Lol !!! I was trying to find out, I ended up planting some bulbs up, some down. And all of them worked !!! On some the roots are growing near the “green stem”. So I just kind tucked the roots in, put the stem up :) I keep mine in a humidity dome things
This is the most detailed video I think I’ve found so far! Bought some bulbs without doing the research first and thought I’d wing it, but I’ll definitely try de-eyeing them first now ✌🏻 Thanks so much!! 🌿
Why did Amazon tell me that my bulbs would sprout within 2weeks😑 going on a month and me digging my soil up halfway to see if anything was happening-noticed that there are now roots and some tiny 1inch stalks I FINALLY have seen those stalks peaking 1inch out the soil top. I got another and this time i will de-eye and compare the results of the two pots THANKS for the in-depth close up.
I got some bulbs in the mail and never planted them. I threw them in some dirt and both are sprouting and growing beautifully. I had no clue which side was up or down lol. This is helpful though.
I'm just wondering if it is ok to use rooting powder or soak them in root stimulant liquid after de-eyeing? Is it always necessary to let them dry after de-eyeing?
Just planted my bulbs two days ago. How often should I water ? Can I keep them in the sun to grow. If I keep it indoors where should I place them ? I have so many questions 😭😭😭 pls help
I don't have a lot of room in my house so, could I just put these in a cell tray and leave them on my dining room table? May be cover with another cell try to keep it dark? fantastic video, thank you!
Getting ready to plant mine for the first time today, your instructions are much appreciated! Can the caladiums be grown and left in the ground over winter? I live in zone 8, we get snow and frost here in the winter months. Or is it best to keep them in pots and bring them in during winter cold?
you can keep your caladiums in the pot over winter but make sure to take it inside during winter and cold seasons, keep it in a dark dry area and everything is going to be perfect) i took mine out of the drawers the other day and put them outside for 3 days because it became hot over here, today i planted them and they already have growth on the bulbs))
What if the bottom of the bud is not really flat? What I both sides are bumpy? On of mine had something sticking out like a black tooth... What will happen I you plant it upside down?
Hello!!! Thank you for all your instructions! I have 2 questions... Firstly, i had cut the bulbs' eyes as i watched in your video ruclips.net/video/HXKIT_CLVQ0/видео.html . So, do i have to cut them again now? And secondly, does bulb need water after putting it in the soil?
I've finally found the video that tells me which is the "right side up". Thank you!
