Hey Metalman! You're doing some really great work and I appreciate the way you review model kits! Please keep doing what you're doing!

OH MY LORD! MAD RESPECT to all the companies making new products with its own unique styles. For the green plastic ive seen people take the 2 pieces off and then placing the main weapon part in between to keep it together.
Have you seen Orange Cat Industries Estailev?

So happy to see your honest review of the Judge.
I hope you do the In Era+ Ruling (basically the improved version of the Calamity Gundam) next...

I want to say while the judge is an amazing display piece it does fall short in some areas, mainly the build experience, and partially the stability which is affected by the build. You have to do a lot of guessing with the kit to make sure you're doing the right fits as the instructions aren't as clear as other companies, and some pieces require adjustments such as sanding down or altering the them to make them fit. Nothing new though, if you're used to building Ver Ka's, so you'll understand the solutions needed when you come across something that needs tweaking, though this felt more than a tweak and more like a full on fix.
The other part is the quality of the plastic, at first I thought it felt great but after 30 mins, each piece was a skin shredder, it's difficult to describe other than the feeling you get from playing fighting games with the old Sega Dreamcast control after a few hours but in just a quarter of the time. It felt like I needed to take more breaks building it to compensate for the irritations due to the sharpness of some areas and the hardness of some of the plastic. I would also be very careful with some pieces because they are very fragile and you can see that they sort of went overboard with the pieces to build a single section so some are very small and easy to break. Certainly makes me appreciate building something simpler afterwards.
I don't think this is as revolutionary as we all thought it was, it certainly ups the visual factor but there are still aspects they need to account for, though I see that they we're bought out by another company when they released their last kit and it's definitely an improvement from what I've been reading, and hoping to try it out soon. I don't mean to do any disservice to your review just finding it more amped up than anything and it's a B grade kit to be honest, perhaps an A in the 3rd party community but again, this one kit is just quite not there.
My advice to those on this thread, if you're planning on building this, be patient, take a look at build videos so you can avoid the shortcomings and understand how to fix some parts. And be very patient with posing it, things like the side skirts and the hands tend to fall of because of how they're "secured" and don't snap on as well as they should. But in all, it's still an amazing figure to display, mine certain holds up after all this time though I wish I had something to better prop up the backpack (it keeps pulling down the torso, it's really heavy).

Nice summary. No disservice done, I agree mostly and it's why I gave it a B-. Thanks for commenting.

Consideringing you put this on several of my reviews I guess I should let you know that I'm using an A through F scale. I don't have an S ranking. Anything in A is a fantastic build with almost no flaws. B is a great kit with some flaws that make the building process difficult or has trouble after it's been built like the judge whos backpack actually broke when I was trying to put it together because the joints were so tight or that the legs are so heavy they slowly slide off the hip connection over time. C is kits with major flaws so on and so forth. I appreciate your interest in my channel but it really doesn't seem to be for you.

I have no clue what your saying.
Metalman x is arguably the best third party kit reviewer by a huge amount. He covers everything in depth and isn’t bias. Always giving an objective ranking. Hell I’m hard pressed to buy third party kits he hasn’t reviewed.
The judge was revolutionary and showed that a third party company could make a kit better than Bandai, for cheaper and have it be solid. It walked so motor nuclear and in era could run. As far as third party kits it’s like the rg unicorn of third party, it showed that rg could be good but it has issues itself.

Bro has good honesty and I'm glad he doesn't throw A's everywhere. There's no such thing as a ultimate kit because nothing is perfect when it comes to human errors. It's honest for the builder so the builder will know and prepare for those cons. Adaptations and modifications on build issues are a key trait in hobbies.
