To reconcile what the sheikh said that some small group of scholars says that without pride is okay , so some people may think that minority of scholar said so we can let it hang below the ankle.let me tell you a hadith; Ibn ‘Umar said: "I passed by the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and my izaar had slipped down. He said, ‘O ‘Abdullaah, pull up your izaar!’ so I pulled it up. He said, ‘More!’ so I pulled it up more, and always made sure it was pulled up properly after that." Some people asked, "To where did you pull it up?" He said, "To mid-calf length." (Reported by Muslim, no. 2086; al-Dhahabi, Kitaab al-Kabaa’ir, 131-132)
So I am asking you did ibn Umar r.a. had pride in him while letting the garnments below the ankle so the answer is quite clear.

@@rijadhadzic3396 brother if you consider yourself to be on the right path then show some humility, if you live somewhere in a place which has harsh weather conditions then you can wear warm socks you can wear winter boots, the lower garment should remain above the ankles only rather than to be visible, you wholly misunderstood the point, so I advise you be calm and be respectful to your fellow Muslim brethren, the sanctity of a single Muslim is more than ka'abah.

Rather, Ibn 'Umar was unaware of the ruling then or he was unaware that his garment was below his ankles so he didn't pay much attention to that issue then. It's not that, AstaghfirUllah, Ibn 'Umar had pride in him. ABSOLUTELY NOT, but that he was either unaware of the ruling or unaware that his garment was below the ankles. This is what I see to be the interpretation, and it is more correct than what you said regarding pride being shown by putting the izaar below the ankles.

If you have your doubts, like always that is wiswas, trying to get you to believe your religion is difficult to follow. Do not give in to his wiswas! If you want to lose all doubts on this issue, *buy pants that fit you properly* if you can’t then *cut them shorter* if you can’t cut them then *keep them folded throughout the time you wear them* just always make sure you don’t wear them below the ankles with the intent of having superiority or pride!
I want to ask, folding of garments is considered bad only in the prayer or this is the same for normal life as well?
Folding is prohibited. Sahih Muslim and Sahih Bukhari have reference Hadiths. Imam should read it before misguiding others.

*that's literally arrogant and untrue. Nowadays, men and women are following the opposite which is a pure sin (women with shorter garment above ankle and men below it) .. People who think like that are far away from Islam. You can hide your ankle but only if you're wearing socks and not the trouser itself that goes below it like a hanging curtain which looks rather disturbing*

So it's haram to have them below the ankles but also haram to fold them. Well the alternative then is shorts and that uncovers a man's awrah so I have my excuse on yawm al-Qiyamah for folding: it was a necessity, ya Rabb!
