Just add it to the “rental” charge Clint. 😉 Like I mentioned in a previous comment on your channel. There’s no better shakedown than a real life job site and in this case I guess it ended in a sale so it was even better.
If I were Matt, I'd be tickled at the new usable ground! Wonderful job. I really like the way you cleaned around the big rock way out there. It makes it stand out and I love rocks. Super cool look. Thanks; Mike, Clint & Jerry for helping Matt out. All of you and your families have a Wonderful Christmas and may the good Lord Bless you in the coming new year. Lee
I can hear the kid's already: I race you around the rock & back. Merry Christmas to all and have a great New Year. Great video. C & C Equipment trolling Mike. BAIT Used: Newer 850J. Mike bites HOOK-Line & Sinker. LOL!!
Well that came out looking better than I had expected, including the imposing rock at the head of the canyon. Truthfully, I like it better than the pond concept. Plus I would have hated to be the house down below that dam. Anyway, I respect the team you work with. Makes me think back to the days when I grew up in a small town and people would go out of their way to help each other in times of needs. Something, sadly, that I have not experienced for a very long time. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you.
I heard a lot of things about gravity anomalies and crystalline caves in that area of the country. Makes water run uphill. The Mississippi ran backwards one time during an earthquake - electro-magnetic waves? And ball lightning here in Missouri!
Happy Holidays to ya'll. I'm sorry for Mr. Millennial and his troubles. Thanks so much for sharing so much with us this year. It has been wonderful and I've learned a bunch.
A new dozer and ripper are definitely required but wait ..... Mrs & Mr M have a new canvas on which to build again - great job and funny video. All the best for the Season and 2022.
Greetings from No. VT - Yep, Clint stole your thunder on both the 850J trade and the ripper. Smart move in both cases! Clint is a smart marketer, he knew once you had your hands on the newer unit he would not be hauling it back.
Glad that it turned out a positive for Matt, despite the disappointment & expense he incurred. After seeing the drone footage, it definitely WOULD have been a beautiful spot, but maybe the barn & pool will make up for it. As to the 850 J, that's a hard decision; my 1st reaction was keeping the current one after Clint & crew came through so many times to get it rolling, but on the other hand if he's willing & some deal can be made beneficial to you both go with the new one. Since I'm posting this on Christmas eve, I want to wish you & yours, as well as Jerry & Matt & Aaron a very Merry Christmas! 🎄
Great to see Jerry coming out of his shell that must be the most banter the 2 of you have had in all the time you have filmed Jerry. Merry Christmas to you Mike,Jenna, Macy and Gunner all the Family and your Crew, hope Santa accommodates with all your wishes. Thanks for the entertaining year from NZ on Xmas Day.
Clint spoiled it. Just taking Captains job. Being the spoiler. Mike actually traded machines. Primarily due to the lower hours and rebuilt engine. Then the ripper came in to play. That's how old Clint the salesman got him sold. Merry Christmas everyone and God bless
Everyone’s eyeball lies sometimes. Always have to remember where the big hill is. A big hill in the background makes a flat spot look like a low spot. Cool video! Mr. Millennial should be happy that even though he doesn’t have a pond it’s still a great looking backyard. As always cool video! thanks for sharing!
Your 'eyeball' comment reminded me of an old joke... (Not quite sure WHY though)... Q1: What's "racecar" backwards? A1: It's still "racecar" Q2: What's "racecar" upside down? A2: Very expensive!!!!
That came out really nice. I think that as nice as that finished out that would take some of the sting out of loosing the pond option. Now Matt and his wife have a good solid platform in which to build there dream home on and in the future a pretty nice view. Thanks for the ride along.
Now now Mike don't be getting Jerry mad at you. You would miss him something terrible. Remember he's your ace in the hole. Besides you guys are to good of friends. God bless
I had already seen the video from C&C putting a ripper on. I was thinking that I heard you down play the need for a ripper in the past but was not sure. I did miss the fact that you also changed your mind on the 850J too. Congrats, Looks good.
The bottom fell out of a nice pond South of Spencer. It had been there for years. A 4 foot across hole . went dry over nite. On the East side of the river. . there is a small cave a half mile away.. But there was no indication where the water went. They dumped the hole full of limestone rip rap and clay. With a layer of some other stuff I don't remember what. Any way it filled back up and is still full of water. It's been over ten years now. It's sinkhole country up here any way. It was strange. Limestone up here and sandstone starts at Spencer.
C &C equipment let the cat out of the bag on you mike. Some of us now know that your behind in your videos because that 850.j doesnt have a ripper on it at this point but it will eventually if you ever get there in your videos. I know your are a busy guy and editing is a very time consuming job. God bless . Be safe and i wish you and your little family and friends a merry christmas. No new years yet because i am sure we will likely see another video before then but just in case. Happy new years. I have a funny feeling that this job got you wanting a ripper on the 850 j.
@@wildtimbrown he trades his old 850J for the new 850J and has the ripper added to the new dozer.....l have a feeling in the future he will have to retire the 850B and will end up with two 850J dozer's that will be the future someday then everything he owns will be green
Don't have to wait; for the trade-in, or the ripper (Spoiler Alert). New additions to the fleet ! Loved the video. So sorry for the pond Mr NYA Millenial !
55:20 We call that a slave socket in the British Military. Merry Christmas Mike when it comes ,thank you and the guys for a wonderful year of content. Looking forward to next year. More power to your elbow 💪🏼 and best wishes from Bonnie Scotland. 🙏🏼❤️✝️❤️🙏🏼
If I lived around you I would work for free on my days off just to play on that beautiful equipment. Man I would love to run one of those dozer’s. I’m stuck running my small landscaping equipment.
I worked with a surveyor years ago, I don't trust my eyes either, lol. Merry Christmas to all of you. Thanks for the videos, there all enjoyable and don't forget, Keep Smilin
That was fun to watch the transformation take place on that project. Man that was a lot of dirt. It is to bad Matt couldn’t get his pond. But I like the alternative. That will be a pretty spot once the grass grows in and easy to maintain. I’m glad the fire on the dozer wasn’t bad. Good job, Good video!
21:00 spring seat - missing fire extinguisher - no cup holders. Sure there will be another deviancies reported. Like the absent lighting package. What an outstanding machine though.
@3:56 not sure if it calls for one, but the air filter cover is missing it's "dust ejector valve". You see them on most newer canister types, but not all.
I have never given earth moving equipment a second thought until I started watching Dirt Perfect. Now I’m fascinated by the work you do and the equipment. Watching the rebuild of the 850J on the other channel was great. I’m hooked and now want to buy property and a 850 just to play with. My wife says nope. 🤨
Love the content, dirt projects are the backbone of EVERY project. The yellow 850 has a manual fuel shut off, unless I am mistaken it will run without batteries as long as it has fuel. Why not remove the batteries after starting the yellow 850 and put them back in the green 850J? Would have facilitated only a walk back to the 850J, rather than moving them from the 850 to the pickup and from the pickup to the 850J.
Some say you need a Komatsu D575A-3SD instead of the skid steer for the small around the yard work, but its the work that are determines what equipment to use ( the money to ) But what they dont see is all the other stuff you need to be able to use that equipment, and its need to be moved form diffrent sites.

That definitely a good shake down test in the rock 😁
Didn’t know I was supplying you a jump start machine also🤦♂️
Those military battery’s are heavy!
Lol thanks and yes they are

Like I mentioned in a previous comment on your channel. There’s no better shakedown than a real life job site and in this case I guess it ended in a sale so it was even better.
You gave DP's secret away C&C Equipment. That ripper looks sweet on that 850J you "loaned him to test!!! 😄
I love the interaction between y’all regarding the optical illusion the slope provided-super fun times! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😂🤣😂🎄✌🏻

Newer J and a ripper. Great Christmas in the Dirt Perfect house this year! Merry Christmas and thanks for sharing your year.
I would like to buy myself a tool for Christmas. I am planning on waiting until Spring.
Now that ripper installing video I watched the other day makes sense
Santa needs to bring you an air ride seat and a cup holder. Glad the fire damage was minimal. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
I would like a cup holder on one of my fathers Kubota mowers. It did not come with one.
Merry Christmas to all of the Dirt Perfect crew.
Thanks

I should have hooked up a tool to water and electric. If I spotted the issue while looking; I would not have bought it. I would like one brand new.
Jerry is an Ace with the 850H and You are also. Great Job.
Thanks for a lot of great videos in 2021! Merry Christmas to you and your family, Mike!

This is great, love the way you guys interact.

“99% of a time a ripper gets in the way that’s why we don’t have them” I just watched Clint put one on your 850j 😆
That's what I though when I heard that. How ironic. :-)
Glad you pointed that out, I saw that in my feed the other day. 😁
@@maxium4x4 haha I just finished it and heard it too
I just stopped the video at 10:00 to make the same comment.
