss cheese there are so many mines. The lava flow that formed table mountain followed the original Stanislaus river.

This one though is lava you can clearly see it up close it from the dardanells and flowed along the stanislaus river through a canyon. the canyon eroded and thus exposing the lava flow which is now called a mountain. the flow created that flat top, the table.

Just a little further up the trail off to the left. instead of going down it goes in then down. There is a 3rd one hidden we will look for soon. Look me up on FB under max wheeler, I got something really exclusive and no one ever gets to go without permission. I'd like to show you though on PM.
