The 2025 Ducati DesertX Discovery is a new adventure motorcycle that is built to explore the unexplored. It comes with a variety of features that make it ideal for off-road riding, including reinforced hand guards, an engine guard, a larger windshield, and a center stand.
Powered by a 937 cc, liquid-cooled Testastretta 11 V-twin engine that produces 110 hp at 9,250 rpm and 92 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The suspension is fully adjustable and provides 230 mm of travel in the front and 220 mm of travel in the rear. The wheels are spoked and come in 21-inch front and 18-inch rear sizes. The brakes are Brembo M50 monobloc calipers in the front and a two-piston caliper in the rear. The seat height is 875 mm, but there are lower seat options available. The fuel tank holds 21 liters of fuel and the bike weighs 210 kg.
The electronics suite includes three riding modes for road use and two for off-road use, as well as Ducati Traction Control, cornering ABS, wheelie control, and turn-by-turn navigation. The Discovery has an MSRP of $19,995 and is expected to arrive at dealers in fall of 2024 in a new color scheme called "Thrilling Black or Ducati Red."
