If you go to the sph run node in the simulation setup and go to time step criteria and delete Acceleration and Derivates it runs the simulation faster. and you should also set the Divergence factor to 0.1 it should go like 30 times faster so instead of 10k or whatever particle count you were using, you can make it have a lot more particles and detail and it looks a lot better
