When I worked as a water meter reader , there was a home owner who had a bee hive right next to the meter. A friend who had a lot of bees at his farm told me as long as I didn't disturb the bees I wouldn't be viewed by the bee's as a threat. The bee's going back and forth to the hive looked like a two lane highway. I would walk right through the bee's , read the meter and leave. It was a beautiful thing to see.
I love bees and I have never been stung by them. When my kids say I’m crazy I repeat the line from the Movie Jupiter Ascending about how bees recognize royalty and won’t sting royalty 😆

They don't have a barbed stinger, like the worker bees. Their stinger is smooth, so they can sting multiple times without dying. But apparently their sting is a lot less painful, and they normally don't sting people... but they can!

I ised to work for the gas company i had to inspect meteres and the pipe line.one day i walkd thru a yard beees and hives all over took my readings and while leaving the lady came out and told me how brave i was. I told her rottweilers and pirtbulls are way scarier
I love that beekeepers essentially trade in honey. One of my neighbors is a beekeeper and whenever it’s honey season he walks around and gives the neighborhood a jar per household. I don’t use a ton of honey throughout the year so I’ve got a couple of crystallized bottles, but it’s always nice to see him pop by every once in a while. Especially with sweet treats😊
Your videos helped me get over my fear of bees. I’m still slightly uncomfortable around them but I used to have panic attacks and run away every time I saw one. Thanks for that.❤
