Please please make more guides. I feel this is the only lv90 guide on RUclips that makes sense to new players. Thanks for the kind words! I have a few more specific guides I'm working on now but will keep thinking of compendium guides, like this one, for the future. I know there are a lot of tutorials out there for SWG but not many that help players navigate to content. The knowledge gap is the greatest challenge when getting into SWG so I'm hoping to narrow that gap for others.
This is definitely the most comprehensive guide I've seen on the subject. It's helpful even to a long-time player such as myself. Thanks for taking the time to make this.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge and creating such a helpful video! May the force be with you always.

Thanks for the kind words and I'm glad it's helping! I agree that getting into, or returning to, the game can be overwhelming so I'm happy this video is helping to address that point.
Great guide! I try to stay away from space flight though. It makes me sick (motion sickness?). Plus, the many controls in flight are a bit difficult to get used to. Edit: I'm a newly leveled 90 Jedi and I went to talk to Matareno from this video at 17:27 but he won't speak to me. Is there something else I have to do?
To my knowledge, the only requirement is that you need to be a level 85 Jedi or higher so you should qualify. If you check your Collections menu (can be accessed via the Escape Menu) and don't see the Master Jedi Cloaks collection active you should try posting in the SWG Legends Discord for additional insight. @@outofthisworldburrito Thank you for taking the time to provide the info. I'll definitely check it out! Finding specific info on this game compared to other mmos can be daunting at times.
I agree! I hope to get more general, compendium information like this out in the future for SWG. There is a lot of good guides and documentation but they're tough to find, so combining the topics and pointing people in the right direction seems to be valuable.
you should update this lol at 4:49 some of that stuff you can a few times if not a lot now. like the Barc is giving to you during the legacy quest on tat and now all vet rewards are quest or looted, with a few that can be bought from a vendor for credits. And term missions are 14 per day and you don't lose the bouns if you refresh the page
the Mustafar reward skiff is also given to you when you complete Jabas Theme Park and the walker mount is given to you when you complete the first part of the Naboo legacy quest.
The June 2023 update did change how to obtain a good number of these items, like the BARC speeder and Desert Skiff as you mentioned. Given the updates the emulator frequently receives throughout the year I wasn't surprised to see changes nearly a year after this guide's upload to make some information outdated. Luckily easy to update sources, like the SWG Legends, have been corrected to reflect these changes to the game. The majority of content in this guide is still applicable, like selling these items for credits instead of redeeming them as a strategy to get credits early, so I'm not keen on updating it at this time over working on new videos. I misspoke regarding the number of terminal missions you can do in a day which is why there was corrective text placed at that moment in the video, which indicates the daily bonus as 15 and not 10 or 14. I was far along in the editing process when I recognized the error and didn't feel it worth the time to re-record that section to correct the audio, hence the solution of adding text to the screen. The "bonus loss" I referred to in the video was for the extra payout smugglers can receive for slicing the terminal. In the past I've sliced the terminal, refreshed the list, and saw the payout go down which is what I experienced when re-testing it for this video. It is possible that it was patched since then and I missed the note or the fix wasn't advertised. Thankfully the smuggler can just re-slice the terminal again if they mistakenly refresh the list. The daily COMPNOR bonus isn't affected by refreshing the mission list. Thanks for the feedback! I may consider updating this guide in the future if Legends continues to receive updates that impact the advice provided in this video.
Thank you for posting this video and showing what is needed for endgame content. I played this game when it was out originally and spent about 6 months grinding to be able to be effective in any sort of way. Watching this video makes me feel like it's going to be even more of a grind than before so I appreciate the preview and it's helped me to decide to pass this one up even though I know it's an awesome game. It's just way way too much game.
I'm glad my video was helpful in your decision making but saddened to hear you decided to pass on returning to the game! If you reconsider trying out SWG Legends and have a hard time finding someone for advice, help, or to play with you can spot me lurking the SWG Legends Discord (with the same name as my RUclips) or hit me up over on Twitch. I've helped players get geared and into the content they're looking at trying in the game and I still look to do that when possible. Keep in mind that on SWG Legends each account receives 1 'Holocron of Knowledge' which lets them turn one character to level 90 instantly. If you're looking to just dips your toes into the game's level 90 combat content that's a great way to try things out. However, I highly recommend leveling a character to 90 the old-fashioned way at some point as it helps get you reoriented and is rewarding now that they moved some of the veteran rewards (e.g. AT-RT, BARC Speeder) behind Legacy Quest completion.
Hi there great and helpful video! Played legends a couple years back and came back here a couple days ago and I find myself completely lost lol. Was playing a precu server for that whole hiatus and was wondering if theres a guide or a way to get legends to play similar to precu/nge with options menu?
I'm glad the video helped! I'm not completely sure what your question is, but if you're looking to get the UI elements looking similar to Pre-CU there may be some mods to do so. The SWG Legends Discord has a channel called "game-mods" where there are some useful mods pinned and you could ask around there. I run the game mostly vanilla (I have a mod to suppress certain sound effects) so my knowledge on modding it is limited. If you're asking is there a way to get Legends to play like Pre-Cu, no. The game is emulating a version of the NGE so the old skill tree and trainer system isn't available. If you want to play Pre-CU or CU, I suggest checking out Finalizer (SWGemu, Pre-CU) or Restoration 3 (CU with NGE content).
@@outofthisworldburrito oh no nothing like that lol. Sorry I meant like is there a way to get the controls on legends like precu. After playing precu a while and coming back to legends the controls feel real clunky and dont really want to use tilde key would rather just click and hold things for the radial menu
Oh okay. I know there are some options in-game to get things closer to pre-cu but I don't think it can natively replicate that control scheme. For example, the 'Summon Radial Menu' option can be rebound from tilde to other keys (Options > Keymap > UI) but I haven't found an option for click + hold to summon the menu. All of the interface and control options are scattered throughout the Interface, Controls, Misc, and Keymap tabs of the options menu. If you don't see an option you think exists in one tab I recommend checking the others in that list (the devs scattered some good options throughout those menus).
You should do a video on making pets with incubators. You did a very good one on how to domesticate animals. Why not do one for those intent on doing more with making pets?
Thanks for the suggestion, I'll keep it in mind! The pet incubation process, and Beast Mastery in general, has a lot of great guides and existing documentation to work from which is why I didn't prioritize it over Legends' version of creature taming which is a unique system.
How do you get decimal points on your vendors? When I look up prices on bazaar, the price would be 300000. How do I get it to show up as 300,000, like you do at 11:10
You can add commas, periods, or spaces to your currency displays by logging into a character and doing the following: 1) Open the Options window ('O' by default or expand your Esc menu and select Options) 2) On the left side of the window select the 'Misc' tab to show the Misc Options section 3) Scroll to the bottom of Misc Options and under 'Currency Format' you can use the dropdown box to select 'Comma delimited' (adds commas like mine), 'Period delimited,' or 'Space delimited.' 'None' in that selection is the default which saves UI space but makes numbers harder to read quickly for me, which is why I like the commas. I hope that helps!
I would suggest always having a smuggler with the spawn junk dealer skill farming all the time, in the dantooinian cave that drops the crystals. just remember to not sell the crystals also, the speed upgrade on mounts is a must
My smuggler's junk dealer saved me a lot of trips out of the Rryatt Trail and Frosch Bunker when AFKing. I agree that the vehicle upgrade kit is amazing for mounts, especially slower ones like the Desert Skiff. The crystal hunter cave on Dantooine is a super competitive AFK spot since a lot of people farm it for holocron drops. For the few times I tried I wasn't able to grab a spot there, but if you're quick after a server reset I can see getting an okay spot.
Legends emulates the NGE with some custom rebalances and content additions. Bespin, and other content like the Jedi Themepark Heroics mentioned in the video, are original to the SWG Legends emulator. They weren't things on live and aren't found on any other SWG emulator.
Hi I was wondering how I can get credits from the mission terminals I’m new and used the 90 boost but my lightsaber is too weak to be able to complete any missions and I’m having difficulty making credits so I can buy a 4th generation lightsaber kit
If you're having difficultly completing mission terminals then you may want to try going to Mustafar and starting with those quests. You'll be significantly over the recommended level for most of them making it more approachable than at-level mission terminals. I'd especially recommend completing "Symbiosis" to get a good melee weapon. The Caller of Storms sword will tie you over until you can craft a 4th generation lightsaber: swglegends.com/wiki/index.php?title=Symbiosis
@@outofthisworldburrito I was wondering bro how can I start the quest symbiosis cause I just went to the location waypoint and I am not finding any quests just the one to explore mustafar I tried a few other missions but because of my low level gear and lightsaber I’m killed in seconds I am using a cybernetic arm the one from grievous on kashyyk I got it on the bazaar but I’m unsure if that helps
@@DARKFIREMUSIC666 You'd have higher protection claiming your knight robe from the Yavin IV/Dantooine shrines like I mentioned in the video instead of using the arm. Symbosis starts from examining the corpses in the area or checking the bag, one of the two.
@@outofthisworldburrito thank you bro ❤️ and I was just wondering where is the bag located cause I put the waypoint on my map and it just leads me to the first mustafar room and there’s nothing interactive except for the mustafar panel that gives you the explore mustafar mission
By start do you mean installing the game? If so the Legends website itself has a good set of instructions. Alternatively the forums also have some good tips and you can ask for help on specific steps there. Legends Site: swglegends.com/getting-started.php Legends Forums: swglegends.com/forums/forum.php If you mean getting to level 90 I have an entire series dedicated to questing up to, and at, level 90 on this channel. @@outofthisworldburrito no, the start of these quests, to help us figure out the best way to start in order to get and complete, for the stuff we would need for our commandos ok, TY
Like a 'How to play Commando' guide but for every profession? Something that lists specific recommendations for a profession rather than general recommendations?
Oh and seems the desert skiff doesnt work on lava (guess they changed it?) tried going over some lava with a friend on it with me he got out of the lava but i wasnt so lucky and had to buy a dang vehicle restoration kit ugh lol
Lava, and other damaging surfaces, shouldn't destroy vehicles. For example, if you drive a swoop over lava it will deal damage to the driver but not the vehicle. My only thought is that maybe your friend drew aggression from a creature, like a tulrus, that did a area or cone of effect, like trample, which destroyed the mount. I've had tulruses destroy my mounts a few times with trample.
Sockets on armor can be filled with Breastplate/Armor Attachments (versions of Skill Enhancing Attachments). If you're looking for attachments to buy I suggest asking in the SWG Legends Discord server (specifically the #trade or #crafters-corner) for someone to fill your request. If you're wondering how to match attachments yourself the Legends forum has a few guides: swglegends.com/forums/showthread.php?33237-An-easy-RE-Guide-for-starters-on-how-to-make-35-s swglegends.com/forums/showthread.php?377-Reverse-Engineering-101
Ok I got it to install now it says network error the station launchpad is unable to connect to the network at this time please try again in a few minutes
The Legends server has a German community with at least 2 guilds being German-player focused. The website and download instructions aren't in German but once you make an account you can access German message boards. Download: swglegends.com/getting-started.php German Forums (must be logged in to view): swglegends.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?170-Omega-Galaxy-German-Forum
So the issue I’m having is I can’t even do solo 90 content . My gear is so bad and I don’t have the credits to get better gear. I die trying to do anything to get credits
If you've already allocated your Expertise Points into your Expertise Tree, checked your Command menu to make sure you're using the highest level version of your special actions, and got Entertainer & Medic buffs before venturing out then you may want to ask for help in the SWG Legends Discord server. Players there are usually willing to help new players make sure they're ready for the content they're attempting. swglegends.com/chat.php
I don't use isBoxer, it isn't necessary for SWG Legends. To run multiple instances at once I do the following: 1) Launch the game windowed from the SWG Legends Launcher 2) Login to one character 3) Tab over to the SWG Legends launcher 4) Launch another instance of the game SWG Legends allows players to be logged into 3 characters at the same time.
The SWG Legends forums and Discord are the best ways to find people to play Legends with if you're looking for a specific experience (e.g. roleplay, endgame PvE, PvP, etc), join a guild, or just seeing if anyone is available to do something. I usually invite people to play with me when I stream on Twitch or via my own Discord server (which has an invite available on my Twitch profile). I also play with others outside of stream too, of course.
The more I watch in the more I realize how much you have to do just to compete the more I don't want to play the game. Just started playing again as a former veteran player from back in the day and seeing all of these hoops you have to jump through just makes it seem so daunting and such a Time sync just to be able to play a game
I completely understand but thankfully the Legends community is really helpful! If you're feeling overwhelmed returning to the game I recommend joining the SWG Legends and asking for advice or joining a guild. While it sounds like a lot to do, a friend or two can make gearing up and getting into the content you want to tackle take less than a week with casual play.

How do I get it to show up as 300,000, like you do at 11:10
You can add commas, periods, or spaces to your currency displays by logging into a character and doing the following:
1) Open the Options window ('O' by default or expand your Esc menu and select Options)
2) On the left side of the window select the 'Misc' tab to show the Misc Options section
3) Scroll to the bottom of Misc Options and under 'Currency Format' you can use the dropdown box to select 'Comma delimited' (adds commas like mine), 'Period delimited,' or 'Space delimited.'
'None' in that selection is the default which saves UI space but makes numbers harder to read quickly for me, which is why I like the commas. I hope that helps!
I would suggest always having a smuggler with the spawn junk dealer skill farming all the time, in the dantooinian cave that drops the crystals. just remember to not sell the crystals
also, the speed upgrade on mounts is a must
My smuggler's junk dealer saved me a lot of trips out of the Rryatt Trail and Frosch Bunker when AFKing.
Only one guide?! You need to make more! :)
Thanks for the encouragement! I'm currently working on one for SWGLegends' creature taming system that was introduced earlier this year.
HELL YEAH, FLASH SPEEDER
Based
What version of swg is this? Be spin on the map?
@@outofthisworldburrito Thank you so much bro 🙏❤️
@@outofthisworldburrito thank you bro ❤️ and I was just wondering where is the bag located cause I put the waypoint on my map and it just leads me to the first mustafar room and there’s nothing interactive except for the mustafar panel that gives you the explore mustafar mission
would you be able to do a video on how to start all this please ?
By start do you mean installing the game? If so the Legends website itself has a good set of instructions. Alternatively the forums also have some good tips and you can ask for help on specific steps there.

If you mean getting to level 90 I have an entire series dedicated to questing up to, and at, level 90 on this channel. Here is a link to that playlist: ruclips.net/video/mN3gBeqyM5c/видео.htmlsi=qe15tmj58DvLjsvf
@@outofthisworldburrito no, the start of these quests, to help us figure out the best way to start in order to get and complete, for the stuff we would need for our commandos ok, TY
@@outofthisworldburrito our are other char class's ok, TY
I've had tulruses destroy my mounts a few times with trample.
i bought a armor set that has socket sloth but i dont know how to socket, can anyone tell me how?
Sockets on armor can be filled with Breastplate/Armor Attachments (versions of Skill Enhancing Attachments). If you're looking for attachments to buy I suggest asking in the SWG Legends Discord server (specifically the #trade or #crafters-corner) for someone to fill your request.
If you're wondering how to match attachments yourself the Legends forum has a few guides:

I'm back on Legends.. In game name- Firegoggles
Is it possible to play SWG Legends without the discs (I have my original discs, but my laptop doesn't have a cd drive) please let me know
Yes. See the 'Sidebar' section of the r/swg subreddit for more information: www.reddit.com/r/swg/
What instructions What sidebar? I don't understand
The sidebar on the right side of the subreddit has hyperlinks to downloads of the game files. It can substitute installing from the disc.
It keeps asking for the next disc what do I do?
Ok I got it to install now it says network error the station launchpad is unable to connect to the network at this time please try again in a few minutes
Is any server where can i play
And can i play this in german
The Legends server has a German community with at least 2 guilds being German-player focused.
The website and download instructions aren't in German but once you make an account you can access German message boards.
Download: swglegends.com/getting-started.php

So the issue I’m having is I can’t even do solo 90 content . My gear is so bad and I don’t have the credits to get better gear. I die trying to do anything to get credits
If you've already allocated your Expertise Points into your Expertise Tree, checked your Command menu to make sure you're using the highest level version of your special actions, and got Entertainer & Medic buffs before venturing out then you may want to ask for help in the SWG Legends Discord server. Players there are usually willing to help new players make sure they're ready for the content they're attempting.

can you do a video on setting up isboxer for SWG please ?
I don't use isBoxer, it isn't necessary for SWG Legends. To run multiple instances at once I do the following:
1) Launch the game windowed from the SWG Legends Launcher
2) Login to one character
3) Tab over to the SWG Legends launcher
4) Launch another instance of the game
SWG Legends allows players to be logged into 3 characters at the same time.
I'd like to find someone to play with
The SWG Legends forums and Discord are the best ways to find people to play Legends with if you're looking for a specific experience (e.g. roleplay, endgame PvE, PvP, etc), join a guild, or just seeing if anyone is available to do something.
I usually invite people to play with me when I stream on Twitch or via my own Discord server (which has an invite available on my Twitch profile). I also play with others outside of stream too, of course.
I love pizza planet 😍
Can't wait for Felucia to release so you can eat a vegetable.

Bitmap for real, for real.
